I started my journey at The Lost Gardens of Heligan over four years ago, bringing weddings to life in what I believe is one of the most beautiful and romantic gardens in Europe. The gardens are truly unique and like no other venue, and I love guiding couples through the wedding details to create their unforgettable day. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, I have extensive knowledge of wines, cocktails, and the perfect food pairings. One of the most exciting parts of my job is sitting down with couples and bringing their vision to life in beautiful surroundings, using the freshest homegrown ingredients straight from the garden and farm.
Hosting has always been my true passion, and I’m incredibly fortunate to now be able to pursue it as a career in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful gardens in all of Europe. Love flourishes throughout the year here at Heligan, and I find it absolutely magical that 85% of our food produce comes from the surrounding estate and gardens. The opportunities for creativity are endless, allowing couples to craft a completely bespoke wedding menu that reflects their unique style and taste. At Heligan, love truly comes to life, and it’s both a joy and an honour to be part of such a special experience.
Having spent over 10 incredible years at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, a little over two years ago, I unexpectedly discovered a deep passion for weddings and events that set me on this wonderful journey. There is nothing I enjoy more than handpicking flowers and foliage from the garden, carefully crafting table displays, and adding those special finishing touches to ensure everything is absolutely perfect. It’s such a rewarding experience to bring the beauty of the garden to life for each couple’s special day.
