We’re BlackSheep Productions, covering Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East, and we’re passionate about capturing the real magic of your wedding day. We specialise in cinematic photography and film, giving couples one creative team to tell their story from start to finish.
Lead by Iain and Lisa, a husband-and-wife team, We genuinely love what we do. We know how important these moments are, and with our experience behind us, we focus on creating something that feels natural, personal, and completely true to you.
Our approach is relaxed and cinematic. We don’t spemd ages staging your day or take you away from it. We let it unfold naturally while we capture everything. From your vows to the laughter during speeches and all the little moments in between, we turn it all into something you’ll treasure forever.

We typically cover your whole day, from morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations. So nothing is missed. Our laid-back approach means you can relax, be yourselves, and enjoy every moment while we document it.
When it comes to your final memories, we provide high-quality digital files that are easy to view and share with family and friends. For printed keepsakes, we work with two amazing European suppliers, Both world leading album makers, to create stunning, handcrafted albums and art that you’ll cherish for years to come.
For us, it’s not just about documenting your wedding. it’s about telling your story in a way that feels timeless, meaningful, and completely yours.

Our packages cover your full story - from bridal and groom prep through to after your first dance.
No hidden fees, ever. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond, arriving early and staying late

We book up quickly, so we recommend getting in touch as soon as you can.

My husband and I hired Blacksheep productions for our wedding at Grand Villa Heights/Solara Shores after chatting to Iain. We discussed what we were looking for and what they could provide us and we snapped up the full day package with photography, drone footage and social package. On the day Iain and his second shooter Si were just incredible, super friendly, hard working and knew exactly what they were doing. They helped to direct us to ensure we would get the results we wanted and organised the group shots. We got a sneak preview the next morning of our wedding highlight video and omg it was just out of this world. Everyone that we have showed it to was amazing by the quality of the shots, editing and the fast turnaround time. Honestly these guys are experts and everything is just perfection! The preview photos followed quickly after.
We are so so grateful we were able to work with these guys for our special day and they have helped us to create memories that we will cherish forever and we really cannot thank them enough and would recommend them 1000%.

Outstanding professionals!
We cannot thank Iain, Lisa and Simon enough for being there for our wedding. You put everyone at ease and our sneak peak photos look fantastic and we cannot wait for the rest nor our video.
Everyone worked extremely well and all guests were thankful of their favours (framed in white) plus also the photo booth in the evening.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish!
Me and my husband absolutely hates photos, we told black sheep this from the get go and they were absolutely fantastic with us. We got some amazing fun photos and had an absolute blast working with them on our wedding day. They were so patient with our children and honestly it was like having two extra guests there having a laugh and just capturing those special moments. After having Iain recommended as someone we know had previously used them for their wedding video and we loved it, we decided to recently use him to video our recent wedding at Sandburn Hall.
We’re so glad we found him, he made our day so relaxed, amazing and joyful. He really is the best, down to every detail from the taking of certain shorts in the grounds and working with our photographer.
We would definitely recommend any future bride and groom to use them, we really can’t wait to see the video!

Above & Beyond!
We are so pleased we chose to ask Iain and Lisa for our wedding in August. They organised multiple calls for both sides to ask questions and understand ordering and plans for the day. We had a pre-shoot to meet Iain and understand some of the shots we’d like to do, which made them that much easier on the day!
We went for a photo & film package and we’ve had the sneak peak photos back so far and are so pleased already. Both Iain and Lisa were so natural on the day and fitted in so well. We’ve had so many compliments from guests at how they were working around everyone.
They made the most of the wild flower fields and sunflowers in the field at different parts of the day, as well as keeping our photos as natural as possible as per our request. We had drone footage which we are so excited to see & managed to get both our dogs to look at the camera at the same time which is always a challenge!!

Wedding at Newburgh Priory
Iain and Lisa were exceptional from start to finish. Our sneak peek photographs have come through and we are astounded by them. They are great at what they do and incredibly lovely people to be around.

Great Professional Job!
We hired Iain and Lisa for our wedding photography and videography. I would say I'm a very needy customer and like to keep in touch with the supplier which wasn't an issue with black sheep as I could contact them via email, message or phone at any time. We had a pre-shoot included in our package which was great as we went to our local woods and had some great photos taken to let Iain get an idea of how awkward or not so awkward we would be for taking photos on the day! Our day went so smooth and we didn't even notice Iain and Lisa half of the time they just blended in with our guests taking photos. They were so patient with our pooches as we wanted to get the perfect photo with them and they got just that! They let us know at the end of the night before they left the photos would take around 12 weeks and the video slightly longer and it was definitely worth the wait! We absolutely loved our photos and watching the video back feels like we are re-living the day all over again!

Outstanding!!!
Blacksheep have been outstanding with us from the beginning to the end. My pictures are so beautiful and my wedding film is just perfect and captured my whole day exactly the way I always imagined. I am so grateful to have such an amazing film to look back on over the years to come! Iain was there for us with any questions we had or help we needed, his communication with me from the lead up to the wedding and after has been greatly appreciated. They did not impose on our day and kept themselves in the background while still managing to take the most beautiful photos. Best videographers ever!!!!
We TRULY recommend Iain and Lisa, they were just PERFECT!! I recognize being very demanding, and everything was so perfect and beautiful, despite the thigh time! They are enthusiastic and creative all the time, including several videocalls before we met in person , to plan everything in every minal details. They are all an energic couple and spark vitality and passion with thier professional job! Our pics are stunning and I can't wait the whole editing...We will certaintly call them again for other occasions!
