We came across Lewis on the Hitched website and immediately felt he would be a good fit to capture our wedding – and we weren’t wrong. From the first consultation, he was really clear about his photography style and what we could expect from his services; and the final consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding really reassured me that he would capture all of the essential moments.
On the wedding morning, Lewis met me and my bridesmaids at our hotel to capture us getting ready – his energy levels were contagious and really got us in the spirit of celebration. Despite the room being very full with me, six bridesmaids and three stylists, Lewis was able to seamlessly work around everyone to ensure the morning was well documented. He moved across to the venue with us shortly afterwards and continued to catch all the special moments – a first look with my parents, gifts, getting ready. He was also more than happy to capture some of the ‘sillier’ requests from my sister and I.
Lewis stayed with us for the rest of the day, until around 9pm – he somehow managed to be everywhere without us even noticing he was there, but based on the previews, I’m confident he has captured so many special moments. One of our guests even came up to me an extatically exclaimed ‘your photographer is everywhere, it’s great!’. The portrait previews we have seen are absolutely stunning – not only did we get some beautiful photos during and after the ceremony, Lewis was always on the look out for more opportunities for a good photo, and he even spotted a brief moment where the sky looked on fire at sunset, and quickly got us outside for a photo opportunity that I had wished for, but didn’t think I’d get with it being a cloudy day – so massive props to him for that!
I’m so incredibly happy that we found Lewis – his photos capture the emotion in every little moment and every image is the perfect reflection of the love and happiness we felt on the day. I shall treasure these photos forever, and can’t thank him enough for the wonderful job he did documenting our special day.

Lewis was absolutely incredible, from the first phone call over a year ago to the final goodbye on the night (of which we were very sad to see him go!) he was an absolute gentleman and went above and beyond our expectations, including being game with going up in a very high cherry picker for the group pic! We had our wedding in a church and then on a family farm and the photos have captured the fun, the laughs, the heartfelt moments so perfectly. Everything felt so natural and candid and he put at us ease immediately, I can’t recommend him enough!

If you want an elite level photographer who will get unbelievable pictures of your special, once in a lifetime day, then honestly don't hesitate to use Lewis. We used Lewis after seeing his work at a wedding fair. Our venue had to change to Chester House Estate, and even though it was then a venue he hadnt used before he had no hesitation. He did a video call with us beforehand, got all the key info and listened to what we wanted. He then turned up early to the venue, did all the prep to find the perfect backdrops for spectacular photos. He sent us the photos and a slideshow within a few days and I was honestly beyond blown away! His craftmenship was outstanding, the quality of work was on another level! He captured so photos even beyond our wildest imaginations, always had helpful hints and tips but always always let you lead the way if you wanted.

On top of this, he is such a top top nice bloke. It felt like having a mate at my wedding with Lewis there, he made it a pleasure, effortless and so natural to take photos on such a big day. So natural and exquisite photography, I would never hesitate to use Lewis and it is worth every penny! Mutiple guests said how nice he was and how he worked his socks off! I can't emphasize enough how glad I am to have booked Lewis for our wedding at Chester House Rushden. He slotted in to the day seamlessly, took so many amazing candid photos (it seems like noone has a bad angle!), and how easy he made the portraits to do. We initially chose Lewis as we loved the natural photos on his website. After speaking to him we felt reassured that he would capture what we wanted for our small family wedding - relaxed informal shots and some more formal photos as well.

Lewis was our photographer for our wedding and we are so glad with our decision to have him as a supplier. From the first message Lewis was very reassuring, caring and informative about what to expect on the day and the process beforehand too. From the moment we met on our zoom meeting Lewis made us feel seen, understood, and completely at ease as we went through the day and how we wanted it captured. We decided we wanted less staged photos and more natural shots and somehow, Lewis managed to capture moments that looked so real you would think it was staged.

As I stood waiting for partner, trying to hold myself together during the vows, the way our guests looked at us during the ceremony and the happy smile on our dogs face. These weren’t just photos. They were moments. And they mean everything to us and our family.

I had family members come up to me asking if we knew Lewis personally as he slotted himself in and enjoyed himself just as much as the guests. Such a calm, kind, and grounding presence throughout the entire day and very much professional. We never felt rushed or posed. Everything felt natural, intimate, and real. exactly how we wanted to remember it. Lewis captured our nephew being the best ring bearer aswell as also being dragged around the lawn games by him wanting the perfect photo.

If you are lucky enough to work with lewis know that you are not just hiring a photographer. You are working with someone that will be a friend, be everybody's plus one and the most dedicated person to getting the best photo.
It is hard to find someone that you can trust with your most special day and I can promise you, from bridal prep to first dance he will not stop.
