Lucy Bowen is a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Lincolnshire, capturing weddings across the UK and beyond.
Her approach is relaxed, natural, and story-led, focusing on genuine moments, real emotion, and all the beautiful in-between details that make each wedding unique. Lucy is passionate about capturing the authentic emotions of a wedding day — the happy tears, uncontrollable laughter, quiet glances, warm embraces, and all the moments that happen naturally when people feel comfortable and fully present.
She believes wedding photographs should feel honest, timeless, and meaningful — never overly posed or forced. Her aim is to help couples feel completely at ease so they can enjoy every moment of their day while she documents it as it naturally unfolds.
Alongside the big moments, Lucy pays close attention to the people who matter most. From proud grandparents watching from the sidelines to playful interactions with nieces and nephews, she understands how valuable these memories become over time. Bank transfers with Pay monthly options.
A deposit is required on the day of the booking and the remaining balance is usually paid by the customer at least one week prior to their wedding

I work in a way that instantly makes the couple feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photographs are not forced or overly posed rather they are natural and relaxed

Incredible photos - We couldn’t recommend Lucy more!
Lucy is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an amazing person and felt like a friend by the end of our wedding. We are over the moon with our wedding photographs and Lucy totally understood our vision of whimsical forest and natural photographs - they truly turned out as the photographs of our dreams! Lucy also made our engagement shoot really fun and she was so creative with her ideas (from getting us both to ride a bike through the forest and playing some Taylor Swift to help us feel relaxed!). We loved our memory stick box of photos and mini polaroid prints from our engagement shoot. We couldn't recommend Lucy more for your wedding day, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Lucy!

From finding Lucy and falling in love with her style of photos she listened to exactly what we wanted for our big day making sure the big moments and the candid inbetween were caught. Lucy is friendly, professional and has amazing attention to detail, she regularly kept in contact with us since booking almost 2 years prior. We even did an engagement shoot 6 months before our big day to help be less camera shy which I would highly recommend to anyone. Throughout our wedding Lucy was always on hand to capture every moment and all of our guests went out of their way to let us know how good Lucy is. We’re so happy with our pictures and memories we now have to look back on from these special moments in our life.

Amazing wedding photographer!!
Lucy photographed our wedding back in September and was amazing from start to finish. I looked at a few wedding photographers while planning our wedding but Lucy was 100% the right choice for us. She was extremely professional and kept in regular contact in the lead up to the wedding and afterwards. She was very flexible and open to any ideas we had she really got our vibe and ran with it. She was amazing on the day and at times we barely knew she was there. When it came to couple shots Lucy was amazing at telling us what to do and getting us to trust the process. We love our wedding photos and are so glad we have such an amazing album to look back on for years to come!!

AMAZING photos and an all round great experience
We booked Lucy for our wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She really listened to what we wanted in our consultations and she was a great help and person to be around on the wedding day. Our pictures are beautiful and we love them so much!! I would definitely recommend booking with Lucy!

Most amazing pictures!!!
Lucy is just amazing!
Right from the beginning, she was friendly and responsive to what we were looking for. We didn't really know what we wanted and Lucy was happy to give us ideas to get that happily ever after shot!
Throughout the day, Lucy was just lovely! She managed to be everywhere at once, capturing all the moments that we, as the bride and groom, were too distracted to notice. She was full of energy and genuine happiness, helping us along the way!
Lucy, on the way to the venue, saw the most amazing field of wildflowers. She drove us there to capture some more private moments. These pictures are without a doubt some of my favourite pictures ever! Without Lucy, we would never have them.
All of this, and the quality of the pictures are incredible!

Beautiful Pictures
Lucy was so brilliant as our wedding photographer! We had a very laid back wedding and were quite vague with our requests but she went above and beyond to capture all of our special moments throughout the day and got some really really beautiful pictures of our family and friends that we love! She was friendly and easy going and put a lot of effort into her work. I would 100% recommend her!

Lucy is a beautiful person, who takes even more beautiful photos! The level of attention and respect she gives during her shoots is incredible. She really listens to what you want, and pays attention to the bits that matter most to you! She remains very professional, but also she is down to earth so makes you and your loved ones feel at ease during your shoot. Lucy takes a good amount of photos, with a very wide variety. Each picture is wonderfully unique and detailed, capturing the moment perfectly! Even on a wet, dull day like ours, Lucy made our photos bright and cheerful, as if it never rained, but still maintaining some moody vibes.
Truly a fantastic photographer, we would 100% use her again, and would strongly recommend!
