Struttura e capacità
Con una posizione dominante in cima a una collina, Villa Alta ha un'estetica unica e bella che i tuoi ospiti adoreranno. La terrazza è un delizioso spazio all'aperto che può ospitare 100 persone, con una vista eccezionale sulle dolci colline. Da uno dei saloni al piano terra si accede direttamente al giardino all'italiana, incantevole cornice dove scambiarsi le promesse. All'interno, su entrambi i piani, tra saloni affrescati e lampadari antichi, si trovano spazi per aperitivi, colazioni e cene come valida alternativa per la stagione fredda o in caso di maltempo. Siete invitati a godervi un servizio fotografico sul terreno o accanto alla piscina.

Storia
La Villa si trova lungo l'antica e leggendaria via della seta. Su questa strada, in epoca barocca rinascimentale, i grandi mercanti pisani e lucchesi potevano raggiungere le corti nordeuropee con i loro damaschi raffinati e pregiati. La residenza di Villa Alta risale alla metà dell'Ottocento e, fino al 1920, apparteneva alla nobile famiglia pisana del conte Cosimo Agostino. Divenuto di proprietà della famiglia Cecchetti nel 1992, è stato completamente ristrutturato riportandolo all'attuale splendore.

Wedding perfection
They were so knowledgeable with all aspects of wedding planning and a wealth of resources. They connected us with the local priest and church, the catering company, florist, photographer, hairdressers, make up artists and had solutions to every request we brought to them.
They are master organisers and ensured that all parts of our wedding went smoothly on the day. They made our family feel truly at home in Villa Alta and ensured that everyone had a special and memorable stay.

Fantastic wedding in villa
We celebrated our wedding (civil ceremony) on August 26th in the adjacent Italian garden and had dinner on the terrace with 100 guests. All the guests who attended the event were very impressed with this fabulous site.
The two owners (Monica and Raffaella) were truly professional, kind, friendly and helped us with the organization of the wedding (catering, lights, DJ).
The property also offers a swimming pool in which to relax, as we did before the wedding! The offer also includes bed and breakfast: fantastic room, well renovated, large and with sitting area, as is the breakfast, plentiful and varied (pancakes, croissants, pastries etc), much appreciated.
The quality/price ratio is truly excellent, very competitive!

"High Level" Villa
We immediately fell for its balance between the elegance of its architecture and the cosiness of its warm, pastel colors. We didn't want a place which would turn out too cold, austere or dark.
Very easy too reach from Pisa, the Villa is a little bit elevated: a bus is provided, for a short one minute trip to the terrace, from which you can admire a view of the all city of Pisa (Tower included), its surrounding lands reaching the sea. The delightful terrace is also sourronded by mountains and a typical Tuscany landscape ( olive trees, lemmon trees). The adjacent Italian Garden, with its roses and statues of Cherubs, is a little jewel and a very good setting for photographs.
The Villa is made of many rooms, of different colors and very bright: a cheerful and diversified structure, allowing anybody who would need it ( groups of people, parents with children), to have a moment of intimacy, withouth being isolated. Ancient and historically important (here Chianti was invented), the Villa is nevertheless very well maintened, clean, flawless.
Monica e Raffaella were very professional, kind and friendly. They adapted to our specific needs and communication was always smooth and easy. They are very experienced and always ready, for who would need it, to give advice or provide contacts for other services. They speak English and have helped many international couples to get married in their Villa.
Guests were enthusiast. We had challenged the weather, having set the date for October 29th, but even on a cloudy day, the terrace showed a sky full of colors, beautiful, romantic shades.
Last but not least, a special mention to the Bed and Breakfast included in the offer. Spending the night in the Villa, discovering the little paths and views from the garden in the evening and in the morning after... all of this contributed to the uniqueness of the experience. Breakfast was rich and varied (pancakes, croissants, pastries, eggs ...) : a final surprise, very much appreciated (brides are too nervous to eat during their wedding sometimes) , which ended the experience on a sweet note.
