Wedding Cakes in Gloucestershire

Wow! We tried many delicious cakes before finding Susanna’s, but hers were exactly what we were looking for. She made our 3 tier wedding cake with Victoria sponge, black forest gateaux and cherry and almond. Her flavours are absolutely exquisite and all of our guests agreed – we did not have any cake left over at all! The cake was also beautifully presented and looks amazing in our wedding photos. Susanne’s taster kit was generous and, of course, delicious, making it hard to choose just three of her flavours! As our wedding was local, she also very kindly delivered our cake to the venue. Thank you, Susanna!

Marta is absolutely incredible, our wedding cake was hands down the best cake we have ever tasted! We found Marta online while looking for a supplier close to our venue. We were almost 100miles away from her but we got in touch, organised a zoom chat and she even posted down samples for us to try! We were blown away with her flavours and knew straight away we needed Bohemian Bakery to make our wedding cake. On the lead up to the day, we went back and forth over flavours but Marta put us at ease and told us we didn't need to make a decision until around a month before our date. She kept in touch the entire time, was always so quick to respond to our emails and she made the whole experience such a pleasure. She got in touch with our florist who was making flowers for the cake and organised to meet on the morning of the wedding so she could collect the flowers and arrange them on the cake. On the day itself Marta was there to set up the cake, the cake flowers and our topper which we had left out labelled for her. Everyone commented on how lovely our cake looked, and then later all our guests were amazed by the cake and how incredible it tasted. Our only regret is that we didn't order a bigger one so we had more to keep for ourselves after the big day!! Thank you so much Marta, your talent is phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect cake - it was exactly how we pictured it!

Emma was a delight and made what I had in my head a reality - it was even better than I could ever of imagined! A showstopper. Needless to say the most delightful cake I’ve ever tasted. A face to face consultation then actually drawings of what it could look like options along with samples in the post to decide flavours… which was a hard choice. Would most definitely highly recommend Emma’s absolute artistry, flare & knowledge of the cake world. Made our celebration complete

The cakes were to die for - everyone was raving about them and there was enough left to feed a literal cricket team after too. Anna was great with working with dietary requirements alongside our main cake and created things that looked as good as they tasted!

I cannot thank Pip enough for her amazing cake. Her attention to detail is incredible and we loved her beautiful cake. But oh my god was it delicious. I’ve had horrible dry cakes before but Pips was incredible and kept for ages afterwards… I’m still salivating thinking about it.

Vanilla Pod bakery to provide cupcakes for my wedding in August last year. I like the fact that they used local produce and free range eggs, I think it is important to support local business. Pia and her team were very professional and nothing was too much trouble with regard to choosing cupcake, flavours, coloured cases and other various options. I changed my mind on a number of occasions as to what flavour combinations to have as they was so much choice. My mum and I had to pleasure of tasting a few at a meeting we had and they were delicious!!!! I would highly recommend Vanilla Pod to anyone having a special occasion, no only do they look lovely they taste great too. Just one thing order more than you think as all your guests and family with love them and I will say one is not enough!!!!! Thanks Pia and Vanilla Pod team. x
