I felt compelled to comment here because our experience with Jamie at Songbird Wedding Videos was completely different. Even in Oliver’s review it’s clear Jamie was professional on the day, discreet, and delivered a highlights film they were happy with. That already says a lot about the quality of his work and his approach. From our experience, Jamie’s style is intentionally documentary and cinematic rather than a long, literal recording of every second of the day. That creative storytelling is exactly why we chose Songbird. Our wedding films were beautifully edited and captured the atmosphere and emotion of the day perfectly. It’s also worth remembering that wedding films are creative edits of the same footage, so highlights naturally appear across different versions of the final films. That’s very normal in wedding videography and certainly not “lazy”. As for the turnaround time, we also waited longer than we had hoped, but once we received the films it was obvious how much care, editing skill and craftsmanship had gone into them. Quality work does take time, and in our case it was absolutely worth the wait. Out of more than 150 reviews, this appears to be the only negative one, which really speaks for itself. Our experience with Jamie was fantastic and the films he created for us are something we will treasure forever. Songbird Wedding Videos is absolutely worth it and we would recommend Jamie without hesitation.

Shelly was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start, she was so easy to be around—calm, friendly, and just got on with things without making anything feel staged or awkward. On the day, she blended in perfectly but still managed to catch all the moments that actually mattered. Nothing felt forced, and looking back at the content, it really feels like us and how the day actually happened, not something overly posed or unnatural. She’s got such a good eye for the little details as well as the big moments, and it all comes together in a way that just tells the story properly. It’s the kind of thing you’ll keep going back to, not just watch once. Also just a genuinely lovely person to have around—loads of our guests said the same. Super organised, no stress, and just quietly made everything better. Couldn’t recommend her enough if you want something that feels real and not overdone. Forever grateful Shelly, Thankyou x

Dean was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He was relaxed, friendly, and so much fun to have around on the day, making everyone feel completely at ease. The teaser film is everything we could have dreamed of and more, it perfectly captures the atmosphere, emotions, and joy of the day. Watching it brings all those memories flooding back. If you’re considering booking Dean, do it, you won’t regret it!!

We were impressed in every way by the part Hadrien and Ben played in making our Wedding Day so memorable. They did more than we imagined would be needed, showing initiative and resourcefulness. Ahead of the time, they found lovely backgrounds for our photos and anticipated everything we may have wished for in advance. On the day, the happy atmosphere was captured in their beautiful photographs. They were always in the right place at the right time, but always discreet. The biggest and best surprise was the video collage! They had used a drone for aerial footage! Communication (before and after the wedding) was faultless. We couldn’t have wished for more professional photographers who were also such lovely people.

This is a very belated review as Chris captured our October 2024 wedding, but watching the footage back now has just reaffirmed everything I’m going to write! We had debated about whether or not to get a videographer for our wedding as we had already secured an awesome photographer, but saw Chris’ work through the Un Wedding Book of Love, and that he had an offer, and it was meant to be! Although our wedding was in Glasgow, he was happy to travel. He just got our whole vibe and was on board to just get involved on the day and capture moments as they happened - no posing or staging, just genuine happy moments. A standout of Chris’ attitude of this to me was seeing him on the dancefloor with all our guests, just enjoying the party!!! It was so unintrusive and exactly what we wanted. He worked seamlessly with our guests and photographers. Getting the finished footage back was an extra treat to look forward to and get through the wedding blues. We love watching the memories from the day as it was - the whole films are imbued with the happiness and joy that characterised our day. We opted for a longer film, a separate speeches film, and a short reel to share with family & friends on social media.

Servo were amazing at capturing our April wedding! It felt like the team really took our vision into consideration, especially as they were able to source the vintage camera I'd asked for and create some beautiful cinematography - thank you, Zak! It definitely helped that we'd had the opportunity to meet a few times before the day, and Harry made sure the team fully understood exactly what we were looking for. I felt really comfortable with the whole team on the day, especially when shooting the intimate moments just before I walked down the aisle. Both Louis and Aaron made sure we had every candid shot, and we hardly noticed them as they moved around the venue capturing footage of us and our guests. I'm also really glad we decided to go with a wedding film alongside the photography. We were initially unsure whether we'd actually rewatch the footage, but Harry helped us create a plan that focused on candid moments and memories we otherwise would have missed in the whirlwind of the day. Louis did a fantastic job editing the video, and it's honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We couldn't recommend Servo and the team more highly. Thank you all so much!

I can’t speak highly enough of Paul & Lou. Not only are our wedding photos so incredibly beautiful (you wouldn’t know we were all absolutely freezing!) but Paul & Lou were so attentive, organised and incredibly thoughtful across the whole day. From organising rowdy boys, to giving our best man our rings that had ended up at the wrong end of the venue, Paul and Lou were our wedding day heroes. They took two incredibly unconfident people and created the most stunning photos that we’ll cherish forever. And as for the videos- we didn’t know whether to have the wedding filmed but it is the one thing I’m recommending to everyone now. We are unbelievably grateful to the incredibly talented, kind and down to earth Paul and Lou xxx

We booked Zoe as our wedding content creator and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. She was so friendly, calm and professional and fitted in perfectly with our photographer and videographer. The content we received was amazing and captured so many special moments we would have otherwise missed. Having the videos straight away was so special and meant we could relive the day almost instantly with friends and family. We would 100% recommend Zoe to any couple thinking about booking a content creator.

Wow! Martin was amazing and our wedding videos are perfect! I was ‘that’ bride who didn’t think we needed a videographer, however after 18 months of planning I suddenly had a panic about 3 months before that actually we did! (apparently a brides biggest regret is not having a videographer) I spoke with Martin and luckily our date was available, I also really wanted drone images. We did not have the budget at this point for a videographer so I went away put a plan together and finally booked him about 6 weeks before. Literally BEST decision we made! The videos are perfect and capture the day exactly how we and our guests remember it. We didn’t even know he was there filming most of the day. If your budget can stretch we absolutely recommend the drone footage it just adds so much more depth to the video. Everything about Martin and his team was fantastic, he made everything so easy

Perfection! Jonno was incredible throughout our wedding day! It truly shows in the work he does. Jonno was attentive and kind throughout those hectic wedding day moments, keeping things in line and capturing everything possible. We are SO truly blessed to have had Jonno participate in our wedding. Jonno was professional and personable and captured every sweet moment of one of the biggest days of our lives.
