I have been shooting weddings for a long time. 20 years in fact. Every wedding day is different, and because of this, I follow no set formula. I shoot what I see. I orchestrate nothing (apart from the obvious episodes when it's required). This gives my photography a very unobtrusive, natural, and intimate feel. A colleague of mine once said, "Shoot how you like to shoot." This is simple but great advice, as it makes the images more heartfelt and genuine. My fees are extremely reasonable for a photographer of my experience, being roughly £950 for an 8 hour (or so) event and £500 for a half day. I'm friendly, flexible, and very laid back. But always quietly professional. The biggest compliment I often get in my reviews is: "We forgot you were even there," which says it all.

What does the wedding package include?

I keep it very simple and transparent. 950 for 8 hours - give or take. I can do shorter events, but tend not go below 500

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?

Yes, i have covered weddings all over the world so I can travel anywhere, even though I don't drive - don't need to. I cover London and the Midlands. Based in Yorkshire

What is the charge for travelling?

Within my main areas. Nothing. Expensive train journeys and flights and hotels such as Travelodge, I bill you

What kind of technology do you use?

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

Not really. I use two Nikons and tend to stick to two very good lenses. One 35mm - for narrative and one 85mm, for portraits. I hardly ever use zooms. I also tend to keep well out of the way

What kind of equipment do you use?

2 full frame SLRs, typically with a 35mm fast prime and an 85mm fast prime. Keeps everything simple and lean
