About Karen
Her journey into the world of beauty and makeup began 6 years ago when she was looking for an alternative to high street skincare. She wanted something that was as natural as possible, clean, vegan, and certified cruelty free. She stumbled across a US brand called LimeLife by Alcone that offered exactly what she was looking for! They had the most amazing range of beautiful professional makeup too which is how her Makeup Artistry journey began, and she hasn’t looked back since!

Yes, it's true! If you put makeup on dry, flaky skin, it's going to look dry and flaky! Karen offers everyday skincare advice, and works alongside a very knowledgeable and trusted Beauty Therapist friend who offers bespoke, tailored facials using the latest technology and beauty products. Whether you have specific skin concerns, or just want pampering before your wedding day, she will look after you in her private salon and ensure you're relaxed and glowing from head to toe! All Karen's Bridal makeup services include a luxury skin prep before makeup apppication, using all plant-based, vegan, and certified cruelty free skincare.
Your wedding day makeup
Karen is a big believer in enhancing your natural beauty! We are all beautiful in our own unique way, and she loves enhancing your features rather than covering them up! During your bridal makeup preview she will take the time to help you feel calm and collected and will listen to all your ideas and provide her beauty expertise when needed. No time for a trial, or don’t live in Cornwall or Devon? You can still get wedding day makeup without one! She has a lot of clients who don't live locally, but get married in Devon and Cornwall. In the time leading up to your wedding day, she will liaise with you to discuss what look you would like, with the help of photo ideas and a video call!
On your wedding day, you and your bridal party will leave the room feeling calm and confident, and looking radiant! You will have her full attention, and timings for the day are pre-arranged ensuring you can just sit back, relax and enjoy every moment! It's not just about the makeup, but ensuring everyone has the most amazing and unforgettable wedding morning!

Karen offers a range of packages from makeup only or ones that include hair & makeup from wedding day only, to ones that include the Bride plus 3. They suit all budgets and requirements, and custom packages are available on request!

More than a make up artist - A wedding day angel!
My trial was such a lovely experience, we had so much fun, chatted for hours, and it felt like spending time with an old friend. Karen was so generous with her knowledge and gave me so much helpful advice, not just about makeup but about the wedding day itself. It left me feeling excited, reassured, and completely confident that I was in the best hands.
A few days before the wedding, I developed a cold sore and was absolutely devastated. Karen was so kind and calming about it, reassuring me every step of the way and making me feel so much better about the situation. Thanks to her incredible skill, you genuinely would never have known it was there. She completely took away what had become a huge worry and allowed me to focus on enjoying one of the happiest days of my life.
On the wedding morning, Karen brought such a warm, positive energy (and the music!). She has an amazing ability to read the room and knew exactly when to chat, when to offer reassurance, and when to quietly let everyone enjoy the moment. She helped create such a relaxed atmosphere and made the whole morning feel even more special.
My makeup (and my bridesmaids) was absolutely flawless. It looked beautiful in person, photographed perfectly, and stayed put all day and night. Most importantly, I felt completely like myself—just a more radiant, confident version.
