The Gameskeeper’s inn is the most incredible venue to have your wedding. The venue itself is just an incredible place surrounded by the gorgeous Yorkshire dales. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful big shout out to Angela , Chris and Harriet for all your amazing hard work and helping us to create the wedding of our dreams. The food was just incredible as well. Once again would very highly this venue for anyone wanting to get married in Yorkshire, it is an absolute gem.

We could not be happier with our decision to host our wedding at The Tithe Barn! The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely magical. The catering was a massive hit. The food was superb, and our guests are still raving about how delicious every single course was. We were especially thrilled that they allowed us to add Yorkshire puddings to our menu, which were an absolute triumph and a huge crowd-pleaser! What truly blew us away was how the venue staff helped us execute a massive secret. We organized surprise wedding singers with the venue team, and they kept the secret perfectly. They coordinated the timing, sound, and logistics flawlessly so that the surprise went off without a hitch. The staff went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and unforgettable. We highly recommend The Tithe Barn to any couple looking for a spectacular wedding experience!

Not just a venue some members of the team now feel like family. Cannot fault one thing at all. The bridal suite is a tad dated in decor but it really doesn't matter considering the size and the shower. All the staff but especially the wedding coordinator were wonderful. She bent over backwards to help us when we honestly thought that we would bave to cancel it due to a personal issue of mine making it look like we wouldnt be able to afford our wedding. We couldnt afford our original plan at all but Jess did eveything she could to help us plan something that was doable. The setting is just gorgeous with the lake and even if you were to marry inside there barn, where we had out reception is just stunning and the food was the best ever, all our guests raved about it.

Thank you very much to Helen and the team for making our wedding day at The Devonshire Arms so special! We had the most incredible day celebrating our wedding in the beautiful grounds and buildings of the hotel with our guests. We were incredibly fortunate with the weather, and were able to have an outdoor ceremony on the lawns with views of rolling hills and Beamsley Beacon. The food, drinks and service were incredible, and the day really couldn't have been better! We had high expectations of what we would want the day to be, and Helen and team blew us out of the water. What a special place to get married surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside. Nothing was too much trouble for the team either in the planning stages or on the day itself, and we were able to customise the day with our own special touches, ideas, and supplier choices. Thank you to all the team for making our wedding day so special! We (and some of our guests) also stayed over the night of the wedding - the rooms were immaculately presented with lots of lovely amenities, the breakfast in The Garden Room was fabulous, and we particularly enjoyed visiting the spa the following day. Gorgeous place!

My wife and I held our wedding celebrations at the Devonshire Fell in October 2019. We opted for the 2 night Devonshire package. The ceremony was held at Bolton Abbey Priory. The hotel and area has always been a special place to us both, and the setting of the Fell is exceptional! From the first initial meeting with Hannah we knew this was the venue for us. Hannah was the right balance of friendly and professional throughout all the planning, and dealt with any issues promptly - without her I feel the whole process would have been much more stressful for us both. Once the big weekend arrived the whole staff at the Devonshire Fell were amazing, from the moment we arrived (‘Relax, we do a lot of weddings, don’t worry about a thing’) right through to check out. Everything went perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special day - It really was the best day of our lives. We can highly recommend the Devonshire Fell to host your wedding. It’s a great venue, which is exclusive to you and your guests making the day more intimate. The staff could not do enough to help us, our guests or the dogs. Everyone loved it! Thank you all at the Devonshire Fell!

I have to say that Catherine and I were absolutely over the moon with the day. It was absolutely over and above our expectations and we thought all the staff were astounding in the lead up to the day, and were faultless from start to finish last Saturday. Miranda – a special mention has to go to the food which was perfect, and we had so many compliments from people who absolutely loved it. Once again, thank you from Catherine, Seb and I for what was the perfect start to life as the Harrisons!

A massive thank you for making Silvana & Eddie's wedding day so special and amazing. We got some fabulous photos of the guests enjoying the Farm experience. I wanted to let you know that the guests at the wedding not only said the venue was fabulous ... "never had so much fun at a wedding", "never laughed so much" Thank you again for making our memories so special.

The main things we wanted for our wedding were a casual and laid back atmosphere, an untraditional venue and great food and that's exactly what we got at EK at the Mill. The building itself is stunning with plenty of beautiful and historic features alongside trendy and modern touches. The only extra decor we added were candles and flowers, which is testament to how gorgeous the space is. There's a real cosy and homely atmosphere and all of our guests commented on how special it felt. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we felt really looked after during the planning and on the night itself. The food was all delicious and beautifully presented, we had so many compliments from our guests. We took a bit of a gamble by being EK at the Mill's first wedding but it was so worth it. We are so proud to say it's where we got married. Thank you for making our day so memorable and special.

We booked to stay in the River View cottage at Hanlith Hall for the October school holidays with the kids and we were not disappointed. River View was very spacious for our family of 6. We all had a fantastic time. When we arrived we had a little hiccup trying to get into the wrong cottage (whoops) but Rory was at hand and was very responsive for the whole time we were there. There is plenty to do around the area. The view from the lounge window was absolutely beautiful. My kids loved watching the cows from the window, especially when we were lucky enough to catch the farmer feeding them. It was lovely relaxing in the hot tub after a long day hiking. We never wanted to come home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful country getaway.
