The story of your day beautifully captured! Wedding Photographers based in Hull serving Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshre and beyond.
We are Chris and Rachel Kitchen, a husband and wife team of wedding photographers with a love of story telling through photo and film. We love to get to know you and your story so far, so by the time your wedding day arrives you will see us as a couple of extra friends at your wedding who you are comfortable and relaxed around.
When choosing us to photograph your wedding you are not just paying for somebody to turn up on the day and take some photographs, with us you are investing in a service that begins well before you walk down the aisle. We are a husband and wife team with a love of weddings who genuinely care about you and your day. This starts with getting to know you when you first contact us and continues through your preparations so that on the day itself you can relax and trust that the story of your day will be beautifully captured.
We invest a lot of time into planning your day and care that everything runs smoothly for you. We have a brilliant questionnaire which we send over a couple of months before your wedding, this helps us learn what’s important to you. We will follow this up with a pre-wedding meeting, this is a perfect opportunity to discuss the final details including your timeline, group shots and any other surprises that you may have in store!
Been a team of two photographers, this gives us two pairs of eyes so that you get a variety of angles for all the big moments of your day. The second pair of hands is also valuable in a variety of other ways throughout your day, helping to keep your day flowing by gathering people for group photographs, straightening your dress (and tie) so it looks perfect in your photographs and generally acting as an extra bridesmaid! It has been said that “Chris is the best bridesmaid!”

Yes, the images from your day will be professionally edited and then delivered to you in a secure online gallery, the images are hi-resolution and perfect for print and social media sharing!

A deposit of £200 is required to secure your date and we will be on hand to ensure we have all the details covered ready for your big day! Final balance is due 6 weeks prior to your wedding day

Excellent wedding photographers!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photography duo for our wedding. We had two video calls with them prior, and so even before meeting we instantly felt that w
e would be in safe hands - Christopher and Rachel seemed knowledgeable and experienced, but also warm and light-hearted.
They had such a keen eye for small details and really understood and enhanced the aesthetic choices we had put our hearts into. They fit in so naturally with our friends and family on the day that some guests actually asked whether or not they were friends of ours!
A relaxed and low pressure approach helped everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it really shows in the photos - full of genuine expressions and deftly captured moments of laughter, joy and great dance moves.
Christopher and Rachel are extremely talented photographers and a much appreciated calming presence on what can be a very intense day. They helped make it the best day of my life, and gave us the gift of memories we can now revisit and treasure forever.

Best decision ever!
Chris and Rachel are fantastic at what they do! They truly listened and made the effort to get to know us to understand exactly what we wanted. We didn’t want a traditional wedding day, we chose to have a fairly informal, laid back evening ceremony and reception. Chris and Rachel were the perfect addition to the celebrations, our guests commented on how lovely they were and most actually thought they were our friends rather than supplying a service!
The main thing we wanted from our photographer was to take candid photos so we could capture all the special moments and emotions. We aren’t particularly confident in front of the camera so didn’t want to spend ages posing for awkward pictures. They made us feel very comfortable.
After the ceremony we wanted to venture to a local park to read to each other our private vows, along with our dog. Chris and Rachel were really exited about this and even did some research for us and took time to go and visit the park prior to the day to check it out! They drove us over there and took some absolutely stunning photos which capture a very special moment for us, and of course some beautiful shots of our dog!
The photos were ready for us to view super quick and we were blown away by them! They brought back all the emotions of the day and we felt like we were living the day all over again. There are so many beautiful photos it’s going to be a struggle to decide on the favourites to be printed.
We can’t recommend Chris and Rachel enough, they were the best decision we made for our wedding!

The perfect wedding photographers!
Chris and Rachel were lovely from the start of our contact with them, always with clear and prompt communication. We really felt like they tried to get to know us and our vision for our wedding. At both our engagement shoot and wedding, they really put us at ease, and we’re both camera shy so this was really appreciated. At the wedding, many guests said how friendly they were and added lots to the day more than just taking photos. Now we have our photos back, and they’re incredible - such a lovely reminder of the day and they really captured the joy and essence of our wedding. Thank you so much Chris and Rachel!

Cannot thank them enough!
Chris and Rachel were absolutely amazing. They walked us through the process from start to finish. They had chats over coffee and actually felt like friends by the end. Our day was captured in the most beautiful way - through love and friendship. Our guests cannot rave enough about them. Most of them say "Omg I don't even remember them being there to take that!". Chris and Rachel got every moment, listened to every request and did more than we could have asked for. Thank you so much to you both ❤️

Photographers? I think you mean friends for life!
Chris and Rachel were amazing and I’m so glad we chose them. Picking a photographer was one of the most daunting aspects for us but when we met Chris and Rachel we just knew they were the ones for us! They gave us great advice and guidance on how the day with them would play out and made sure we where fully comfortable with everything including my now husband who is not the most confident in front of the camera. They are so detailed orientated to make sure they knew what we wanted and truly felt they had our day at the top of their priority list every time we spoke. All communications were clear and frequent and we always got a response in a timely manner. The day itself they made truly unique and captured some truly amazing moments for our hobbit themed wedding day - they introduced themselves to family and friends and really mingled with everyone and definitely felt very much a part of the festivities and not just hovering around the edges which is what we loved. They also did a fantastic job handling our more eccentric members of the wedding party and the chaos that can be a wedding morning! Truly could not of asked for more and they will forever hold a special place in our lives for the time they spent with us - I hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we enjoyed our time with them, and they will always be honorary members of our fellowship!

Incredible
Just wow, such an incredible photographer! Extremely capable hands, I knew from the word go that every photograph would be amazing! From the video calls, pre wedding calls and meeting us at the church, I felt hugely reassured and excited to have Rachel and Chris as our photographers. Wedding pictures are an immensely important part of the day and I particularly enjoy displaying pictures in my house, so the talent and calm nature of Rachel and Chris meant the world to us. So many guests commented afterwards regarding how great the photographers were, they worked seamlessly to capture every important detail and moment. They really care and truly listen and are very efficient to the things that matter so much in the wedding process. I am obsessed with my photos and can't stop looking at them. We're absolutely spoilt for choice to even pick our top favourites.
Rachel and Chris remembered everything important we had said and were also flexible.
They couldn't give us enough of their time.
Chris is a flower button hole expert at this point too and Rachel is on hand always ready to throw a bridal gown train or to straighten a veil.

Amazing photographers!
The most incredible photographers that were so kind and professional throughout. Were so much more than just photographers, they were our timekeepers, organisers, dressers (when no one could do up my buttons) and friends! Would recommended to anyone planning a wedding. Really good at getting the natural candid shots that we didn’t even know they were taking. We haven’t even had all our pictures back yet but we know they are going to be amazing by the quality of the sneak peek ones we were sent the very next day. Thank you so much both of you!

The Best Photographers in the WORLD
Chris and Rachel are simply amazing! From the very start of reaching out to them through bride book we knew we’d chosen the best. From the first consultation right through to our big day nothing was too much trouble for them. We felt comfortable and were able to get to know Chris and Rachel in the run up to our day. When we met to take our pre engagement shots me and my now husband were nervous but those nerves disappeared very quickly, everything felt very natural and easy. Chris and Rachel did a great job getting to know our children so they felt comfortable in front of the camera and this shows in the amazing images they have captured of our kids on our wedding day. We gained two friends in the process of finding our photographers and they both slotted into our day perfectly. We had so many comments from our guests about how great they both were. Our photos capture perfectly the pure joy and good time had by everyone. I particularly love that after all that time talking to them about our copper decorations they made sure to include pictures of them both playing the buzz the wire game my husband spent weeks making. The service from Chris and Rachel is above and beyond and the quality of work is out of this world. To have our full gallery back within 3 weeks of our wedding was just incredible. Could never thank Chris and Rachel enough for everything ❤️

Better than we could have asked for !
When we were choosing our wedding photographer we were quite nervous. How do you know how to choose the people that are documenting the most important day of your life ! But straight from the get go Chris and Rachel made us feel comfortable . After having an initial video call, it was clear they weren't pushy, and they were willing to answer my many number of questions perfectly , and understood the vision of what we wanted to capture on the day.
We were sent a questionnaire closer to the wedding date , which not only helped with their own needs but also the schedule of the day etc for ourselves .
On the day they were both so helpful and welcoming, some guests were even surprised they weren't friends of ours personally.
The photos we received captured so much more than we could have imagined. We got a brilliant array of photos for our "Sneek peek" within 24 hours of the day , and i couldn't believe how amazing all our photos came out .
I don't think we'll ever be able to thank Chris and Rachel for the magic they managed to capture . The effort and work gone into everything they did for us is priceless ! We would recommend them to anyone looking to book a photographer.

The most incredible photographers, went above and beyond what we could have hoped for! Totally professional but also completely personal and approachable. Brilliant with communication, and always asking if we needed anything. Fast to process the photos, the quantity and the quality was incredible! Access to photos is safe, secure and easy to use. Absolutely perfect
I don't even know where to start about how amazing Chris and Rachel are! I knew instantly after our first chat that I needed them to photograph our wedding. By far the easiest choice in the whole process!! They are so caring and really listened to what we wanted but also gave us ideas we would never even dream of!! The engagement shoot was beautiful, and they are so relaxed they put you at ease (even me who usually hides from photographers). They were amazing with our 1 year old, who was even wanting to dance with rachel on the dance floor! By the end of the wedding day they didn't feel like hired photographers they felt like family friends! On the day my guests commented on how seamlessly they blended into the wedding with the other guests. They were quite simply - perfect!
