As a couple who don't have many photos of themselves, we were nervous about getting a wedding photographer. One thing we noted in recommendations for Andy was that he was a wedding photographer for people who don't like having their photos taken.

We can also attest to this fact as a lot of our guests were surprised with how many candid photos were taken without them realising!

He kept us updated throughout the process, his blog was really useful and he was really responsive with emails, answering any questions we had super quickly. His experience with weddings meant he was really helpful providing advice on how the day should run. He gave us an idea when key photography moments should be happening in the day and the most practical way to make sure they're captured well (his advice for the confetti shot helped it go smoothly).

What worked well for us is that he doesn't do a lot of formal photos and helped us narrow down the important family photos, so we were able to capture those moments without spending too long telling people where to stand in hot weather.

The turnaround for the online gallery was really prompt, and we were able to see all of the photos by the time we were back from the honeymoon. We adore our wedding photos- they truly captured the atmosphere of our special day!

We ordered a framed wedding album and two parent copies. Andy was helpful throughout the process, providing his recommended layout but was also open to our requests to change photos, which took the stress out of putting together a layout ourselves! We absolutely love our album and keep flicking through it, and the parent albums were very well received.

In our introductory call with Andy he advised the most important thing is having vendors you get on well with, and that is something we definitely got from Andy!

Andy was brilliant, relaxed helpful and well equipped with his bum bag full of emergency equipment ie tissues when the bride started crying. Thanks x You don’t notice him there and shoot’s really fabulous shots , that are relaxed and natural. We are overwhelmed with the photos as both myself and my husband do not like being centre of attention.
We would definitely recommend his services you will not be disappointed.

From the minute I met Andy, I knew he was the right photographer for us. I didn’t want the entire formal photos to be ‘Stand here, smile’ and get face ache. I did have some formals but most were natural, capture the moment photos. I’m waiting for the album, but I’ve no doubt it will be fantastic.

Andy was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. In the lead up he made sure to understand what we wanted from our wedding day and made sure to be on the same page as us about how the day would look and was quick to reply to emails. Then on our wedding day he was SUPER! He helped us to keep the day on schedule, was so helpful if we needed to ask him any questions, and made sure that all of our formal shots were done quickly but to a high standard. He was a big part of making us feel at ease on our wedding day while also getting some amazing shots. After, we didn't have to wait long either to receive our wedding pictures which we really appreciated. Genuinely, couldn't recommend enough!

I would absolutely recommend having Andy as your photographer. The whole booking process was super straight forward, Andy wasn’t pushy or a ‘salesman’ but instead he really cares about knowing as much as possible about you as a couple and figuring out if he is the right fit for the wedding. He kept in touch throughout the wedding planning process and made us feel super calm about the day.

On the day Andy was so friendly and made us feel completely at ease. Our guests loved him also! He was there to capture so many amazing moments but he also never imposed himself. When we first started looking for a wedding photographer we were drawn to how detailed and helpful Andy's website is - such as his availability calendar, transparency of pricing and packages on offer, plus his excellent video guides. Before we had even met Andy over Zoom we felt confident that he would capture the day in a natural and candid way whilst making us feel totally at ease. We opted for the top package that included full videos of our ceremony and speeches and were very impressed with the outcome of these which were also captured by Andy's assistant, Isabelle. This is likely to be the only time that so many of our family and friends are together in one place, so it was important that the biggest day of our lives was captured professionally and it's clear that Andy takes great pride in his work. Our experience with Andy was everything we could have hoped for from a wedding photographer.

From start to finish he was friendly, professional and quick to respond whenever we needed to ask him something.

Andy was brilliant on the day; he helped everyone relax and his candid style of photography worked really well, even though we had an intimate wedding with a small number of guests.
Due to personal circumstances, flexibility with some of the evening timings was required and Andy was happy to accommodate, which we really appreciated.

We're over the moon with how the photos turned out and everyone has commented on how he really managed to capture the emotion/happiness of the day!
The photofilm was also really well put together and, along with the photos, is a wonderful memento of the wedding.

We're hoping to hold a bigger wedding reception for extended family in a few years' time and we'll definitely be reaching out to him again for that!

As a photographer in my previous career getting the correct photographer for our wedding day was one my top priorities.

We had a small intimate wedding of only 12 in total and we were looking for someone who would be able to capture the closeness and family bond within our little unit. Andy's documentary style fit this bill perfectly.

Throughout the build up to the day Andy kept in constant contact. Even when an unplanned pregnancy was thrown into the mix. Andy was there to help when my pregnancy brain failed me and I was forgetting small details.

On the day itself Andy was amazing. He was brilliant with our small children and everyone felt totally at ease. The only way I can think to describe him is as a fly on the wall. Observering everything and capturing even the tiniest details of the day. Never missing an opportunity for the perfect, meaningful and emotive shot.
Even in the rain and blustery cold winds Andy went out of his way to capture our outdoor shots.
Andy also kept both myself (bride) and groom up to date on anything that was happening that might of been slightly out of plan. He made sure there was no stress on either of us and had eyes and ears on everything. Even when I was worried about my children, he knew exactly who's arms they were safely in to reassure me.

The gallery itself is beautiful and a credit to Andy and his artform. With every photograph you can see the thought that has gone into the shot and how much he does truly love what he does.

I cannot fault a single thing.

Booking Andy as our photographer was one of the BEST choices we made when planning our wedding. Not only is Andy professional and so friendly, he is also so helpful with everything, nothing was to much.
We only had such a small wedding but Andy still made just as much effort as if it was a big wedding, everyone kept commenting on how helpful and friendly Andy was.
The photos he captured are beautiful and we will cherish them for a life time!
