We got married at Castello di Meleto from May 25-28, 2026, and it was beyond anything we could have imagined! For those that don't have the time to read the entire review, this is the core sentiment we wish to convey: our 70 well-travelled guests (Australians and Americans, most in their mid-30s) unanimously agreed that this was the best wedding, with hands down the best food, they've ever attended! We booked out the entire venue and hosted all of our guests on the castle grounds for three nights, which turned the wedding into a full resort getaway rather than just a single event. The weather was perfect (80F/27C), so we made full use of both pools throughout our stay. We kicked things off with a pizza party on night one, then an intimate family pasta-making class for 25 family members (Patrizia was awesome!) followed by a pasta party on night two, before the wedding itself on night three. The food was absolutely incredible, and we promise no one will leave hungry! Victor and Alessio coordinated everything with us remotely from Australia, and the execution was flawless. There's no language barrier, and honestly, you don't need to hire a separate wedding coordinator, they handle everything on-site as well as liaising with your offsite vendors, so save your money. They were incredibly responsive over email and Zoom despite their busy schedules and sent us helpful photos and descriptions to guide our planning and decision-making; we chose the top garden for the ceremony, the herb garden for the Aperitifs and the Castle lawn for our Reception. They also looked after our vendors brilliantly and handled every food allergy amongst our guests with real care. Nothing felt like an afterthought. We'd also like to highlight the wonderful catering staff who were delightful throughout our stay! What also sets this venue apart is how much was included. The rooms are generally private with separate bathrooms (except for a couple) and the apartments all share a central kitchen and loungeroom – they are all air-conditioned, which is a huge win for a historic estate. I believe they can fit 80 (potentially more with cots/sofa lounges) and they have baby cots to cater for infants as well. Breakfast every day for all guests, your choice of long or circular tables, beautiful tableware and chairs, overhead fairy lights, and their own award-winning wine, all as standard. Their in-house restaurant team makes the food (Michelin-worthy, every night) and can even do your wedding cake (which, surprise, was also delicious – we chose the circular millefeuille). They provide the pool towels, and they recommend trusted local vendors (florists, photographers, musicians, etc.) for anything else you need. And if the weather turns, wet-weather options are plentiful: the beautifully converted old stables or the castle itself. Castello di Meleto does it all for you, without compromising on quality or feel! We genuinely never needed to leave the property. Between the olive garden, Bee sanctuary, vineyards, a cellar door for wine tastings (discounted for guests), castle tours (the property dates back to 1256!), two pools, and beautiful gardens and pathways, there was always something to explore on-site. For those who wanted to venture out, the castle's location in the heart of the Tuscan wine region made it easy to do vineyard tours or day trips to nearby towns like Siena or Florence. We couldn't recommend Castello di Meleto more highly for a multi-day destination wedding. Victor, Alessio, and their entire team are top notch and will make your wedding unforgettable! Book early to make sure you get your dates – although, any date at the venue would be stunning all year round.

Their exceptional service, warmth, and attentiveness made our wedding weekend truly magical. I highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking an unforgettable wedding experience. We hosted our wedding at Castello di Petrata in August 2020 (we're extremely lucky, we know!). Words really cannot describe how perfect everything was throughout our stay, and all of our guests couldn't stop talking about the fantastic time they had at the Castello. The venue is absolutely gorgeous (traditional Italian chic, overlooking the most beautiful view of Assisi and the Umbrian valley), and being able to host our wedding (and a pizza party the day before) within the Castello's beautiful grounds made it all feel like a dream. This, twinned with the amazing food we got to experience throughout our stay helped make a perfect day even better, and myself, my new husband and all of our guests cannot compliment the Chef's enough. Most importantly though, all of the team at the Castello are simply incredible, and their helpful and friendly personalities really helped make all of our guests feel welcome and like they were a part of the wonderful Petrata family. We would highly recommend Castello di Petrata as a beautiful wedding venue.

The staff and events team at Guadalupe were fantastic from beginning to end. They allowed us to have as much freedom whilst always providing advice and support when needed. The food was simply outstanding and the service was brilliant, every member of the team treated us and our guests with such warmth and friendliness. The views from all around are gorgeous, if you’re after an authentic Tuscan backdrop, this is it. Our ceremony, dinner and party areas were so lovely and made some great photos! We couldn’t wish for better. It’s an ideal location for having all your guests (80 ish) on site, taking the stress out of transfers and accommodation hunting. It also allows you to have a bit more time everyone rather than just on the one wedding day. We had a great weekend with our loved ones and can’t thank Guadalupe enough.

I was pretty nervous because so many places look more beautiful in photos than in real life, and I wasn’t able to visit the venue in person before booking, since I live so far away. I am so relieved to say that was not the case here. Everything in Sassa al Sole was even better than I imagined, from the entrance to the Tuscan hills surrounding it, to the pool area, the rooms, the spot where we held the ceremony. the are for the cake cutting, the area for dancing... Everything was impeccable, and I’m so glad I chose this place. Mariela, the coordinator, was an angel from beginning to end. Starting a year before the wedding, she was endlessly supportive, available, and patient through what was honestly a pretty intense ride. She speaks fluent Spanish, and as a Latina, it meant so much to be able to communicate easily and feel truly understood in everything I wanted and expected. She helped with nearly every part of the organization and was a real source of support whenever I needed it. She gave us wonderful vendor recommendations that we ended up loving, and her taste is excellent. When we finally met in person on the wedding day, she felt less like a coordinator and more like a friend I had known for years, and she treated us that way too. I don’t think I would have had the same experience anywhere else without her. At the end of the night, she even put together a little memory box for us that I will cherish forever. Sassa al Sole is a gorgeous, intimate, elegant, romantic place, and choosing it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Honestly if you’re looking for a venue that will feel like a fairy tale, don’t hesitate to book here.

I honestly don’t know where to begin to express just how grateful we are to Barbara, Sofia, and their entire team for everything they did to make our weekend so incredibly special. Like everyone, we arrived with certain expectations and dreams for the weekend, but what they created for us went far beyond anything we could have wished for. From the very first moment, Barbara and Sofia guided us through every step of the process with such warmth, patience, and genuine care. Whether it was choosing the flowers, discussing the smallest details, or organizing the BBQ on Sunday evening, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Whatever we asked for, they found a way to make it happen — always with a smile and with the kind of personal attention that made us feel truly looked after. What touched us most was not only their incredible professionalism, but also their kindness and the genuine passion they put into what they do. They have a wonderful ability to make you feel completely at ease, allowing you to simply enjoy the moment and be present with the people you love, knowing that everything is in the best possible hands. And then, of course, there is Castelvecchi itself. The location is simply breathtaking. The beauty, the atmosphere, the views, and the surroundings create a setting that feels almost unreal. You can truly lose yourself in the magic of the place and in the beauty of the Tuscan landscape. Looking back, we feel incredibly lucky that we got to celebrate such an important and special weekend at Castelvecchi, surrounded by so much beauty and, above all, by people who put so much heart into making it unforgettable. Barbara, Sofia, and the entire team: thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything. Thank you for all the big things, but also for all the little details that we may not even have noticed at the time, but that made such a difference. You helped create memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and for that we will always be incredibly grateful. We recently celebrated the wedding of my stepdaughter Abbey and James at Tenuta dei Mori, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the enchanting atmosphere captivated us and all our guests who traveled from the UK to share the special day. The venue is nestled amidst lush greenery in the hills of the Perugia area providing a picturesque backdrop that feels both very elegant and intimate. The ceremony space, with its beautiful arbor and draping floral arrangements by Cristina was stunning and set the perfect tone for the event. Andrea and his staff were exceptional throughout the whole stay (we spent 5 days at the venue) and every detail was meticulously managed, from the warm welcome to the seamless coordination throughout the wedding day. The menu designed by Antonio was another highlight, with a delectable menu that catered to every palate. Guests raved about the flavorful dishes and beautiful presentation. Moreover, the indoor reception area is both spacious and charming, adorned with twinkling lights and rustic decor that create a romantic ambiance, and overlooking a beautiful landscape that takes your breath away! The dance floor was a hit, providing ample space for guests to celebrate. In short, La Tenuta dei Mori is a dream wedding venue, combining natural beauty with excellent service. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to make their special day truly magical!

Giorgio and the meet were brilliant from start to finish. The venue is amazing, we fell in love with it the moment we got there to view it. The views are breathtaking. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble and everyone was very friendly. It was lovely getting to meet all of Giorgio's family. The food is outstanding: the Tuscan welcome meal and the antipasti on the terrace before the wedding were out of this world! Grazie mille

Non potevamo chiedere di meglio: fin dal primo momento che abbiamo contattato Giulia per le varie informazioni in merito alla location, è stata subito disponibile ed esaustiva nel fornire le informazioni che avevamo richiesto! Abbiamo poi organizzato una visita alla location, in quanto non residenti in Italia e abbiamo capito subito che “Villa le Vigne” era quello che cercavamo per il nostro matrimonio! Giulia e il team, sono stati sempre super disponibili quando abbiamo avuto bisogno di qualsiasi aiuto! Per non parlare del cibo: i piatti offerti erano veramente squisiti e veramente grazie anche a tutto il team del ristorante e della sala!
