Decor Hire and Styling in Yorkshire & Humberside

We first met the Woodhouses at a wedding fayre at the Boathouse and fell in love with their stuff! All made from wood by them and just right up our street. We hired the crisp wall, arch, table, light curtain, postbox, limbo and corn toss for outside games and the welcome easel, you can put flowers in the bottom of this as well. We also hired tealight holder and vases for the tables. All their stuff is gorgeous and really reasonably priced. They were always on hand to answer any questions and delivered the stuff the morning of the wedding so that was one last thing for us to think about. Honestly 10/10 couldn’t be happier! Vicky and her team are fantastic. We had our wedding at Waterton Park in July 26 and the service they provided really made the day so special. From start to finish we had confidence that the venue decorations would be top quality, they worked so hard to ensure all the details were spot on. Everything we discussed was seamlessly completed, we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Everything from the Ceremony room, wedding breakfast tables, wider venue decorations and the evening reception - can’t fault it. The choices and combinations are endless, but Vicky and her knowledge of the venue was invaluable in making our day come to life. Thank you so much, it made for a day we will never forget.

We cannot recommend this team highly enough. From our very first conversation, Sophie was incredibly communicative and put us completely at ease. She made the whole planning process feel effortless, even when we had to change our table layout the team adapted without missing a beat. The decorations themselves were stunning. So many of our guests went out of their way to compliment the room and the decor truly set the tone for the whole wedding. What really set them apart, though, was how far above and beyond they went to make our day a success. They were on hand the night before to help move tables around when the venue was being difficult about placement. Even though moving tables wasn’t technically their job, they carried and moved heavy tables themselves without hesitation, just to make sure the room was set up beautifully for us. That level of care is rare!! There was one small hiccup where the venue gave them the wrong finish time, so they began clearing down slightly early. The moment they realised the event was still in full swing, they immediately paused and apologised profusely. They are genuinely lovely, conscientious people who clearly cared about getting it right for us. Great communication, incredible decor, and a couple who clearly pour their hearts into their work. We’re so grateful to them for helping make our day so special!!!

Can’t thank Claire and the team enough for all they did to help decorate and set up our wedding. Their experience with weddings and the contacts they have really helped us and we certainly couldn’t have done it without them. Claire totally understood our vision from the get go and really brought it to life - it looked better than we could have even dreamed of. Her calm demeanour was a real comfort to us throughout. She goes above and beyond to help out and is a lovely easy-going person in general. We couldn’t recommend Village Green more!!

We had Vicky from Ambience style our winter wedding at Tickton Grange. She was able to bring our vision to life and exceed all our expectations ( which were high to begin with ). I could not recommend Vicky/ Ambience enough. Our day was magical and stress free and she had a huge factor in that making sure the venue was styled to how we wanted it and making sure our flowers were perfect. 10/10.

From the very first conversation through to our wedding day, the service we received was absolutely exceptional. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and somehow managed to exceed every expectation we had. Walking into our venue for the first time was such a magical moment. Every single detail was beautifully styled, and everything came together so perfectly. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking and completely transformed the venue. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the day about how stunning everything looked. My bridal bouquet deserves a special mention because it was beyond anything I could have imagined. It was elegant, beautifully put together, and suited me perfectly. It was honestly one of my favourite parts of the day, and I didn’t want to put it down! Not only is their work incredibly talented, but they are also such lovely people to work with. Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail made the whole process completely stress-free, and I always felt confident that everything was in safe hands. We were recommended make my day by a friend. The first meeting was very informal, relaxed and informative. On our wedding day itself , the groom had just finished breakfast when the team were already hard at work setting the ribbons up on the chairs , the seating plan and a welcome sign.
