When our original photographer pulled out I thought we were doomed to find a replacement but Derryn being available turned out to be one of the best wedding decisions we made. He went above and beyond to photograph our wedding. When you see these weddings in magazines as beautiful as they are they always seem a bit staged what Derryn managed to do with our day was truly capture the joy, love and laughter that we shared on our day with our nearest and dearest. After the wedding we heard two things from our guests 1)how much they enjoyed the wedding and 2) just how brilliant Derryn was and that was before even seeing a single photo. From a single day Derryn has given us a lifetime of memories and I simply can't stop looking at our photos. Thank you doesn't feel enough to show just how grateful we are for what he did for us.

Derryn was recommended through a friend, and he took some beautiful engagement shots of us a couple of years before we got married. We loved the style of his photography, professionalism and the fact he put us totally at ease.
For our wedding, we had a meeting prior to discuss what we wanted and he visited the venue with us so he could have a look at the best locations.
On the day we were not blessed with the weather, but Derryn made the most of the small amount of time we got outside, and also got lots of beautiful indoor shots aswell. We worked so hard on the day to ensure we got all the group and couples photos we wanted.

Choosing your wedding photographer can be an overwhelming journey to embark on, we used hitched and saw a range of portfolios but Derryn’s immediately stood out to us.
Derryn was kind enough to accommodate us within a budget that worked for all of us. We were invited to join a team’s call with Derryn, where we talked about the venue and our ideal photography day, but also about each other. It was at this point that we felt immediately at ease, we knew that we could approach Derryn and his Fiancée Sam with any question or proposition and they would be understanding.
Closer to our wedding date, Derryn made helpful suggestions using his expert knowledge which were really helpful in planning our day!
On our wedding day, Derryn arrived and it honestly felt like he was part of the family! His calm, positive and friendly nature was a welcome addition to my pre-ceremony nerves! With every compliment and word of reassurance, he somehow managed to make me feel at ease.
Throughout the day, he was a god send for time keeping, as well as capturing our photos it’s as if he double act’s as your wedding organiser too! Ensuring everyone is where they need to be and when, this was so very appreciated! We were sad to see him leave after shooting our day, he really did become part of our furniture and everyone LOVED him! Had he not of had a wonderful Fiancé, a baby and a dog at home, we would have invited him to stay for a drink and some evening food, we enjoyed his company that much!
We received multiple compliments on the days after the wedding asking where we booked our photographer, expressing their gratitude for his work on the day and that he was so kind and funny.
