The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Lynn and all her team were fantastic start to finish. From planning and putting up and facilitating all our requests (of which there were many!) and making our perfect wedding a reality. Communication with our other vendors was exemplary and I had no doubt that everything would be in place for our day. Value was amazing and on the day we felt supported and we were able to enjoy and take in our day without any worries or stress.

Where do we even begin?

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and that was for sure in part because of the incredible Lost Gardens of Heligan!

From the moment we visited the venue (by chance!) we knew it was the one. Plenty of choice for ceremony and reception areas, beautiful sprawling grounds, a commitment to high quality and local food, and a team who go above and beyond to help you plan and deliver the day of your dreams.

Louise and her team are fantastic. We were surprised at just how much they offered, and how flexible they were. We think that they could better advertise just how much they offer to couples - we weren't expecting them to make our stationery, support with dressing the reception area, etc. The value for money is excellent.

The food was top tier! Weddings are already so wasteful, and local grown food was a priority for us. 85% of the food they sell and make is grown on site - and you can tell! Beautiful seasonal produce, well cooked and presented.

The Cornish touches were amazing. The whole day had a very relaxed, Cornish vibe, and the pasties at the end of the night were a real hit. :)

The bride's brother has autism and epilepsy. Louise and her team were very supportive in the lead-up to and on the day, offering spaces for him to go to decompress and keeping an eye on him. Thank you.

We loved our wedding at Heligan, and 110% recommend it for any couple who want a relaxed venue, with local Cornish produce, a supportive coordination team, and beautiful grounds. It's a day we will never forget. 🤍

We got married on the 6th September 2025 and wow what an amazing day. Not only is heligan one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall, Louise and her team are the most accommodating and professional. They made it stress free and nothing was too much trouble. It was easy to communicate with them and the price was more than reasonable to make the bespoke wedding of our dreams. The food was exceptional beyond the high standards that heligan already have. Our photos look absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend.

Louise and the wedding team at Heligan helped us plan and create the most perfect, magical wedding day! The amount of thought and attention to detail put in was just incredible, Louise really made our dreams come true, she had thought of everything for us and could cater for our every need. I got married here on the 4th of may and couldn't not have asked for a more amazing venue for the wedding and the team especially Louise and Victoria made our day so amazing and made sure we had everything we needed for the day. Our table plan and the sign's on site were designed beautifully using the same design we had for our invites

We had a fantastic time at our wedding in autumn 2024. There wasn't anything the team said no to about our requests and we had a fantastic day. Everything was just as we planned, and with all the details of Heligan, a place we love so much. All the prices of things and costs were upfront and nothing hidden, the team went the extra mile to make sure all our guests were catered for, from dietary requirements to young children at dinner. It made the perfect venue for our small wedding, 17 guests, 5 of which were children under 6. They enjoyed time outside, toasting marshmallows and seeing the animals. The food was delicious and locally sourced and everyone complimented our cocktail choice, made by Heligan.

Louise and her team from start to finish we're nothing but exemplary. They had so much attention to detail and really showed they cared about making our day the best it could be.
The day itself was fantastic, everything ran smoothly and our guests have said it was the best wedding they've been too. They also expressed many times how amazing the food was.
We 100% recommend heligan as a venue to hold a wedding or any other event for that matter.

We are so pleased the lost gardens have been found! The focus of the organisational staff was superb, and their help was enormous. The flexibility of the arrangements was unlike any other on offer (forget the rigid and costly Eden Project now!). The beauty of the gardens and the friendliness of everyone within in them, from gardeners to kitchen staff, was extraordinary (calling out particularly the gardener who let us have photos in a closed greenhouse, and the chef who gave me a huge piping tube of his amazing garlic butter). We felt so special, and were astonished by the attention to detail. Finally, the value for money was extraordinary. I cannot recommend the Lost Gardens of Heligan highly enough. Choose this venue!

I’ve visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan many time before and I never thought I would get married there one day!

After enquiring with many venues, I thought I would reach out with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and see if they could book us in!

We were quickly contacted by Louise who would also go on to arrange most of the day! The service provided by Louise and the team was fantastic and they made the day very special for us!

Ultimately for wedding venues, this is one of Cornwalls best kept secrets! The venue was fantastic and it’s a great place for the wedding photos!

The food was outstanding from the canapés all the way thought to the cake and the cake bites! The staff were very attentive and kindly boxed up all the leftovers for us to take away.

The venue was great value for money and the service was excellent! I would highly recommend this venue and you should consider it if you’re getting married!

We were luckily enough to have our wedding reception at The Lost Gardens of Heligan in August 2022. It was absolutely perfect! The team at Heligan were fantastic and we really couldn’t fault a thing.
