Previously Deputy Beauty Editor at HELLO! and Beauty Writer at Woman & Home, she began her career interning at British Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Get The Gloss while simultaneously achieving a degree in journalism.

Although Emma loves everything about weddings – the drinks, the laughter, the dancing, and the bride’s dress reveal – she can’t help but love the overall feeling of hope and positivity that radiates from the happy couple. She loves witnessing two people coming together to celebrate their love and sharing it with their family and friends.

Emma’s Favourite Part of a Wedding:

Whenever Emma attends a wedding, she always makes sure that when everyone’s looking at the bride walking down the aisle, she glances over to see the groom’s face. The look of pure love, adoration, excitement and giddiness are written all over his face and she finds it an immensely heartwarming moment. 

Emma’s Best Piece of Wedding Advice:

The one piece of wedding advice Emma would share would be for the bride to not try any new beauty products or treatments in the month leading up to the big day and stick to what they know works.

If brides are planning on having treatments like a spray tan or gel manicure, she suggests having a trial run a few months beforehand so they know what to expect when it’s time to book in for the wedding date. Things like skin reactions, dyed hair disasters and dodgy tans can happen to anyone!

Emma’s Proudest Career Moment to Date:

In terms of her career, Emma’s proudest moment is writing a first-person account of her experience of severe perioral dermatitis, a skin condition which can develop when you’ve used too many active skincare ingredients and your skin barrier becomes impaired and starts to develop a red itchy rash. 

With cases on the rise among women, she was touched to receive so many responses from Daily Mail readers sharing their struggle with it and she regularly dishes out advice on how to fix it and why a stripped-back skincare routine is far superior to one with lots of unnecessary and potentially harmful steps.
