October James Photography are Norfolk wedding photographers who travel all over the UK. Photographers October and James have been capturing wonderful weddings for more than a decade and absolutely love what they do. They pride themselves in their ability to blend in so you, your family and friends will feel at ease in their company. Their approach is all about capturing beautiful candid moments and stunning romantic portraits in a relaxed editorial style.

Services Offered
October James Photography offers two first-class and highly experienced wedding photographers who will capture everything during your big day from bride and groom preparations right through to the first dance and evening partying. All images are individually edited with an exceptional attention to detail. A variety of wedding albums and prints are also available.
October and James are recently married themselves so know exactly what their couples are experiencing and are there before and on the day to with advice, tips and recommendations.

Based on the Cambridgeshire / Norfolk border, wedding photographers October James capture beautiful weddings throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and all over the UK. When travelling further afield, they will stay over locally the night before to ensure there is no potential for traffic holdups in the morning of the big day. No matter what the style of wedding, from small ceremonies in Norwich Castle to grand weddings in one England’s spectacular Country Houses, October and James look forward to each day and love pushing each other with new and creative ideas.

As soon as you have your date booked, it is a good idea to get in touch with us. Although some late notice dates will always be available, most couples book around 18 months before the big day

Yes, we use a fantastic online gallery provider offering some great features and online shop. All images can be downloaded in super high resolution

What is not to love
October and James are the best at their job. They are the nicest people you will meet. I am not one to want my pictures taken but my awkwardness was not an issue. They make you feel at ease and you forget they are there (in the nicest way) I cannot get enough of their pictures. If you need a duo to capture your day. Get booking these two.

Phenomenal Photgraphers
October and James are two absolutely amazing photographers, there work is phenomenal. Super easy to book, very friendly and very easy to be around. We booked them 2 years ago, had our engagement shoot and wedding with them. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing work. Words do not do them justice on how amazing they are as people and as photographers!

October & James captured our special day back in August and they did not disappoint! Professional and friendly from the very start. We both felt at ease. The photo's are perfect and beautifully capture our special day. The quality is fantastic and their eye for detail is spot on. Great style, very creative - lucky find
October James were both so much fun, we couldn't believe our luck that we found them. From the start, we couldn't get over how gorgeous their style is and how they were up for anything and everything, from sparklers to smoke bombs to drone shots. Whatever they suggested, we knew it would be incredible when the photos came out, and they did not disappoint! Picking which ones to print has been a real struggle because they are all so beautiful and cleverly shot. We really appreciate the level of care, even taking time to do a site visit before the wedding to scope out the best spaces at the venue. It was very important to us to having 2 photographers so we could both have those all-important photos, and as a bride I was so grateful October was there for the inevitable getting ready crisis -- she was the only one who could figure out that old necklace!

Norfolk Wedding Photography
October and James were a wonderful photography team for our Norfolk-based wedding. They came recommended by my brother, a former professional wedding photographer himself. He had explored some collections shared by various Norfolk-based photographers and found October and James' samples to stand out from the crowd. The stand-out factor was due to (in his opinion) the content of the photography, before any touch-up/photoshop is applied -- a sign that they know what they're doing on the day, rather than relying solely on computer magic later.
And indeed, October and James prepared with us in advance, and then helped pull together an amazing collection of photos across a range of sites. We have rural Norfolk photography, urban photography in Norwich, and amazing garden photography (Plantation Gardens in Norwich).
Of course, after they were left alone to do some further computer magic, we received an even more stunning collection on a brilliant digital platform.
We read carefully through all their contract terms and conditions carefully; but we didn't ever feel like there were any surprise clauses. They treated us fairly and honestly from the outset, and we really appreciated that.
We highly recommend this pair for your photography needs.

Photography dream team
I met October & James at a wedding fair in early 2019 and decided on them before we had a date, venue or even my fiancé had met them! I liked the idea of two photographers to capture different angles, and along with their work, their personalities, chemistry and real sense of humour made my mind up straight away. With our date being secured for Oct 2020, we made sure they were available and after a lovely meeting soon put down the deposit. If you're after a couple of discrete, professional, fun, relaxed and modern photographers they are the dream team – they're amazing and their work even more so. Throughout the pandemic and our date changes, the great communication and understanding from them was appreciated and made the photography side of our wedding a total breeze. They hadn't shot at our venue when we first met as it was new, but it was only a matter of time and when our day finally came round they knew the best shots and still managed to keep it unique to us. I love the way they work together and they really understood what we wanted. My husband and I aren't the biggest fans of our photos being taken but they are so relaxed we actually really enjoyed it and had so much fun on the day, they really help take the edge off and as a couple themselves truly appreciate the moments as well as the images snapped. Their shots will never go unappreciated round our home, not a moment missed and all edited to perfection. The biggest thank you from us both for capturing our day so perfectly and putting together the most beautiful album, couldn't be happier. Matty & Marie x

Wedding photo’s of dreams!!
October and James, thank you thank you thank you! We have got the most amazing wedding photos that we will cherish forever. October goes with the bridal party and James with the groom to gets those special getting ready photos of each of you. It was so fun and relaxed, most photos are just off guard, natural ones and O+J just blended in. We got the most beautiful portrait photos, everything was edited and high quality. They stayed for the duration of the day and there was no faff, timings were stuck to and everything went smoothly. If you want to have a bride and groom perspective and photos that look like they’re fresh out of a magazine - these are your guys!! 100% recommend xxx

Look no further for a wedding photographer!
I can not recommend October James photography enough if you’re planning a wedding, these are your guys. Even before the big day they are so organised and I feel like my ideas were really took onboard.
On our wedding day they fitted in perfectly, we didn’t notice them snapping away, but was always there for photo opportunities. The portraits with just me and my husband was actually a lovely break, and didn’t feel forced at all.
Finally, receiving the photos I was blown away, I knew from booking October you will always get high quality beautiful photos, but these were just magical.
