My name is Gareth, I’m a well published Cheshire based wedding photographer that thrives on creating stunningly beautiful wedding photography masterpieces. I shoot all over the UK & beyond for those lovely adventure seeking couples who want to elope & globe trot to foreign lands to tie the knot.
I am a creative love story teller who captures your day from start to finish & I don’t leave until I’m satisfied that I’ve captured all the details of your day. I know every wedding is unique & I pride myself in capturing the real love between each couple on their special day.
I aim to create & capture your romantic adventure with fine art creativity shots & blending in with your guests to document the fun & laughter throughout the day, I’m sure you will look at your pictures with friends & loved ones with happy memories for years to come.
Services Offered
I offer full & half day packages as well as bespoke packages to cater for every budget.
Full day packages include -
*A pre-wedding meeting to discuss your day in detail.
*A complimentary Engagement shoot, which gives us the opportunity to discuss your day in detail & to get you some lovely pre-wedding snaps.
*Full day wedding photography from Bridal Prep right through to the first dance & cutting of your wedding cake.
* All your images beautifully edited by myself in my signature style with a minimum of 500 stunning high-definition pictures delivered to you on a bespoke USB key in a natural cotton keepsake box (With a choice of colour) along with some small printed photos.
* Drone coverage from above, so some nice shots of you and your venue from the sky (weather & venue permitting).
* A 24 hour sneak peek of up to 15 images of your special day.
* Travel expenses included (Within 50 miles radius).

Yes, i cover the whole UK & beyond for those adventurous couples who want to elope to Europe & beyond
What is the charge for travelling?
It depends on a few things. Travel in Cheshire is included in the package, further afield in the UK is £40 per 100 miles, abroad is subject to destination flight & accommodation costs

Absolutely amazing
From the moment we booked the communication with Gareth was top notch. He even recommended other places once we got talking about our day . He would check up on us to check how our planning was going . Such a friendly, professional service and I’m so glad we had Gareth to capture our special day . He fit right in with all our friends and family. The pictures are absolutely stunning.

Fabulous photographer, love our photos
We would highly recommend Gareth Roy Photography. Gareth was fantastic from the enquiry process through to us receiving our photos. Perfect wedding photographer
After following Gareth on instagram for a number of years, and admiring his photography skills there was nobody else I would have chosen to capture all our special moments on our wedding day.
He made us feel so at ease behind the camera (fully advise to have an engagement/pre wedding shoot beforehand also) and I couldn’t pick a favourite photo if I tried!
I would highly recommend Gareth to anyone who wants amazing photos and a relaxed atmosphere!

From the moment we requested a quote Gareth was great from the get go, nothing was too much trouble and he was always on hand to answer any questions. On the day itself Gareth was very professional and mingled well with guests while capturing lots of photos, ones we had asked for before hand but also spontaneous ones on the day. Absolutely love our photos and would defiantly recommend! Thanks again Gareth!

Absolutely fantastic!
We were so lucky that Gareth had our date available. It was meant to be! He made us feel at ease from the beginning when he offered to meet with us and do an engagement shoot around the grounds at our venue. Such a lovely touch. His communication and photography style is just brilliant. The images captured are exactly what we had envisioned. He always made sure we were happy and showed us a glimpse on his camera there and then, which I really appreciated.
Such a great guy to get on with, he was such an invaluable part of our day! Would very highly recommend!

Amazing photographer
Our day was perfectly captured by Gaz, we can't thank him enough. He ensured we got all the photos we could ever have hoped for, being kind enough to stay later into the evening to capture all the best moments from our day. Nothing was too much to ask, even on the hottest day of the year (in over 30-degree heat)! We received all of our photos on a USB in a beautiful personalised box, such a lovely touch. Went above and beyond!
Not quite sure how to put into words how amazing Gareth has been as our wedding photographer. We booked Gareth in 2019 for our should have been 2020 wedding. Despite the multiple postponements Gareth made sure that he worked with us and made no issue when changing dates and also honoured our original quote throughout, which we were so grateful for as we know of many others who have been charged more by other suppliers.
We met with Gareth for the first time for our engagement shoot in the lakes, we had an amazing full day of travelling around the lakes getting some amazing shots - myself and my husband both agree that this is one of our favourite memories leading up to the wedding. Gareth included this in the package price, which is quite unbelievable as he had travelled quite a way and had taken time out of his own weekend to do this for us - one of the many examples of him going above and beyond.
On the wedding day Gareth was amazing, he listened to all of my requests and did not stop with the camera until he got all the perfect shots! He was happy to start conversations with guests and so many people came up to me to comment on how lovely he was, which helped everyone feel at ease being infront of the camera.
I have recently got my photos back - all 1200!! I can't begin to describe how happy I am with them, they are photos that I will cherish forever.
Thank you so much Gareth for being fantastic at what you do and also being so understanding during the difficulties that covid brought us. We couldn't recommend enough!

Gareth was an amazing photographer on our wedding day from the bridal prep to the last dance! He took so many pictures on our day and we love them!

Captured every special moment of our wedding
We were looking for a wedding photographer who would capture the special unposed moments of our wedding day. There were a few shots that were staged (such as the smoke-bomb shots) that looked great but it was the unposed ones that really captured the spirit and joy of the day. We look at the photographs often and they bring back so much joy. We couldn’t have chosen better than Gareth Roy Photography as our wedding photographer,

5⭐️ Absolutely brilliant
Gareth (Gaz) did our wedding on 26.04.2022, so professional while taking photos. Very helpful before the wedding and taking his time while taking photos and talking the wedding guests who were there, all the guests said how brilliant and friendly he was! Couldn’t be happier! 100% recommend
Gareth captured our wedding day. Ever since booking him he was so enthusiastic and thorough with what we wanted on our day to ensure every detail was met. We really felt like we could message any time with any minor questions and we were put right at ease and never made to feel like we were a nuisance or any query was too small!
On the wedding day he arrived early and we were met with such warmth it really put us at a ease even further!
Throughout the whole day nothing was too much effort and Gareth went above and beyond to get every single shot perfectly and also provided guidance in what we could do during photos to get the best outcome. He made us feel so comfortable all day and was available and welcoming for any guests to do impromptu photos.

Just Perfect
5* professional service from start to finish. Gaz has been absolutely perfect from the moment we booked all the way up until the big day. Such a friendly character and a new found friend. Our pictures turned out even better than we ever imagined which I never thought would be possible - we haven't stopped receiving compliments on how well they look (and we've only received the sneak peeks so far!) Wedding - Absolutely amazing!

While the photos were being checked and put onto a USB, Gareth kept in contacting letting us know how it was going and when the photos arrived, they came in a lovely box with our name and date we got married, it was lovely! Absolutely incredible photographer
Gaz helped me out massively and came to the rescue when my original photographer let me down 2 months before my wedding day. I saw his style on social media and instantly loved all his photos.
Communication throughout is second to none and his professionalism follows suit. He came and found me at my venue the morning of my wedding (suited and booted) and got straight to work. He worked wonderfully with my videograher, the day flowed so well and it felt like he was one of my guests.
I had sneak peeks sent to me the day after my wedding which was an amazing surprise to wake up to the day after the wedding.
Communication stayed on point after my wedding day and I received all my photos a month after my big day.
And the most important thing - is that every photo is absolutely outstanding! He captured every moment perfectly and despite the rubbish weather did what he could to get us outside.
