… because we would choose Castello Bevilacqua all over again, every single time! Andrea is extremely professional and accommodating. He offered flexibility in every situation. Knowing that we could trust him every step of the way was such an important thing for us when we first started planning our wedding. Organizing a wedding is stressful—it certainly was for us. Andrea kept a cool head through it all and was always responsive, regardless of the time of day. We were most impressed by how calmly, organized, and smoothly he managed everything on the ground on the wedding day. We truly couldn’t have found a better match. Regarding the venue itself, we can’t stress enough that it is even more magnificent in real life than the pictures suggest. Everything is simply perfect and fairytale-like. We were stunned by how beautifully everything was arranged on the day. The best thing about the castle is that it allows you to adapt to any weather conditions. Our wedding took place in the middle of a heatwave. We could cleverly use the interiors of the castle for welcome drinks, the comforting shade of the trees outside for the ceremony, and then the courtyard for the aperitivo, before moving to the upper garden for dinner once the heat of the day had dissipated. The castle itself is located approximately 45–50 minutes by car or train from Verona (a little longer from Venice) and lies just a three-minute walk from the train station. The food was excellent and of high quality throughout. We had the opportunity to taste and curate our personal menu beforehand. Everything was locally sourced, fresh, and delicious. The service was excellent, to the point where even our non-English- or non-Italian-speaking guests felt that none of their wishes went unfulfilled. Our favorite course was the traditional millefoglie wedding cake with wild berries—an absolute highlight for our guests as well. We will forever look back on our big day with immense happiness, knowing that it simply wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue. Corte San Mattia is stunning on its own and offers so many different spaces to use throughout the celebration, from the restaurant and terrace to the pool, garden, Vineria, and Borgo. We booked the venue exclusively for two nights, and our guests loved every minute of it. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was excellent, and it was the perfect place to relax by the pool before getting ready for the celebrations. What really made the difference was the team. Rebecca, Camilla, and everyone at Corte San Mattia were incredibly warm, flexible, and dedicated. The wedding package is very transparent, with most essentials already included, and they were always happy to accommodate extra requests. One moment we will never forget was the weather. It rained until Friday afternoon, and we were convinced we would have to spend the entire weekend indoors. The team never gave up, kept adjusting the plans, and moved everything outside at the last minute when the weather improved. We are so grateful they made that possible.

The team at Villa Bartolomea gave us the event of a lifetime. From start to finish, Federico, Enrico, Anna and Serena were kind, attentive and genuinely wonderful people to deal with. Everything is customized down to the smallest detail by the team. From initial consultations, through to site visit, detail meetings, setting dates and the lead up to the big day, it was smooth sailing without issue. The only way to describe the venue is magical. The pictures are nothing compared to the venue in person. As a place that has actually been lived in, it is honest, and filled with an atmosphere that forms over centuries which cannot be replicated. It naturally exudes the character and elegance that 5 star hotels and country houses around the world try to copy and imitate. When we did the site visit, there were 5 couples with us. Within 20 minutes of being at the venue, all 5 couples had decided they wanted to get married here. This is because of both the venue, and the Villa Bartolomea team. This does not feel like a commercial operation. This feels like you are dealing with real people who are genuinely interested and want to make every wedding special and unique. On the day, the team were present, but in a very attentive but unobtrusive way. It always felt like this was our weekend, but the team were always nearby to help. A special note to mention Anna on the team; Due to a logistical error, the bride's bouquet (which the bride ordered herself, not affiliated with the venue or the official florist) did not arrive on time. This was not a big issue and we were happy without it. However, the day before the wedding, Anna went to the florist, got some extra flowers, and taught herself how to make a bouquet. The next morning, she left a beautiful white and blue bouquet outside our room for the Bride. It was absolutely perfect. That simple act of kindness will never be forgotten. If we were billionaires, we would still have had our wedding at Villa Bartolomea.

We got married in Villa Rezzonico in 2025. Villa Rezzoncio is a venue of dreams - we could not believe we found such a beautiful venue and we were able to have our wedding there. We had a ceremony in the gardens and our reception in the main villa. We used the upstairs bedrooms for the bridal party to get ready the night / morning before the wedding. It is the most beautiful venue and the photos do not do it justice - SIMPLY STUNNING. As a British couple who do not speak Italian, we were so grateful to Francesca for her wonderful English, her brilliant communication and just how helpful Francesca was. Francesca would answer any questions and any request we had she made possible. We LOVED working with Francesca and we are so grateful to her for all her help, time and kindness throughout the wedding process. Any time we needed access to have meeting with suppliers was always possible and it was always so easy. We are so sad the wedding is over now but so grateful to have had Francesca help us and that we got to get married in such a beautiful venue. We highly recommend.
