Wedding Catering in Somerset

Pollock Bay provided oysters for our wedding in the New Forest in September 2024. We had great communication with the team in advance and the team on the day were brilliant and dealt with the (very) damp conditions with no fuss. The oysters were delicious and went down a treat with our guests. I’d definitely recommend Porlock Bay.

We were incredibly privileged to have Anastasia and her team from Blackberry and Bay Catering handle the catering for our wedding. Having enjoyed her amazing culinary skills at previous events when she was the head chef at The Full Spoon, we knew we were in for something special—but she truly exceeded all expectations. The food was simply incredible! Every canapé was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, and all our guests have since raved about how it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The quality and attention to detail were second to none. Anastasia’s passion for what she does shines through in every aspect, and her team’s professionalism made the entire experience stress-free and memorable. We honestly wish we could do it all over again just to experience the food once more! If you're looking for exceptional wedding catering, we highly recommend Blackberry and Bay Catering. They truly made our day unforgettable. We hope to book in another lunch event soon!

Alfresco catering supplied not only our wedding catering but also our marquee, bar, tables, lights and many other details making our wedding day perfect. We wanted a big family bbq feel to our wedding and the food was so good with a great choice for every guest. Our evening food was nachos and we still have guests complimenting us on these! Tony was so helpful throughout the planning process making wedding planning that bit easier. Every idea we had Tony was able to help make it a reality. Thank you so much to Tony and his team for a great day. I would highly recommend for any events you are planning.

Highly recommend sticky dates! Nickies food was absolutely delicious when she catered for our wedding of 100 people in November. From the canapés to mains to dessert… all amazing! She was a pleasure to work with during the run up to our wedding!

From the first consultation to the last bite, Ludacrust demonstrated kindness and attention to detail. Jumper handled lactose-free pizza requirements with grace, helping us plan our dream wedding. The thoughtful provision of lactose-free options made the day seamless one of our number didn't declare they were lactose intolerant but Jumper had brought some lactose-free cheese "just in case". The staff at the wedding were not just helpful but genuinely nice. Our guests were stuffed, and the comments on the excellent food kept pouring in. Ludacrust, you made our day extraordinary - my new Husband and I even had some cold pizza for breakfast because the team put some pizzas aside for us at the end of the night!

We first came across the guys that run twisted spirits at one of their pop-ups in Devon. Our friends explained that they used to run a restaurant in town, which I was told was one of the best in the area- I'm not surprised after visiting their event. The venue was beautifully decorated with bunting zigzagging across the garden, disco balls and fairy lights. They had a DJ playing some funky music and everyone in the venue seemed there was nowhere else they'd rather be. The food was truly delicious, fresh, fragrant and full of spices and herbs. The service was relaxed and super friendly, big smiles all-round and what a pleasure it is to be served by people who clearly love what they do! OH and the cocktails!! We've now been in dicsussions with the team about catering for my daughters wedding, spring 2024 so I will update my review for then but everything has been fabulous so far. They're so passionate about what they do, they've created the most delicious menu with my daughter and son-in-law to be and we are so looking forward to the big day. Where do I start with this review? I found this company on a website as I was looking for suppliers for my wedding for 9th September 2023. Marilena was very quick & responsive. Immediately provided me with the quote & breakdown of what they can offer. I wanted to book this as a wedding gift to my husband as he is a big gelato fanatic and has a huge craze for gelato. Marilena asked us to pick the 6 flavours we wanted to be served on our wedding day, in doing so we went to visit them at the tobacco factory where they kindly offered us a taste test. We were immediately blown away!!! My partner & I both said it was THE BEST gelato we’ve ever tasted EVER! Picking the flavours was the hardest part. Our personal favourites were the Bo Bom Cremino & the Fior Di Menta (lemon & mint, tastes like a mojito!). We had arranged for the gelato stand to be served during drinks/canapés reception and lucky we did, turned out to be the hottest day of the year! Luca did a TREMENDOUS job as he had a massive queue circulating the whole garden! Luca makes all of gelato himself from scratch which is why it tastes so different. We were very impressed but the reviews from our guests were even better! All of our guests raved that it was the best gelato they had ever tasted and everyone wants to hire them for all future events! Luca & Marilena, thank you for making our day so special!!

Hey there, amazing bar team! I just had to drop you a line to say a massive thank you for making our wedding party an absolute blast! Seriously, you guys totally rocked it, and I can't stop gushing about the incredible experience you provided. The cocktails you whipped up were amazing. And those chili margaritas? They were such a hit! The perfect balance of heat and tang, they had everyone talking. I'm pretty sure they'll go down in history as the highlight of the night. Beyond the drinks, your team's service was next level. You were all so friendly, professional, and downright awesome. You kept the drinks flowing, the smiles going, and made sure everyone felt like they were having the time of their lives. My wife and I were lucky enough to have sunflower kitchen cater for our wedding. After talking her through the vague ideas of what we wanted, Phoebe designed the most incredible 3-course menu encompassing all the aspects we'd asked for. On the day, Phoebe and her team provided amazing service throughout the day, and beauitfully authentic middle Eastern cuisine for our guests. We cannot recommend sunflower kitchen's service enough.

They accommodated everything I wanted for my wedding with an attitude of willingness and nothing was too difficult for them. They found my small details just as important as I did. The food was mouthwatering and presented beautifully. They served canapés with a smile and were dressed very smart. Guests gave nothing but compliments. They really made the day special and I will most definitely be using their services again. Great attitude from all the staff; happy, polite, accommodating, professional. All round quality service from genuine people, an absolute delight and joy to deal with.
