It really is going to be difficult to articulate just how much of an impact Ash left on me and my wife, on our wedding day.

The whole experience was incredible, with Ash approaching our day not as a "job" but as an experience he wanted to be part of - he was as excited as us, to capture those moments and document the smiles, tears, laughter and drunk dancing (!).

The pre-wedding conversations were open and collaborative, and on the day Ash came and just elevated the day with his presence - his eye for a shot, his humanity and most of all his positivity and passion for what he clearly loves doing - taking your picture!

No question about it, we would do it all again exactly the same - do not hesitate, book Ash you will not regret it!

Ash was the best photographer we could ever have asked for. He captured the day perfectly and when we looked back through the photos it felt like reliving the day again. From the initial phone call, he listened to what we wanted and made some really helpful creative suggestions. Lots of our friends commented on how warm and personable he was, and his professionalism and friendly nature just shone through throughout the whole process.

All the reviews do not give justice as to how amazing Ash is!. He was recommended to us by a friend and we did not hesitate to ask him. Ours was a very small event and Ash was perfect for this. From start to finish to the communication was amazing. He was enthusiastic, creative but in no way overwhelming. He is very calm and relaxed and exceptionally talented. We are a very quirky couple and he went with every idea and enhanced it further. He puts you massively at ease on the day and got on so well with us and the guests. If your York based like us, go for Ash!. He loves the city and knows it better than any local. He has the best shots and has amazing creativity. He is exceptionally patient even when we needed a quick break (Don't wear high heels on the cobbles in York). He is a really nice guy and we simply enjoyed getting to know him and him being there. Ash did the photography for our wedding back in October and he truly did the most incredible job!
From documenting our legal ceremony on the Wednesday to the wild party on the Thursday - he took the most sensational photos, that are so special to us.

Ash also ensured all of our family and friends felt comfortable and confident with their photos, and also was amazing with our little boy.

what can i say about Ash, from the start he has been amazing. when we first has the consultation meeting, he was so friendly and professional, explained the whole process to us and what to expect- so we booked immediately. I told him in not a photogenic person and i HATE my picture being taken, but he told me not to worry and we would work through it

Throughout the run up to my wedding, he was always there to give ideas and support. Fast forward to the wedding day- Ash arrived in the morning as planned (i didnt think i wanted getting ready shots, but theyve turned out to be some of my favorite shots) he blended into the background, so i didnt feel bombarded when i was having my morning with my girls- he was just there ready to get some gorgeous shots without me even noticing.

when it came time to do the family photos and couple shots, i was shocked at how at ease he put us, i didnt feel embarrassed having my picture taken and he was directing us on which shots to get and they turned out utterly stunning

he honestly felt like part of my wedding party and all of my guests commented on how friendly and lovely he was. My wedding photos have turned out incredible.

What can I say? Ash was amazing and created memories we will never forget, he became part of our day and almost every guest commented about what a nice relaxed man he was. Our photos are amazing and returned back to us very quickly. Best choice I made for my wedding (besides the groom of course)

Ash was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. He was ultra professional, super creative with lots of ideas and really thought outside the box. He really made you feel important and made sure that he captured all your special moments. He really got us as a couple and put in some special personal touches for us. He made sure he knew the venues beforehand and was incredibly thoughtful and a pleasure to have there on the day - just unobtrusively being brilliant as well as being able to put together some super group shots. l couldn't recommend him enough.

Initially we didn't think we were going to get a photographer since we had such an intimate ceremony but going with Ash was the best decision we could have made. From pictures of the cerermony, to group pictures and our individual pictures captured around York, we couldn't be happier. He helped guide us through posing since we had no idea what we were doing but also captured the essence of the day with beautiful candid shots.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Ash more if I tried!

We met beforehand and had regular catch ups via message, he was happy to take on all my crazy ideas around the types of photos I wanted to capture and when we met we did a bit of a walk through as we were getting married in a city, so most of our photos were outdoors. He was amazing from the outset, always there for me to send messages to, ask questions etc. and even before the big day I knew I had made the right decision choosing him.

On the day he just blended in, we all felt so comfortable having him around, posing and by the end he was honestly part of the family.

Of course, most importantly the pictures were STUNNING!! I could not have been happier, so many shots I didn’t even realise because he took so many candid ones and got all the right angles, plus like I said he blended in so well sometimes I forgot he was there, which was exactly what I wanted.

We also received our pictures much quicker than I expected, beautifully laid out in our own little website. I honestly must have gone through them about 100 times because there were just so many.
He was fantastic and extremely good value for money.
If your looking for a photographer for any occasion, get him booked! You won’t regret it.

We found Ash via a recommendation from a friend and we soon saw why he came highly recommended. He was super clear in communications in the run up and discussions about what we were wanting, and he was also up for photo ideas he hadn't done before too!

On top of this, he was thorough in taking photos of everybody and generally being a really nice guy that everyone enjoyed working with. The photos ended up being phenomenal and everybody who's had a look at them agrees and has sung his praises. Please check this guy's work out!
