Landmark Wedding Venues in Northumberland

The Most Perfect Wedding Weekend We got married at Kielder Waterside Tipis last week, and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend. From the very beginning, Danielle and James were incredible. They helped us organise everything in the run-up to the wedding, and on the day itself they were phenomenal. They took so much of the worry off our minds and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They and their whole team went above and beyond, adding thoughtful special touches and brilliant ideas that made an already amazing day even more special. Getting married outside, right next to the water, was absolutely beautiful and made the setting feel so magical. Having the Aurora Lodge right next to the venue was another huge bonus — it felt wonderfully private while still being so convenient, and made the whole weekend even more enjoyable. We opted for street food, which went down incredibly well with all our guests, and the venue were fantastic at catering for our vegan and gluten-free guests. Everyone was so well looked after, and there was genuinely something for everyone. We honestly couldn’t recommend Kielder Waterside Tipis, Danielle, James and their amazing team enough. They were brilliant throughout the entire experience and helped create the most beautiful, relaxed and memorable wedding day. We are so grateful for everything they did for us and wouldn’t change a thing.
