Bridal Makeup Artist Karen will be delighted to help you look radiant and feel absolutely incredible on your very special day, and only uses certified cruelty free makeup and skincare, which is nearly 100% vegan friendly too. This includes makeup by Charlotte Tilbury, Delilah Cosmetics, Kryolan, and L'Occitane en Provence owned company, LimeLife.
Karen specialises in creating timeless, elegant makeup, and she loves enhancing your features rather than covering them up, unless of course, that's what you want! Every bride is unique, which is why she takes the time to understand your personal style, and vision, creating a bespoke look that is beautifully you, whether that's soft and elegant, or bold and beautiful. You will have her full attention, and as timings for the day are pre-arranged you can just sit back, relax and enjoy every moment! It's not just about the makeup, or the hair, but to make your bridal beauty experience relaxed, luxurious and unforgettable!
She collaborates with a very talented bridal hair stylist Lily of the Valley Hair Design who can also be found on Hitched, and they do most of their weddings together meaning you get a seamless, high-end service from two professionals who know each other, and create exquisite bridal hair & makeup.

Karen is amazing!
Karen was amazing start to finish! Recommended a hair stylist (Lily of the Valley/Dora) as they usually work together and well the rest is history 🥰 had my hair and make up trial at the same time which meant I got to see it together. I wanted something quite neutral but in the end we decided on something much more glam which actually worked perfectly! Karen is so knowledgable and kind and we had such a great morning getting ready for my wedding ❤️ highly recommend her!

Felt like a new women
I had my wedding on the 15th of August 2026 and I did not change a thing from my trail make-up as I fell in love with it, Karen knew exactly what would look good and what wouldn’t, she did suggest we change my lipstick as I now had a darker tan then at my trail, which made my look completed. It was such a glorious day and my make-up lasted all day and well into the night, dancing the night away, my bridesmaid and I were in complete awe of our looks, we felt like princess and a new women, a polished version of ourselves. I will highly recommend Karen and Coral to anyone who wants to look and feel fabulous on their special day, without breaking the bank and with someone you just makes you feel heard and talks you through every step, well and truly amazing🤍🥹.

Make up Artist
Karen at Be Simply Beautiful was incredibly supportive when I needed an additional makeup artist at the last minute. She kindly stepped in and offered her services, giving us the opportunity to have a trial at home, which was so convenient as she is a mobile makeup artist.
On the wedding day, Karen arrived very early and worked seamlessly with the team to ensure everyone was ready on time. She was warm, friendly, professional, and helped everyone feel relaxed throughout the morning.

Wedding makeup
Karen made me and all of my bridal team feel beautiful, she really listened to what they had envisioned for themselves on the day and followed it to a tee. The little flowergirls were especially happy with their 'makeups'. Even my mum who never wears makeup felt comfortable and most importantly beautiful. Thank you!☺️

Miracle worker!
Karen is an exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and principled makeup artist who I feel exceptionally lucky to have had as my MUA on my wedding day. From the moment I first contacted her she was clearly well informed, and offered many different packages to suit my or anyone else's needs - very useful for a bride like myself who knows next to nothing about makeup. When it was clear that her usual hair stylist wasn't available, the helped me find a suitable replacement locally, and when disaster struck on the day of the wedding she leapt into action. Despite not being a professional hair stylist she managed to recreate the hairstyle I had trialled from description alone, and completely saved the day. On top of that fantastic feat, Karen made sure that none of her products caused a reaction on my sensitive skin, helped me to choose a makeup look which complemented my face and skin texture, and made me look and feel utterly beautiful on the special day. She reassured me about my insecurities, let me know everything she was doing, and just made me feel confident in my own skin. I really cannot thank or recommend her enough. More than a make up artist - A wedding day angel!
I honestly cannot recommend Karen highly enough. From my trial to my wedding day, she was an absolute dream to work with.
My trial was such a lovely experience, we had so much fun, chatted for hours, and it felt like spending time with an old friend. Karen was so generous with her knowledge and gave me so much helpful advice, not just about makeup but about the wedding day itself. It left me feeling excited, reassured, and completely confident that I was in the best hands.
A few days before the wedding, I developed a cold sore and was absolutely devastated. Karen was so kind and calming about it, reassuring me every step of the way and making me feel so much better about the situation. Thanks to her incredible skill, you genuinely would never have known it was there. She completely took away what had become a huge worry and allowed me to focus on enjoying one of the happiest days of my life.
On the wedding morning, Karen brought such a warm, positive energy (and the music!). She has an amazing ability to read the room and knew exactly when to chat, when to offer reassurance, and when to quietly let everyone enjoy the moment. She helped create such a relaxed atmosphere and made the whole morning feel even more special.
My makeup (and my bridesmaids) was absolutely flawless. It looked beautiful in person, photographed perfectly, and stayed put all day and night. Most importantly, I felt completely like myself—just a more radiant, confident version.

Lovely, professional makeup artist
Karen has been amazing from the start! She set up a call with me to discuss my makeup preferences and just to get to know me, which I thought was very kind and showed that she cared a lot about her job as well as her clients. She did a trial for me a few months before the wedding, she came to my house and we chatted and had a laugh while she did my tester makeup. On the day, she brought a friend with her to help, at no extra charge, and was very time efficient. Karen is a lovely lady who definitely knows her stuff. She uses pretty much all vegan and cruelty free makeup, which lasted all day and looked amazing! I highly recommend her to any brides - she kept in contact a lot, made sure she knew everyone’s skin types and any allergies to ensure myself and my bridesmaids had the right products for our skin. She is also one of the most fairly priced MUA’s out there - but the quality of products, knowledge and care speaks for itself! You can’t go wrong with Be Simply Beautiful!

Karen was wonderful
Karen was just fab. I don’t live in the area so it was a little daunting and I know very little about lovely make up. She was so responsive and so encouraging and we had a lovely chat before the wedding. Then the day off, so down to earth, so chatty. Wanted her to stay all day, she was loads of fun and the make up was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend Karen enough. If I marry again I’ll be calling Karen 🤣thank you for being part of our day! X

Wedding Makeup
Karen was the makeup artist for myself and my four bridesmaids on my wedding day last week. I had a trial a few months before where we planned what would work on the day. She kept me informed, regularly messaging and spoke to me the day before my big day to check in and make sure I was happy with everything. She listened to what I wanted and brought out the best of my features. She uses high quality products. She really did make me feel like a princess for the day.
Karen made us all look and feel so beautiful. Her attention to detail is second to none. She helped me with words of encouragement on the day when wedding nerves were getting the better of me. She was so calm on the morning and made everyone feel at ease.
