Collections start from 3 hours of coverage through to full-day storytelling, with sneak peeks, a beautifully edited online gallery and high-resolution downloads included
How far in advance should I contact you?
As wedding dates can book up quickly, I recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your venue and date secured
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, north West England and beyond. I'm happy to travel throughout the UK for weddings and special occasions
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel within 50 miles is included. For venues outside this area, a small travel fee may apply and will always be discussed in advance

I use professional Fujifilm cameras and lenses, chosen for their beautiful colours, detail, and timeless image quality. Backup equipment is always carried on wedding days for added peace of mind
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, all final images are delivered through a private online gallery, making it easy to view, download, share with family and friends, and order prints if desired
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

Payment can be made via bank transfer. A booking fee is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before your wedding day

Hi, I’m Katie - the founder & photographer behind Captured by KDW.
I’m a North West-based wedding photographer capturing natural, honest moments with an editorial edge. My style is relaxed, storytelling-led and focused on all the real moments - the belly laughs, happy tears and everything in between.
I’m a bubbly person by nature and will probably be your biggest cheerleader on the day. I’m all about making you feel comfortable, hyped up and genuinely enjoying yourselves, so there’s never any awkward “okay… now laugh!” moments. Instead, I create space for real connection, real emotion and photographs that feel like you.
Outside of weddings, I’m either playing padel or at home in my little cottage with my husband and our three cats, likely curled up watching EastEnders with a cuppa. Having recently experienced my own wedding day, I know just how quickly it all flies by - and how important it is to have photos that take you right back to how it felt.
