My name is Kirsty Pender, the person behind Wild Orchid MUA.
A Bridal artist with 4 years of experience and a serious love for the rebellious and pushing boundaries, I love to create looks that make you feel like the ULTIMATE version of yourself. Whether that be understated/natural and glowy OR unapologetically smoky and glam.
I'm looking for the Brides who want to break the mould and not just follow the trends, as well as those Brides who want to look their best selves, but elevated.
Bridal trials to me are not just about testing the makeup, but more about finding your own vibe and owning it. Come wedding morning, I'll show up as early as needed, bring positivity and make everyone feel beautiful and listened to.
Note, I can supply extra makeup artists for larger parties.
I'll be sticking around for final touch ups and content photos for your Bridal party, making sure nothing is out of place before you see your love!
Whether you are after: Fairy soft/ethereal. Smoky sultry glam. Bold pops of colour, Or something that says 'I Do', but with a little bit of spice!
It doesn't just stop at Brides. From full glam nights out, to Prom or personal events to Jaw Dropping Asian Bridal, I'll have you covered.
I'm always taking time to learn with the best, (including Kristina Gasperas) always evolving and always using luxurious makeup in my kit. Your look will be tailored to you, built to last and make up feel like the goddess you are.

What is included in the wedding package?
Tailored packages can be discussed depending on individual needs
How far in advance should I contact you?
As early as possible as to ensure dates are available and also to book in a mandatory bridal makeup trial (ensuring you have the best experience on your wedding day!)
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
Travelling charge will depend on the location and time taken but they average at £20
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
I can personally do up to 8 clients (depending on time restrictions) on the day, if there is more then I shall bring an assistant
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
My payment terms are on the day of the trial for the trial makeup and payment for the bride and bridesmaids on the big day can be made in advance or on the day via bank transfer

Just amazing!
I can’t honestly recommend Kirsty enough! From the beginning she was so responsive. professional and just so lovely. She absolutely nailed my trial and made me feel completely at ease listening to exactly what I wanted, I also trusted her to recommend what she felt was best. On my wedding day Kirsty was just amazing and I have never felt so beautiful. Kirsty also did my mums make up and she absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend any bride to choose Kirsty as you will feel so at ease and absolutely love your make up.

Fantastic MUA!
I'm so glad I booked Kirsty to do my wedding makeup! Not only is she amazingly talented and exceeded all expectations on the brilliant make up she did for me, my sister and my mum, nailing the soft glam look I was after and making us all feel so beautiful on the day, but she is also so lovely and brought the positive vibes during the make up trial and to the wedding morning! I would highly reccomend Kirsty, mot.pnly.was her male up amazing, but she was such a kind and calming influence on the morning. I had a trial and asked for a few changes on the day, she listened and made everything perfect for the big day! The Perfect Makeup Artist for your Wedding Day
I can’t thank Kirsty enough for being such an important part of our wedding day.
From the very beginning, she was so generous with her time, care, and attention to detail. This started at the trial, which I had with my mum who left feeling so confident, and I left reassured knowing exactly what to expect on the day.
On the wedding morning, the makeup was absolutely beautiful (including finding the perfect colour of lashes). Kirsty fit the brief perfectly, making me feel natural, confident, and completely myself. The makeup lasted flawlessly all day! Through happy tears, hugs, and dancing and looked stunning in our photos. She also kept everything calm and on schedule while creating such a fun, relaxed, and special atmosphere, which made the whole morning so enjoyable.

Amazing!!!
Kirsty was a fabulous addition to our getting ready party on my wedding day last week. From the moment we first spoke, nothing was too much to ask. She was always responsive and accommodating and has a very calming presence. My make up stayed all day even though tears and sweat! Thank you so so much for adding to the perfection of our day x

The best makeup artist!
Kirsty did my bridesmaid makeup for my besties wedding and really made me feel my best.
She was so professional and warm and really listened to what I wanted. She smashed my brief of ‘Charlotte Tilbury/soft pillow talk glam’ and I felt so glowy and glam all day.

Perfect make up for prom
Wow! Kirsty listened to what my daughter wanted and made it come to life, she understood her insecurities and elements she wants highlighted and created the most beautiful make up for prom.

The best make up artist I've ever had!
Highly recommend Kirsty, I've had my make up done a few times and she has definitely been the best ever, the make up was stunning and it lasted all day with no issues. She listened and executed it beautifully. Also was happy to answer questions about what shades and products she was using. Absolutely book her you won't regret it :)

I highly recommend Kirsty at Wild Orchid MUA. Kirsty did my bridal make up and also my Bridal party’s make-up. She is very professional and was a calming presence on the morning of the wedding. Absolutely amazing
Kirsty is the most beautiful and talented lady. She made all the bridal party feel amazing and if anything needed changing it was not a problem. She was always at the end of the phone or instagram dms 🤣🤣
