Our beautiful day, in the most beautiful place in the whole South West 🤍
Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and that was for sure in part because of the incredible Lost Gardens of Heligan!
From the moment we visited the venue (by chance!) we knew it was the one. Plenty of choice for ceremony and reception areas, beautiful sprawling grounds, a commitment to high quality and local food, and a team who go above and beyond to help you plan and deliver the day of your dreams.
Louise and her team are fantastic. We were surprised at just how much they offered, and how flexible they were. We think that they could better advertise just how much they offer to couples - we weren't expecting them to make our stationery, support with dressing the reception area, etc. The value for money is excellent.
The food was top tier! Weddings are already so wasteful, and local grown food was a priority for us. 85% of the food they sell and make is grown on site - and you can tell! Beautiful seasonal produce, well cooked and presented.
The Cornish touches were amazing. The whole day had a very relaxed, Cornish vibe, and the pasties at the end of the night were a real hit. :)
The bride's brother has autism and epilepsy. Louise and her team were very supportive in the lead-up to and on the day, offering spaces for him to go to decompress and keeping an eye on him. Thank you.
We loved our wedding at Heligan, and 110% recommend it for any couple who want a relaxed venue, with local Cornish produce, a supportive coordination team, and beautiful grounds. It's a day we will never forget. 🤍

Having spent over 10 incredible years at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, a little over two years ago, I unexpectedly discovered a deep passion for weddings and events that set me on this wonderful journey. There is nothing I enjoy more than handpicking flowers and foliage from the garden, carefully crafting table displays, and adding those special finishing touches to ensure everything is absolutely perfect. It’s such a rewarding experience to bring the beauty of the garden to life for each couple’s special day.
