I’m Aaron — a North East wedding photographer (and now filmmaker too) specialising in natural, unposed storytelling. No awkward posing. No stopwatch timing. Just the real stuff: the laughter, the tears, the chaos, the quiet moments… and everything in between.
I blend in like a guest, help out when needed (pinning buttonholes, carrying flowers, rounding people up without being “that guy”), and capture your day as it actually happened — so you can relive how it felt, not just how it looked.
For every wedding I photograph, I also plant a tree 🌱 — a small way to make sure your day leaves a lasting mark in more ways than one.

On our wedding day, Aaron was such a calming influence on us. With him knowing our venue well, he was so knowledgeable on where to get the best photos and exactly how to capture our special moments without taking too much away from the day and spending time with our loved one.
Something that really made us want to work with Aaron was his candid and natural approach. His photos absolutely capture the raw emotion of a wedding day, which is what my husband and I wanted.
A highlight for us was Aaron editing a selection of photos and displaying these on a slideshow for guests later into the evening. Such a special and unique touch to be able to see your photos only hours after saying ‘I do’!
We would absolutely recommend Aaron without hesitation and even more so if you are getting married at Danby Castle. We want to get married all over again so Aaron can be there!
We cannot stress enough how talented Aaron is at what he does. He has a natural gift and eye for the job and we are beyond thankful for having him as a part of our special day.

I’m Aaron — a North East wedding photographer and filmmaker for couples who want to actually enjoy their day, not perform for it.

My job isn’t to turn you into models — it’s to make you feel comfortable, blend in like a guest, and quietly capture the real moments as they happen. The belly laughs, the happy tears, the nervous hands, the chaos on the dancefloor, and all the small in-between bits you’ll miss on the day.
I’m calm, organised, and genuinely helpful (I’ve pinned buttonholes, carried bouquets, fixed dresses, and rounded up family for group photos without turning it into a military operation). You’ll never be barked into stiff poses or rushed around — I’ll guide you when you need it, disappear when you don’t, and keep everything feeling natural.
I now offer photo and film, so if you want both, you can have one seamless team capturing your story in a consistent style.
