We honestly cannot put into words how incredible our experience was from start to finish.

Chloe and Mel were amazing from the moment we booked. They were so attentive, helpful and genuinely excited for us, which made the build-up to our wedding even more special. Communication was always clear, and they were constantly on hand to answer any questions, big or small. They also worked their magic behind the scenes, wrangling our vendors and coordinating all the little details, which meant the day itself ran so smoothly and took so much of the organising stress off our shoulders.

They couldn’t have been more supportive in helping us get everything set up, and the house itself was absolutely beautiful. Having almost 30 of our favourite people around us for a few days before and after the wedding was such a joy and made the whole experience feel like so much more than just one day.

East Afton itself is simply the most stunning place to get married. Everywhere you look there is somewhere beautiful to sit, relax and soak in those really special moments. From the beautiful grounds to the little corners that gave us the chance to pause and take everything in, it felt like the perfect setting for our wedding. Having such a beautiful and peaceful place to share with our favourite people made the whole experience even more magical.

On the wedding day itself, Lisa and her team of staff were absolutely brilliant. They made everything run perfectly and took care of every little detail. Every part of the day went even better than we could have hoped. Everything looked beautiful, the day flowed like a dream, and our guests were so incredibly well looked after.

We constantly had a topped-up glass in our hands, and the team somehow managed to be there for every moment — helping organise the games, photos, food, disco and all the little fun moments that made the day so special. We genuinely didn’t have to worry about a thing.

People always say your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life, and they are right. It truly was. We couldn’t have been happier if we tried.

Our experience with east afton was absolutely amazing, the house, grounds and venue were beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding and stay was exactly what we wanted. Chloe, Mel and the whole East Afton team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Having the venue from Thursday through to Monday made for an incredible, stress-free weekend. You're super close to the beach and having the Cow and the Aqua Park on site gave us plenty of exciting activities around the wedding day itself. Plus the cinema room on site went down great for the football!

The wedding day itself was a breeze, Lisa was on-site all day to manage vendor co-ordination and I didn't have to worry about a thing!

The wedding weekend at East Afton Farmhouse went like a dream. Both in the run-up to the event and on the day - the staff were amazing - very responsive, nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their advice, having run so many weddings there before. It is a beautiful venue with many of our guests staying at Tapnell Farm which was managed equally well by the team. Special shout out to Chloe, Mel and Lisa and also Jo from Afton Blooms, Kevin from The Seasoned Kitchen, Fat Shaun (the hog roast was amazing on the night before) , Josh from Wightwood Pizza and Jason, our amazing photographer.

We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than East Afton Farmhouse. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere special, but the reality exceeded every expectation.

The setting is absolutely beautiful — relaxed, romantic, and full of character — with the most stunning countryside surroundings that made our day feel magical from beginning to end. Every part of the venue photographed beautifully and created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony streaming to the cinema room, wedding breakfast and evening party.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the team. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with such care, professionalism, and warmth. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, but we always felt supported and completely looked after.

All the staff at East Afton are lovely and extremely helpful, they made wedding planning extremely easy and stress-free with their range of in-house services available. The accommodation and venue were absolutely stunning and they went above and beyond to make our day truly special.

No need for a wedding planner with this venue- they do everything and more for you. I couldn't have hoped for a more helpful, pro-active, organised team to have walked us through the wedding process. Even more than this, the venue is immaculately set up for weddings and just so beautiful. It was truly a dream.

East Afton are a really supportive team to help you plan your wedding day. Chloe and Mel have been great helping us to organise the finer details and ensure everything was prepared ready for the day. East Afton is an ideal wedding venue for all your guests. Accommodation, multiple barns, in house catering and floristry, it has it all! It made it easy for us to plan our wedding with limited stress. We would highly recommend!

We held our wedding reception at East Afton on 5th November 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Farmhouse and Annex and found the accommodation to be spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed wedding stay. It really added to the whole experience.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and hardly needs any decoration, though we added some autumnal touches of our own. Being able to set up two days before made the whole process incredibly smooth and took away so much of the usual pre-wedding stress.

Chloe and Mel were fantastic throughout the planning stages. They put our minds at ease, helped us shape the schedule, and were always quick with solutions whenever we had questions. I visited the venue multiple times and they were consistently welcoming and supportive. They even allowed me to bring my parents—who don’t live on the island—so they could be involved in the planning. Their advice on layout and décor was so helpful, and they contacted all our suppliers in advance, which took a huge amount of pressure off us. We had quite a few extras, including a beer pong table, a foosball table, and a DJ, and everything was coordinated seamlessly. They even helped me organise a last-minute bouquet for my mum after I realised I’d left her gift on the mainland, which was very thoughtful.

On the day itself, Lisa was our coordinator, and she was absolutely brilliant. She brought the whole schedule to life with such calmness and precision. I felt a bit stressed before the reception began, but she was so reassuring and warm. The entire team was attentive and professional, and so many of our guests commented on how great the service was—especially how their prosecco glasses were constantly topped up during welcome drinks! Everything flowed exactly as we’d hoped, and the evening was truly fabulous.

Overall, East Afton gave us the perfect reception and we couldn't be more grateful. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with an exceptional team who genuinely care, we can’t recommend it enough

What can say ! East Afton farmhouse blew us away the moment we saw it and we knew it was the venue for us! We we so grateful to the team for making anything possible right down to the last thing! I don’t even know where to begin!!! East Afton farmhouse is the venue of dreams!! It’s got everything you needand more. The team were unbelievable, Chloe the manager was super responsive from the beginning when I emailed to come and see the venue, she replied straight away and I was there within 30 mins. Any question I had Chloe replied almost instantly, and nothing was too much trouble or too hard. I’m a perfectionist so I was nervous but my wedding at East Afton wasn’t just perfect it was unreal. Mel the coordinator was truly amazing!! She made the whole day run sooo smoothly even rained the entire day I can’t even remember any rain! I didn’t have to think of anything I just relaxed and enjoyed myself. Mel was “the clock” she was unbelievably personable with all of my family and friends and remembered everyone’s names!!
The venue also have stationary, props, a florist and caterers so it’s an all in one package. Made my planning process a whole lot easier.
We also did a day 2 at the venue. Mel arrived in the morning and set up all the previous day’s decorations so when I came down from being ready the place was transformed.
These guys really know how to do weddings perfectly. I couldn’t recommend them enough. If I was to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you xxxxx
