He was so fantastic on our wedding day bringing a calm presence and even helped with tying laces on my dad’s shoes to bringing a nervous bride a cup of coffee. I really can't recommend Jess enough if you're thinking of using her for your wedding - she was absolutely amazing! She was so communicative from the moment we booked her and just completely put us at ease throughout the whole process. She really listened to our ideas of what we wanted for our couple and group shots and the group shots were so efficient on the day which was really important to us as it meant we could spend more time with our guests whilst still coming out with incredible photos. She made us feel so at ease during the photos and everyone commented on how lovely she was as well, it really just felt like she was our friend at the wedding who was also taking photos! Within 24 hours we had some beautiful sneak peak photos which were amazing to be able to show our family and friends and made us even more excited to get the rest of the photos. All our photos that we received were absolutely perfect, we were over the moon with them. They captured so many special moments where we hadn’t even noticed they were there and every time we look at the photos we notice more and more wonderful things about them. We have a digital photo frame in our house so we can look at them every day, they're so special! We initially only booked Jess but in the end we decided closer to the time to book a second photographer, recommended by Jess. He was also amazing and we were so pleased we had two as it meant we could get lots of different angles from the day. Thanks again Jess! xx

What can we say Derryn was truly amazing on our wedding day! We first spoke to and hired Derryn two years ago to capture our engagement photos. At the time, it was something completely new for myself and Daniel, and we definitely didn’t consider ourselves photogenic people. Derryn was so relaxed and bubbly, picked the perfect spots for photos, and by the end of the shoot we were completely comfortable and didn’t even notice everyone around us. Our engagement photos were just perfect, and from that moment we knew we had to hire Derryn for our wedding when the time came. Planning our wedding was incredibly important to us, especially as we were having a Harry Potter themed wedding. We wanted to make sure we hired someone who understood us, the magic of the theme, and the little details that made our day unique and Derryn definitely exceeded every expectation we had. Throughout the entire process, Sam and Derryn were kind, supportive, and incredibly organised. Sam always reached out at important moments during our planning, which we really appreciated. Wedding planning definitely wasn’t easy for us, especially with changing the venue multiple times and moving the date, but Sam was always quick to help and update any details. It never felt like we were just another booking to them. Sam and Derryn are two of the loveliest people, and they truly care about your day. On our wedding day, Derryn was calm, relaxed, and spoke to pretty much everyone, which made the whole day feel even more special. He made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, allowing us to just be ourselves and enjoy every moment. Even though we had an idea of what to expect, it was still so helpful having Derryn gently guide us throughout the day. What we appreciated most was how beautifully Derryn captured the feeling of the day. He didn’t just photograph the big moments, but also the tiny magical ones we didn’t even realise were happening, the quiet emotional glances, the laughter between friends, the proud smiles from family, and all the little in between moments that make a wedding so special. He always spoke to us about the next photos he had planned and made sure we were happy with everything. Through the photos, they truly told the story of our day. We also received so many compliments from our guests throughout the day, and even now about how lovely and amazing Derryn was. He was full of energy and seemed to be everywhere, capturing absolutely everything. Sam kept us updated about our sneak peek, our photos, and our highlight film, which we really appreciated. When we finally received our gallery, we were completely overwhelmed in the best possible way. Looking through the photos felt like stepping back into the day again, every emotion, every laugh, and every happy tear. They captured every bit of magic that was happening and even highlighted all the beautiful Harry Potter details that meant so much to us. These photographs and films are something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. They didn’t just capture photos they captured memories, feelings, and moments that we’ll be able to relive forever. If you’re looking for a photographer who is full of energy, will move/climb over tables, go out in the rain, and even climb in trees just to capture the most beautiful pictures, then Derryn is the one for you. He is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely passionate about the couples he works with. We truly couldn’t recommend Sam and Derryn more. Icarus Photography provided an outstanding service on the day. We had a number of locations around Bath we were keen to use. All of which they accommodated, while suggesting many more we wouldn't have thought of. Very friendly whilst also very professional. Images were received shortly after the photo shoot and we were very happy with the results. We would definitely recommend them

We loved our wedding footage and pictures! The team was friendly and very flexible with us.

Dan was great! He managed to capture beautiful, candid, documentary style photos of nearly all of our guests! We were really nervous about having our photos taken, but Dan encouraged us to be ourselves and we got gorgeous natural couples shots as a result. He was super responsive to any and all questions, both before and after the wedding. We received our photo gallery really quickly too. If you want a natural style of wedding photography- we cannot recommend Dan highly enough!

The whole experience from meeting Graham to our completed wedding album exceeded our expectations. His attention to detail was exemplary from shot composition to delivery of our high quality album! A pre wedding visit to take some photos and look around the venue was also included. We wanted natural shots throughout the day as well as posed group photos and that’s exactly what we received. He was with us on the day from early morning getting ready to our wedding dance. Couldn’t have got a better service than we got!

Nicky photographed our wedding back in May and was absolutely amazing. I hate having my photo taken generally and much prefer to be taking photos but Nicky made us both feel at ease. Nicky's style of photos is absolutely beautiful and really captured the colourfulness of our wedding and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for everything on the day and after!

My husband and I are from Canada, and when we had to move our original wedding date because we were expecting our daughter, Al couldn’t have been more accommodating. He was prompt and professional in every correspondence and really took the time to understand the style of photos we wanted.
