There are simply no words to adequately describe how extraordinary our daughter’s wedding at the Corallo Hotel in Sorrento was. From the very first moment to the last dance, everything was absolutely magical, exquisite, and beyond our expectations.

As the mother of the bride, I arrived in Sorrento with all the emotions, excitement, and inevitable worries that come with seeing your only daughter get married. But thanks to Michele Maresca, the wedding coordinator, I had something every mother dreams of on such an important day: peace of mind.

Michele was extraordinary. He was attentive, accommodating, incredibly organized, and always one step ahead. Our entire family and wedding party traveled from Boston, and he made everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and completely taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble. Every detail was handled with such professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.

And the details… absolutely breathtaking.

The flower arrangements were perfection. Honestly, I have seen beautiful weddings featured in magazines, including Martha Stewart Weddings, but the flowers and overall design of my daughter’s wedding were even more spectacular. Every arrangement looked as though it had been created for a fairytale.

I also have to give a very special thank you to the hair and makeup artists. They worked their magic on the bride, all of the bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and the mother of the groom. They made every one of us look and feel like Hollywood movie stars! ✨ The bride was absolutely breathtaking, and every woman in the bridal party looked elegant, glamorous, and beautiful. Their talent and attention to detail were truly exceptional.

The violinist playing as the bride and groom entered created such a beautiful and emotional moment. The live band was fantastic and kept everyone dancing and celebrating. The Cuban corner was such a wonderful and unexpected addition, and the Limoncello drinks were the perfect touch for a wedding in Sorrento.

The food was simply incredible. There was an abundance of beautifully presented dishes, an amazing variety, and everything was delicious. The waitstaff were elegant, attentive, and professional throughout the entire evening.

And then came the cake—with the fireworks—which was absolutely spectacular!

One of my favorite memories, however, happened before the wedding even began. We suddenly realized that we had forgotten to buy matching socks for the groom and his groomsmen! Without hesitation, the bridesmaid jumped on Michele’s motorcycle with him, and they raced to the store to find the right color socks. 😂❤️

That little story says so much about Michele. He wasn’t simply doing a job. He genuinely cared. He was there for every detail, big or small, and he made sure everything was perfect.

Because of Michele, I was able to stop worrying and simply be the mother of the bride—to look at my beautiful daughter, Patrice, walk down the aisle, take in every moment, dance, laugh, cry happy tears, and enjoy the celebration.

It truly was a fairytale wedding for my beautiful and only daughter, and I will carry those memories in my heart forever.

It was so lovely where the vows took place, complete with the adorable bicycle nearby featuring limoncello’s. The appetizers and dinner could not be any better, and our guests raved about every part of the event.
The special touches - including the band, DJ, saxophone, fireworks, and the cigar and chocolate bars - made the night unforgettable.

Outstanding service from start to finish. We had our sons rehearsal dinner here and Michele and the entire staff exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny perfect atmosphere, food quality and most importantly they were all professional warm and absolutely exceptional from the staff, service and overall experience. Michele personally insured everything stayed within budget and ran smoothly, he coordinated details, checked in with us, was always respectful, attentive and genuinely invested in making our vision happen especially when we were not there in person and had to communicate through FaceTime, emails and Zoom meetings.

Where do I begin? As far as I’m concerned, hotel Corallo Sorrento should be named Hotel Michele, and a statue should be built for the one and only Michele Maresca - their esteemed Food & Beverage/Event Manager.

From the very first second my wife spoke with him, he was available, responsive, friendly, and so helpful. He patiently went over the package with us, explaining thoroughly what accommodations were provided and which ones could be amended. Over the course of 6 months planning our wedding, we must have sent him over 1,000 WhatsApp messages. To which he promptly replied, giving us the answers and options we requested. And always ending every message with his “I am at your disposal” note. He said that countless times. And he meant it.

We had 40 guests flying in for our wedding, spanning the globe from Los Angeles and London. We asked for a pre-wedding party the night before, with an assortment of food options and drinks. Everything was spot on.

And the big day itself? Well, let’s just say it was magical. Every single thing Michele said he and the team would do, they did. And did so to perfection. It’s human nature to imagine something great, only to wind up being disappointed because expectations usually never measure up to reality. But, thanks to Michele, they surpassed them. Everything was beyond our expectations.

It may sound like a cliche, but our dream wedding was truly a reality. And it was because of Michele, along with the staff that helped him along the way. Luca, the amazing bartender and his staff. Leda, our officiant. Roberto, Pino, Lino, and Alex, the stellar photography/videography/drone team. The florists. I could go on. Michele did so much to wrangle so many people, constantly making adjustments on the fly as we would change our minds (even weeks before the wedding). He took it all in stride, making sure our perfect day was just that. And it was.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Hotel Corallo and its wedding manager, Michele. We are from the United States and dreamed of having a destination wedding in Sorrento, Italy but we weren’t sure how to go about planning or coordinating a large destination wedding in another country. Michele at Hotel Corallo took care of everything: he put together a package that included food, drinks, flowers, wedding cake, DJ, MC, photographer, videographer, violinist, saxophonist, hairstylist, makeup artist, etc, and he also took care of planning and setting up the ceremony location. The prices were very reasonable and worth it. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were flawless and the food was incredible. Our guests had an amazing time and so did we. Also, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, and all the vendors Michele hired were professional, kind, and great to work with. Michele was very responsive during the year leading up to the wedding when we discussed and planned details. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at Hotel Corallo and we are so thankful for Michele! If you are looking to have a destination wedding in Italy, choose Hotel Corallo!

Me and my husband got married here and absolutely loved it. we’re from the US it was our first time in Italy and The hotel staff is SO FRIENDLY and the so attentive. Food was fantastic.
