We stayed here for our friends (Bridget and Luke’s) wedding it was the most magical place! The staff went above and beyond to help and accommodate all of the guests and they made our friends celebration so special! Would definitely recommend

I recently stayed at Borgo Petroro for my friends’ (Bridget and Luke) wedding. It was a truly special time staying here and the venue was so accommodating to all of the guests needs. All staff were friendly, approachable, and went above and beyond to make our stay and the special day so perfect. All of the food cooked on site was absolutely sensational and the kitchen were so flexible to adjust the set menus to all of the guest’s varying dietary requirements. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!!

My husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding at Borgo Petroro and we cannot think of a more perfect place for such a special day. Firstly, the location and venue are stunning. The venue itself is perfectly managed and our guests loved their rooms as well as the accompaniments like the pool, the olive groves, the piazza, the restaurant and the taverna. Most importantly, the staff who manage Borgo Petroro are what make it truly special. Everyone we met greeted us with warmth and love which made my wife and I (in addition to all of our guests) feel so at home. Marina is an excellent property manager who shows her love of the venue through her care of the property and all its guests; Daniela, Jessica and Caterina were amazing front of staff who helped our guests feel welcomed and organised! Giacomo, Simone and Florian provided an incredible experience for our guests whether it be through outstanding dinner service, wine tasting or simply engaging with guests; and finally, Federico for making the most incredible food we have ever eaten!

Finally, we would not have been able to have such an amazing wedding experience without Andrea. Andrea is an incredible manager who worked closely with us to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams, and thanks to Andrea - we had that and more! He went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly for us and all our guests. We cannot stress how amazing Andrea has been from start to finish, and we are incredibly grateful to you all. Borgo Petroro will be a special place for us always and we intend to return every year.

We recently hosted a party to celebrate our wedding at Borgo Petroro, and everything was absolutely perfect. The attention to detail was spot on, and Andrea, the manager, was attentive from start to finish. He took an exceptional amount of time to really understand what we wanted and his team worked tirelessly to deliver it seamlessly. Our guests were blown away — we’ve been inundated with messages of thanks, and everyone commented on how special the entire weekend felt. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable celebration, and we’ll treasure these memories for years to come.

We were married at the Borgo Petroro and have visited many times. It is Incredibly beautiful and exquisite with its rustic charm and stunning views The venue is a meticulously restored, complete with cobblestone paths, stone walls, beautiful gardens and incredible views, that offers a perfect blend of charm, history and romance.

We have visited the Borgo a few times before our wedding and have visited many times since. On every occasion the service and experience has been superb.

Thanks to Andrea and his team, we have created many incredible memories here. He guided us throughout the planning process with his knowledge, recommendations, and professionalism. The process of arranging a wedding in another country could have been challenging without his advice, guidance, support, and knowledge. This is a hotel that is characterized by its team, which makes it perfect. There is nothing better than walking into a beautiful room that is clean, spotless, and smells divine (here is no doubt that the cleaning team does an excellent job) In addition to this as you listen to bird song, you will be blown away by the views.

The reception team are fantastic and will go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as possible going the extra mile to help. They are approachable, professional and always friendly. Just superb and an asset to the team. Recruiting and cultivating hardworking, diligent, professional, friendly waiters and waitresses / kitchen staff is difficult. All of the members of this team are exceptional and a credit to the Borgo and whoever assembled them. Each of them is incredibly polite, professional, friendly, and hardworking. Our hearts are full of gratitude for your kindness and everything you did for our wedding weekend.

The Chefs - just unbelievable. Each and every meal was exquisite well-prepared delectable meal with great presentation and interesting flavours. Food that I can only compare to ambrosia, the food of the gods! I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

It is impossible to overstate how highly I recommend Borgo Petroro to you, especially Andrea who coordinated every step to ensure our wedding was a success. When challenges arose, his diligence, quick thinking and determination made them disappear.

The Borgo Petroro is a true gem of a hotel, with the team it makes the Borgo so, so special. Bravo!

We got married in Borgo Petroro in September 2024.
We were satisfied in all aspects.
First of all, the place is wonderful and until you get there personally it is hard to imagine its beauty: everything is very well cared for in every detail.
All the staff were very professional and careful with our requests, even coming to satisfy us at the last minute with weather-related changes of schedule.
Another thing we really appreciated was the food: everything was really delicious and in the right proportions.
All our guests confirmed our feelings.
We have already booked for next year's anniversary! :)
