We wanted a small wedding but not merely in a registry office. We were told about Langley Castle by a fellow hiker who had got married there the previous year, he showed us some pictures and when we got home we looked into it.... It's a stunning venue. The cost on a weekday isn't that much more than a registry office plus dinner afterwards, in the grand scheme of it, but you get soooo much more! Our wedding co-ordinator, James, was brilliant from start to end, last minute changes were not a problem. The package included 2 nights staying in the castle itself and evening meal and breakfast each morning. The food is fantastic!! The service brilliant. Oh, and the registrars, such lovely ladies, made it so easy - my husband is badly dyslexic and we had an awful experience with the registrar in Salford when we went to give our notice of marriage, these ladies were the polar opposite! Would we recommend - ABSOLUTELY!! We still think we're dreaming!!

The perfect day, Bobbie, Bethan and all the team went above and beyond to make our day so perfect! Every time I got a little bit stressed planning along the way Bobbie and the team took over everything and made it so relaxing Our wedding day was absoloutly faultless and that was entirely down to the team at Slaley Hall. The team were incredibly helpful and kind and helped us create our perfect day. The little details really elevated the whole thing and working with such a professional team removed a lot of the stress from us in the run up to and on the big day. Lauren our coordinator and Tia the on the day coordinator were first class and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Annie who manages the accommodation was also incredibly helpful. 10 out of 10 across the board would highly recommend.

Naomi made our wedding so magical. From the initial enquiry to follow up emails we felt as though she and the Castle team genuinely cared for our wedding as opposed to a venue just trying to say the right things to get us to commit. We chose the ‘Just The Two Of Us’ package. We wanted the marriage and not the ‘trying to please everybody’ huge wedding that we have both had before. Naomi clearly explained all of the options available to us and we opted for the Kings Hall. It was so grand; the perfect setting! We found the payment options to be very good with a deposit to secure then payment nearer the wedding date. We live in Plymouth, Devon, so we’re completely unfamiliar with everything in the area so we were sent a package with multiple recommended hotels, photographers and the like. This made life very easy for us! On the big day, we were made to feel like royalty, like we were living our fairytale. We had the most beautiful spaces to get ready in and Naomi was very calming - we felt like we had known her for years actually! Overall, we can highly recommend Bamburgh Castle for a wedding venue no matter if it’s a huge wedding or simply just the two of you. For such a grand venue it felt so intimate. From the bottom of our hearts, we can’t thank Naomi, Gemma and the team for their professionalism, kindness and love.

We had our beautiful wedding day at Newton Hall on 24 February 2026 and wow what a day it was. It went above and beyond everything we ever hoped for. The venue itself is absolutely stunning but seeing our little details that have just been thoughts in our minds for months come to life just added a special personal touch. The food was perfect, the drinks were flowing, but the best part about this venue is their staff. Every single member is friendly, approachable, helpful, and eager to help you have your dream day. Firstly thank you to Hannah our wedding coordinator who looked after us from booking right up until the day of, accommodating everything we desired for our big day and being a pleasure to work with. Andrew our Master of Ceremonies was amazing and made us at ease and feel confident on what was happening at every stage of the day. The staff on the front desk are so friendly and have a warm presence And finally Lucy, who looked after us both the night before and on our wedding day. She was absolutely incredible, she made sure we had everything we needed, that the rooms were all perfect and the way we wished for them to be, kept checking I was alright throughout the day but especially in the morning as I was so nervous. Honestly I don’t know how we would have coped without her at all!! I wish we could get married every day just to be able to experience it all with you guys again, mark the date in your diaries we will most certainly be up every anniversary for a nights stay!

We got married at Charlton Hall and it was perfect. Roma, Matt and the team went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly, and we could not have been happier with our experience. We had so many comments from our guests about how quirky the venue & accommodation was, and about the amazing food that was served. The whole day was so relaxed, and nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married somewhere a little less traditional. We can’t wait to come back & visit! Emily & Ross

Where to begin?! Getting married at Ellingham Hall was the best experience of our lives! From viewing the venue for the first time to receiving a follow-up call a few days afterwards, at every step of the way, we were made to feel like the venue existed just for us! The quality of the service given to us by every member of staff we encountered was second to none. We made people aware that we had booked an award winning venue and once you have been through the whole process and got married, you can clearly see why! Our wedding co-ordinator Beth felt more like a friend than someone who was doing her job and she was seriously top quality by calming any nerves, planning all the little touches, delivering drinks and breakfasts, even steaming dresses for us! The multiple phone-calls and correspondence throughout the build-up was fantastic! Debbie checking in on us before check-out was a lovely touch and the pride that the team have in the venue they run is evident for all to see. Operations Manager Hanna and the member of the team who was assisting with check-in, taking photos and serving the wedding breakfast also left a big impression! From the groundsman and night porter to the kitchen, bar and floor staff and everyone else behind the scenes, every one of the team’s presence was felt even though they were in the background, quietly ensuring the event went as planned. If any couples read this during their wedding search please do yourself a favour and at the very least, check Ellingham Hall out if not choose them!, we’re still on a high a week later! All of our guests were blown away by the venue and were full of compliments. Our hearts left even fuller than they did when we arrived, our bearded dragon and golden retriever were able to play their starring roles and nothing we requested was unachievable. Thank you Ellingham Hall, it was the best wedding we’ve ever been to! 😉❤️

Northside Farm was the first venue we went to view whilst we were looking and nothing else compared. The venue is absolutely stunning and we really loved the fact we could have a 3 day celebration with friends and family being able to stay in the cottage’s and pods. The planning process after we booked was super easy. Samantha was really helpful over emails and we had frequent meetings which really helped us get a feel for the venue to see how to day would run. No request was too much and they made sure to make the day personal to us. On the day our 1 year old was ill so I was quite stressed and not able to organise as much as I had hoped. However, Samantha and the team were fantastic. Samantha had really listened to everything we’d said over the meetings and the day before to how we wanted to day to be, so the day ran perfectly. They included all the small details we’d mentioned to make it extra special and it meant I could relax and enjoy the day without having to worry about timings, decorations etc. Every guest commented on the quality of the food and how great the staff were. We absolutely loved it. I cannot recommend Northside Farm enough!

What a fantastic day we had at my sons wedding 11th May. They had an outdoor ceremony as the sun was out and it was a beautiful day. The hotel arranged the chairs in front of the gazebo, it looked amazing. Following this the drinks reception was held with staff bringing out the canapes with a smile . The Wedding Reception room looked fantastic, it was the largest of the event rooms and is very grand and majestic, dressed up it looked wonderful. The food went down well and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Staff looked after us all into the evening where we danced the night away. Guests commented on how beautiful the hotel and its surroundings were and that they would like to return. The rooms were lovely and no complaints. The few children there were able to enjoy the spa pool for a short while and the maze . The wedding day dresser was Gemma Connell who did an amazing job. Photographer was Stephen Beecroft who was very professional and helped the lads with their pocket dressing! Staff were very helpful and one member of staff even brought a forgotten guest outfit on his way in to work after a meet up in a local carpark to be given it!

I genuinely cannot rate Healey Barn highly enough. We had the most incredible, unforgettable day and feel so lucky to have chosen this venue for our wedding. From the very first phone call, the team went above and beyond. They fitted us in to view the venue the same day we rang and even welcomed us to bring our dog along. When we arrived we knew this was the place for us. Healey Barn is absolutely stunning inside, and the surrounding countryside is equally beautiful. Despite being a couple of hours from home, it somehow felt like home. We also loved being able to book Healey Hall for accommodation and spend the wedding weekend with our closest friends and family. While the venue itself is beautiful, it’s the staff who make Healey Barn exceptional. Even though they host many weddings throughout the year, they somehow make you feel as though yours is the only one that matters. Throughout the planning process, nothing was ever too much trouble. Any questions we had were answered quickly (often the same day), and when it came to the wedding itself, everything ran absolutely perfectly. We interacted with most members of the team throughout the process, all of whom were fantastic, but special mention to Leanne for our planning meeting, and Liv and Jack, who coordinated our day so perfectly. They were calm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. Our guests have not stopped talking about how incredible the venue, staff, and food were. Almost everyone commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and some of them are very hard to impress!). If you’re considering Healey Barn, don’t hesitate. We’re already looking forward to coming back for a feast night — and reliving the day all over again.
