In the heart of the Northumberland countryside, Northside Farm is the perfect location for a vintage-style wedding. It offers all the charm of a farmyard setting. Whether couples envision sipping Pimms and lemonade in the fields, drinking tea from vintage teacups, or nibbling dainty homemade cakes, all is possible. Best of all, the venue is offered on an exclusive-use basis which eliminates any need to worry about onlookers and other wedding parties. Away from the corporate world of mass-produced weddings and chain venues, Northside Farm is run by a husband and wife team with a passion for creating breathtaking weddings.
Facilities and Capacity
This venue boasts a lovingly restored rustic wedding barn which is perfect for a romantic wedding, large or small. There are 10 wigwams in the orchard too, and four fairytale cottages, so couples and their guests can stay at the farm. Guests will have exclusive use of the whole farm, including the Wigwam glamping pods and plenty of extra space perfect for that festival feel. Newlyweds can have more than just an incredible wedding day, they can enjoy a whole wedding weekend of celebrations surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
Services Offered
Understanding that each bride and groom is different, Northside Farm offers bespoke wedding packages tailor-made to suit each individual couple. They will work with the nearlyweds to make their wedding dreams a reality. Couples will benefit from the use of a dedicated event coordinator who will be there every step of the way to ensure the wedding is everything they have wished for. They also work with handpicked local suppliers to make the day truly special – so each wedding will help to support local businesses too. The owners believe that the couple should celebrate their day the way they want, so they put very few restrictions and encourage individual creativity.

Exceptional Venue!
Choosing Northside Farm was one of the best decisions we made! The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect and ran smoothly.
From the initial planning stages to the final moments, the staff were incredibly eager to help and were consistently friendly and professional. They took such good care of us and all our guests, making everyone feel welcome.
We received so many compliments on the location and the service. Especially the food and canapés which we feel was great value for money!! The grounds are beautiful, giving the most unreal backgrounds to all the photos and all the accommodation was spotless, making it the ideal space for the wedding party and close family and friends.
We’d highly recommend for your special day!

The most amazing venue ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We are so over the moon with the service we received at northside farm and the venue itself is absolutely amazing and exactly what we wanted and needed.
Samantha and her staff have been so unbelievably perfect and accommodating since we first enquired about the venue over a year ago. From the beginning, Samantha has shown nothing but professionalism, support and kindness towards us and nothing was ever too much or a problem to do.
The venue was just perfect and having friends and family able to stay the weekend in the pods and cottages made it all extra special.
Everyone raved about the venue, the food and the drink which was so so good.
They even managed to arrange a surprise flyover by the red arrows! What more could we ask for ;-)

The most perfect wedding day 7.6.2025
We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding in June 2025- everything was absolutely perfect and that was all thanks to Sam and the team.
From start to finish Sam was so lovely, helpful and communicative- the day went so smoothly and everyone commented on how lovely the staff were.
The venue is just amazing, such a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces- perfect for out VERY mixed day of heavy rain and sunshine.
A big selling point was the accommodation- so many options on site for our guests and the attention to detail in the farmhouse and cottages was amazing.
The food was 10/10 - and there was ALOT of it- people still mention it to us now!
If we were to do it again, we honestly wouldn't change a thing.
It was the most perfect, laid back, relaxed venue and everything we could have asked for.
Just to note aswell, its very accessible and wheelchair friendly which is great if you have older or disabled guests.

Our perfect venue
We are so happy that we booked Northside Farm for our wedding celebrations in July 25. Sam, their wedding co-ordinater, was so lovely and professional. She responded to any questions we had very quickly, helped us bring our vision to life and ensured the day ran smoothly. We really appreciated how relaxed they were. Allowing us to really tailor our wedding to whatever we wanted. Having the majority of our guests onsite for the whole weekend - in range of accommodation options to suit them - made it really special. They really got to know each other and we got to max out our time with them. Many people commented (and are still commenting) on how great the food was. We had some trickier dietary requirements and Emma, their caterer, made everything so easy. The service and the turnaround of the room were top notch. We had the best weekend ever! Thank you Northside Farm!

July 2025 wedding!
We recently celebrated our wedding at Northside Farm, and it was truly the most magical experience from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—whether it’s the breathtaking views, beautiful accommodation options, elegant interiors, or beautifully maintained grounds, every corner was picture-perfect.
The staff at Northside Farm went above and beyond to make our day seamless and special. The team are so amazing and welcoming. From the initial planning stages to the final send-off, they were organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our festival wedding vision come to life. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and their experience really showed in how smoothly everything ran.
The food was amazing—everything tasted great, and there was a really good variety that all our guests enjoyed. The Gluten Free options were brilliant and very accommodating.
Our guests are still raving about the ambiance, the setup, and how beautiful everything looked. The venue offered a perfect blend of romance, charm, and sophistication—we couldn’t have asked for a better setting to start our new chapter.
We are forever grateful for the memories we made here!

Amazing venue & staff
Perfect from start to finish. Communication was great, email replies were usually the same day. Everything on the day went to plan, Kirsty our wedding coordinator was amazing, bringing me an espresso martini on the morning of the wedding after a sleepless night. We had an amazing day. Wish I could do it all again! All our guests commented on the food and how good it was….especially the steak and ale pie.
The facilities like the shared kitchen were perfect for the guests who stayed up extra late once the party was over but weren’t quite ready for bed. The staff who opened the bar on the Sunday for us were so lovely too. Could not fault the venue or staff in any way

The most perfect, relaxed venue
I can’t recommend Northside Farm enough!
From the very first meeting to the wedding day itself the service we received was warm and professional.
On the wedding day, Samantha (Events manager) was so attentive and there to meet our every need, question or worry. The staff, the food, the service was just incredible. We really did have the most perfect day. The only down side is that it’s over!
If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, rustic wedding venue with first class quality and service, Northside Farm is for you! We just loved it!

Relaxed, rustic farm wedding weekend
We got married in September 2024 at Northside Farm. From initially booking our wedding, right through to the wedding weekend, the communication and service from Olivia and team were fantastic. Replies to emails were mostly on the day, sometimes after 10pm at night!
We met a few times to arrange plans. This enabled us to have a wedding that was truly personal to us, we chose the menu, drinks and layout of the wedding weekend. Nothing was too much, Olivia and team went above and beyond to ensure we had the best weekend ever!
We would recommend this to anyone looking for a rustic, relaxed farm wedding. Please book a tour or attend an open day to see for yourself!

July Wedding Weekend
We have just had the most amazing weekend wedding at Northside Farm, the barn and surrounding areas were beautiful and very well presented.
We were a big group and the staff couldn't be more accommodating or helpful, Sam and Kirsty made me feel at ease throughout the planning process and over the weekend.
There was lots of choices available for catering and the food was beautiful and very large portions and the evening buffet was regularly topped up.
We were a big group and the staff couldn't be more accommodating or helpful, Sam and Kirsty made me feel at ease throughout the planning process and over the weekend.
