As a couple who don't have many photos of themselves, we were nervous about getting a wedding photographer. One thing we noted in recommendations for Andy was that he was a wedding photographer for people who don't like having their photos taken.

We can also attest to this fact as a lot of our guests were surprised with how many candid photos were taken without them realising!

He kept us updated throughout the process, his blog was really useful and he was really responsive with emails, answering any questions we had super quickly. His experience with weddings meant he was really helpful providing advice on how the day should run. He gave us an idea when key photography moments should be happening in the day and the most practical way to make sure they're captured well (his advice for the confetti shot helped it go smoothly).

What worked well for us is that he doesn't do a lot of formal photos and helped us narrow down the important family photos, so we were able to capture those moments without spending too long telling people where to stand in hot weather.

The turnaround for the online gallery was really prompt, and we were able to see all of the photos by the time we were back from the honeymoon. We adore our wedding photos- they truly captured the atmosphere of our special day!

We ordered a framed wedding album and two parent copies. Andy was helpful throughout the process, providing his recommended layout but was also open to our requests to change photos, which took the stress out of putting together a layout ourselves! We absolutely love our album and keep flicking through it, and the parent albums were very well received.

In our introductory call with Andy he advised the most important thing is having vendors you get on well with, and that is something we definitely got from Andy!

Andy's process is immensely detailed whilst being easy to navigate. As most peoples weddings are their first (!) it can be a bit of a minefield. Andy has an established process using video calls, pre-recorded instruction videos and a detailed FAQs page to help get through all the unknown.

On the day, Andy isn't just the photographer but also like an adviser for the day, very well versed in the order of the day and helps you make the most of it. As a groom, he was a calming presence and fit in great with me and the best men while we were getting prepped for the day. At the top of the aisle, he directed me and the rest of the wedding party so we were always in the right spot.

The end product is authentic, honest and super high quality. The photos captured really show the reality of the day, and we've looked back over them hundreds of times since the big day!

Would recommend Andy to anyone who will listen - really good bloke and so glad we chose him for the day.

Andy has been absolutely fantastic from the first email to looking at our photos for the first time. He was extremely calm on the morning of my wedding which was helpful as I am a generally anxious person. He blended seamlessly into the background of our wedding which made it easy to almost forget we were having our photos taken. I absolutely adore our photos and will treasure them always. I am a plus size woman and he really made sure to get the better angles as well as making me feel comfortable all the time. He was easy to get along and joke around with. The quality of our photos is next level they're amazing. He noticed lots of little details that I didn't even realise he was taking photos of them which were a nice surprise when we got our photos back. His style of photography is perfect for people who don't love being infront of the camera and/ or prefer a more candid approach to the day. He was always in the background rather than taking loads of posed photos which I much preferred as an introverted person. I wanted the photographs to represent the actual day and not be a performance. We definitely achieved that so thank you Andy!

Andy has a knack for capturing special moments in a way that feels natural without a hint of cringe! He made us feel totally comfortable and relaxed – and usually we are very camera shy.
He is a truly talented photographer and somehow managed to go unnoticed when weaving through the crowds. The images are an exceptional quality and he has captured guests, the venue and the mood of the day beautifully.

After seeing another couples pictures at our venue we just fell in love with Andy’s work and knew we had to have him capture our day and we were not disappointed! Everything Andy did was incredible we had guests say to us after seeing the photos how beautiful and natural they were. He never once asked people to pose (not his nor our style either!) he was there but you almost forgot at times as he was never in your face with a camera. If you want someone to capture the raw true emotions of the day then Andy is the one! He made us feel very comfortable and kept in touch with us with every step of getting our images back, which by the way was so quick compared to a lot of other people! We waited 31/2 weeks and I had friends wait 12 weeks from others photographers! Honestly can not recommend him enough. We over ran slightly and he stayed that extra time no extra cost, no moaning. He had to help direct drunk people with sparklers to be able to get our sparkler pictures. Even our little ones who don’t often take well to people they don’t know thought he was, in the words of a 3 year old “nice man with a camera and Santa beard”

Andy captured our wedding back in August so beautifully. We had a very small and intimate wedding but even with fewer people round he managed to blend in so naturally with all our guests. The photos he captured were truly spectacular and he got all the magical moments of people truly enjoying them selves! If you’re looking for someone to capture those truly natural moments then I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so much Andy for everything! You really were amazing!

So pleased with Andy’s style and the final pictures. We got exactly what we were hoping for.
