Raw, documentary wedding photography and films
- I shoot raw, documentary wedding photography and films — no posing, nothing staged. I cover Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Somerset.
- The day stays calm and honest, not a production. Real emotion and genuine atmosphere carry the photos and film — I capture exactly how your wedding felt.
- Most of the day is shot naturally, without direction. Family groups are still organised quickly and efficiently, and couple portraits stay relaxed rather than posed, so you're straight back to the party.
- Book photography and film together and one person shoots the whole day, so the photos and film match. The films are built from real audio and movement — speeches and natural reactions, not a scripted voiceover.

On the day, he was so easy to have around and we hardly noticed he was there, but he somehow captured everything! The photos are incredible and feel so natural, with lots of lovely candid moments alongside the group shots we wanted. They really capture the atmosphere and memories of the day rather than feeling overly staged or cheesy.

Amazing wedding photographer

Amazing documentary style photographer ⭐
We came across Pete through Hitched when frantically trying to find a photographer with two weeks notice -our photographer we had booked for a year let us down last minute. I'm a believer in things happening for a reason and with coming across Pete and him happening to have a September Saturday unbooked, I believe my theory to be correct.
Pete slotted into our day and plans so seamlessly. On the run up, he was incredibly easy to get in touch with, super professional and he visited the location a few days before to familiarise himself with the area (Bath City centre) so he could make recommendations on the day. We got married during the Jane Austen festival , so Bath was very busy but he took this in our stride , making myself and the wedding party feel so special. During the day, it didn't feel like Pete was really there - he moved around the venues and around us as a couple. Meaning we could be ourselves and be present - which was really important to us. He was such a key part of the day with friends and family also commenting on how lovely he was and he genuinely felt like a guest with a camera who just happened to capture the most wonderful moments.
We're beyond happy with the result . Pete managed to capture the day so beautifully , capturing the day exactly as we remembered it while capturing moments we didn't notice.

The best candid photographer
I found Peter when I was looking for a photographer for our intimate celebration but no one else met the brief. From the moment I saw his online gallery I knew he was the right photographer for us. We wanted to spend the day enjoying every moment and not worry at all about getting the "right" photo, it turns out that with the right photographer you don't have to sacrifice either. Peter is that photographer!
Before the wedding we had a call to discuss what we wanted from the day and logistics, Peter helped calm our nerves about having photos which didn't seem natural. On the day he was there very early and spent the whole day with us, he captured the day exactly as we remember it. He sent over the first few photos within a week of the day and the rest in only three weeks. I love every single one. Thank you Peter.

Wonderful videos that showcased the emotions of our wedding day
Peter was a great wedding videographer and captured so many beautiful moments throughout our day. What really stood out was how perfectly he managed to reflect the personality, emotion, and atmosphere of the wedding in the final video. He creatively clipped together different parts of the day to create a video that felt natural, emotional, and truly special to watch back.
He was also extremely professional from start to finish and blended seamlessly into the background, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed while still capturing all the important moments. We’re so grateful to have such meaningful keepsake videos of our wedding day and would recommend Peter to anyone.

100% recommend - just perfect for our day!
Peter couldn't have been more perfect for our day. From the moment we met him we knew we were in safe hands. He instantly made us feel relaxed and at ease.
He got some incredibly natural shots without us even knowing he was there, even our guests commented on this.
We got our 'group shots' done nice and quickly which was what we wanted, and then he guided us throughout the shots which he thought would be important to get. This was brilliant advice he gave as we had no idea the kind of photos we needed in the morning (father's first look, mother putting on my jewelry etc.). He even took the time to tie my husband's tie!
He also worked really closely with the staff at the venue, making sure he was able to make the most of where we were.
We are so grateful for everything he did for us, and would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely Amazing
Peter was the perfect photographer for our wedding!! He captured moments we missed and moments we saw, he made everyone in the wedding party feel completely at easy. The photos were perfect a mixture of traditional and candid. He took what we asked for and did above and beyond! Highly recommended!!!!!!
