I couldn’t recommend booking Tenuta Di Rota enough. We had the most incredible week with 50 of our closest family and friends. The villa and grounds are breathtaking and large enough to host guests in various apartments close by. Elena is so accommodating and met our every need. The location is perfect, whilst private it is also close to Florence, the shopping outlet and many beautiful vineyards. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and will definitely be revisiting!

Choosing Casa Borgo al Vento for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. Our experience, and that of our guests, was more magical and fun than we ever could have imagined. If you are considering this place for your wedding or even just a visit for a night or a week, you will have experienced a true gem. For those who are unable to visit in person beforehand, we can say with full confidence that this is a venue you can trust to deliver an exceptional experience. The property itself is absolutely majestic. The winery is also a gorgeous and charming hotel with spacious, beautiful rooms. Every detail felt perfect. The staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and always available to help with any request. Their professionalism and warmth made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. The food was nothing short of amazing—a true taste of authentic Tuscan cuisine, and the wine was equally delicious. The celebration kicked off with a delightful pizza party. Fresh pizzas came directly from a wood-fired oven while our guests mingled on the patios, sipping on the amazing wine. To top off a perfect first night, a gelato truck arrived, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. On the day of the wedding, we had a relaxing day with friends and family by the pool. With three pools to choose from, we spent most of our time at the large one, soaking in the sun and enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan vineyards. A huge part of the success of our wedding was due to the incredible team of vendors, all of whom were recommended by the owner, Francesco. He was so helpful, providing us with fantastic names like the talented photographer Sergio Cattini, our music coordinator Michele, and of course, the truly amazing wedding planner Cristina Mancini. Francesco also helped by connecting us to Roberto Bellaccini to arrange shuttles for our guests coming from Florence, which made everything seamless. Thank you, Casa Borgo al Vento, for making our wedding the most beautiful, memorable day we could have ever hoped for. We had the best time, and so did all of our guests.

I honestly don’t think we could’ve chosen a better venue. When we first started planning, we were completely overwhelmed (in the best way) - there are so many venues out there now. We must have looked at hundreds online before narrowing it down and flying out to Italy to view six in person. And then we found Sorgnano… and it just ticked every single box. Not only is it absolutely stunning, with the most breathtaking views, a gorgeous Plan B option inside (which is just as beautiful as outside), and the ability to have all of our guests stay together in one place, which was really important to us. To add to that, because of how perfectly tucked away and peaceful Sorgnano is, that was never an issue - we could actually relax and enjoy the party without watching the clock. But as incredible as the venue itself is, what really made the whole experience was Marco. We planned everything over two years from the UK, and having him there throughout was an actual godsend. No question was ever too small (and I asked a lot), and he was always so responsive, helpful, and genuinely kind. You can just tell he really cares. We visited three times in total, first to see the venue, then for our food tasting (which was unreal), and finally for the wedding itself, and every single time it just felt better and better. By the time the wedding came around, we felt so comfortable and looked after, which made such a difference. Our guests are still talking about it. The whole two days, not just the wedding - how amazing the whole experience was, how out-of-this-world the food was (special mention to the truffle pasta, which I think about regularly), and just how beautiful the setting is. What really stood out was the flexibility, the ease of communication, and how supported we felt the entire time. Planning a wedding abroad could have been stressful, but they made it feel so easy and so enjoyable. It never ever felt transactional, it felt like they genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. And they gave us exactly that. We’d choose Sorgnano (and Marco) a million times over 🤍

Giorgio and the meet were brilliant from start to finish. The venue is amazing, we fell in love with it the moment we got there to view it. The views are breathtaking. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble and everyone was very friendly. It was lovely getting to meet all of Giorgio's family. The food is outstanding: the Tuscan welcome meal and the antipasti on the terrace before the wedding were out of this world! Grazie mille

Me and my partner had our wedding at Agriturismo Poggio del Bolognino this September and it was perfect! We really had our dream wedding! The accommodation was perfect (the rooms and the pool, the whole outside area), the scenery was unbelievable, the food was great and Giulia was a wonderful and helpful host! All our guests were absolutely in love with the place and they said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. You can see Giulia’s love and dedication for what she does in everything. We couldn’t recommend it more!

June 2024 our dreams became reality when we had our wedding at Il Poggio alle Ville. Thanks to the beautiful location and amazing team of Il Poggio we had the best wedding we could imagine. Rafaelle was extremely helpfull and kind. The food was some of the best we've had in all of our trips to Italy!

When booking a destination wedding, the biggest fear is the unknown of what type of service each venue truly provides. There are beautiful venues all over the world, but it is the team behind the venue that is what makes weddings truly special. The team at Castello Di Montignano set the gold standard for this. We identified a short list of venues and Guiseppe's team responded immediately with incredible attention to detail. We instantly trusted them. We were told we would be the King and Queen of the castle and there was not one single point where we did not feel like this. Often people asked us about the stress of planning a destination wedding…in all honesty, with this team it was easy. Clear, honest and transparent communication was provides at all times. This relieved us of all stress associated to planning and executing a destination wedding. The food and wine tasting trip is the most magical reason for pre-wedding long weekend…everything comes to life when you meet this amazing team in person and explore the venue for the first time. Eva, David and the entire team held our hand at all times when completing the wedding technical document and structuring our dream wedding. No request was ever too much to ask…which was pretty crazy considering they had on average of 3 weddings a week there from April onwards! Planning is one thing, execution is another. It was flawless. If there was even the slightest hiccup (it’s a 3 day wedding, there will always be some type of late drama!) David was on hand to iron it out immediately. We had a small hiccup with the band that we selected and David and Eva jumped in immediately to let my Wife and I focus on our big day. The whole team spoilt us and our guests. Feedback from our guests was that it was the wedding of the year. There is an aura of energy at Castello Di Montagano that just makes it impossible to not have fun and create the most magical memories. Thank you Guiseppe, Eva, David and the entire team, we cannot wait to visit for an anniversary year or perhaps even a big birthday celebration sometime in the future…. P.S when they say you can ask for anything you want, they REALLY mean it! Also, if you are contemplating the fireworks….just do it.

We stayed for 2 days in Lilla romantic suite and had our small wedding celebration in Palazzo Pascal. We had really great time there and are happy that we've chosen Palazzo Pascal for our special day! Hotel itself has beautifully decorated and well maintained interior & suits. Outside area offers a lot of privacy, lots of greenery & history and of course most stunning views. It's located on a hilltop near old church opening a view on the whole cost line. We also had a huge terrace in our suite that was a great place for breakfast / dinner just 2 of us. The hotel is rather small so we had lots of privacy during our stay and we also benefited from a lot of personal attention from all the stuff. Everything looks even better in a real life vs pictures on their website! We also loved their kitchen both for breakfast and as well all the dished we selected for our celebration night. Lots of variety in the menu, fresh ingredients and all delicious. Last but not least and what in fact made our stay really special are all employees working at Palazzo Pascal. No request was impossible for them and it was extremely handy to communicate via WhatsApp during the day while we were offsite to make all the arrangements. We didn't feel like we are in a hotel but rather that we came to celebrate wedding with our big Italian family. Thank you so much for benignly so warmly welcoming! Special regards to Gesualdo who was our event manager at Palazzo Pascal. We have sent our event brief to many hotels on Amalfi coast and Gesualdo was one of a few people to reply very personally understanding our needs vs generic responses most of the hotels sent. This was one of the main reasons we selected Palazzo Pascal to plan our celebration and it was the best choice to make! Gesualdo was always patient with us constantly changing things up until the last moment, adding some special requests and small details and we never heard NO. He was always flexible and genuinely helping to tailor this day and make it unforgettable for us starting from planning stage up until we left the hotel. Thank you so much Gesualdo we are so lucky to have you organising everything! We are looking forward to coming back to Palazzo Pascal for our anniversary and we hope to see all the familiar faces again!

We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, everyone was completely wowed by how picturesque and stunning this place is; rolling Tuscan hills as far as the eye can see, breathtaking sunsets, and that classic rustic Italian charm you hope for when planning a wedding in Italy. The venue produces its own wine and the infinity pool overlooking the hills is absolutely gorgeous and made for the most wonderful pool party to finish the celebrations. One of the biggest advantages for us was the on-site accommodation; around 65 guests were able to stay right at the venue in quaint, beautiful rustic apartments. Not having to organise transport for everyone made the whole experience so much more relaxed. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish, and there are so many different options for event spaces. We loved having the flexibility to move between areas throughout the celebrations. The cellar was amazing for the after-party and kept the celebrations going late into the night. There’s also a small church on-site for anyone wanting a traditional ceremony, which is such a special option to have. For larger weddings, the adjacent villa (separate from the main venue) is a fantastic bonus and provides extra space and accommodation. There’s also a lovely little Airbnb at the bottom of the hill with even more rooms, plus an excellent restaurant that our guests really enjoyed. Another huge plus is the location, approx an hours drive south of Florence and only five minutes from a beautiful traditional Italian town (Castellina in Chianti) filled with great shops, bars, and restaurants. It gave our guests plenty to explore while still feeling totally immersed in the Tuscan countryside. Every single person who attended our wedding commented on how incredible this place was. If you’re dreaming of a relaxed, beautiful, authentic Italian wedding with stunning views, amazing spaces, and everything conveniently in one place, this venue is truly something special.
