I’m Kate Izak, a UK wedding photographer based in Winchester, Hampshire, specialising in modern weddings across the South of England, the UK, and abroad.
I don’t just photograph weddings I observe, feel, and translate moments into something timeless. My work is a blend of documentary honesty and editorial elegance, created for couples who value depth, style, and something quietly different. I’m guided by light, emotion, and a calm, intuitive presence.
My approach is natural and thoughtful, with a strong focus on real moments, genuine connection, and the atmosphere of the day. I let weddings unfold as they happen, gently guiding when needed and stepping back when moments speak for themselves. It’s about knowing when to observe quietly and when a little direction helps something that comes with experience and a calm, reassuring presence.
My work blends honest, documentary storytelling with relaxed, well-composed portraits that never feel stiff or overly posed. The result is imagery that feels modern, emotional, and true to how your day actually felt, while still looking beautifully considered.
From our first conversation through to final delivery, I want the whole experience to feel easy and personal. My wedding collections include full-day coverage, carefully edited images in both colour and black & white, a private online gallery for viewing and downloading, and a beautifully presented USB keepsake.
I regularly photograph weddings across Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Somerset, the Cotswolds, and London, and I’m always happy to travel further afield for destination celebrations.
