We had the best day celebrating our wedding at Bartley Lodge! It still feels like a little bit of a hidden gem for weddings but understandably it is getting more popular. There was a wedding the day before and day after ours, but we didn’t feel like we were on a conveyor belt like a few other places we had viewed. Everything was still about our day and Charley and the team made us feel so special. Communication has always been brilliant and any query answered quickly via email. We also had a long meeting with Charley about 6 weeks before the day and went through all our plans and the whole day step by step so we knew what to expect and what was happening when. The venue was brilliant because all of our guests were travelling for the wedding so we were able to have lots of them stay over and it was close to Southampton airport which was ideal. Huge carpark is also a bonus. It’s a beautiful setting, all of our photos have such a stunning background. In addition, the Charles Lyall suite was fabulous for getting ready in, and the photos look lovely, we fit a bride, bridesmaids, hair and makeup stylists plus others and it wasn’t crowded. The food that was served was fantastic. We’ve had lots of guests praising the food, especially the canapés and evening bbq! Overall, we are so so pleased we found this venue, I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else.
