Now, this is probably the hardest review we’ll ever have to write because there’s no way to put into words just how utterly brilliant Ruth is..….from our very first contact, to the final delivery on our wedding day Ruth was kind, attentive, amazing, superb and incredible in every single way.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, Ruth was always on hand for a quick text or call. Her guidance and support went way above and beyond our expectations…..

We think Ruth would agree that we had the most unique and unbelievable wedding day in so many different ways and yet still, so many of our guests have still singled out Ruth’s ceremony as being one of the highlights of the day describing her amongst other things as warm, friendly, funny and cool.

We’re quite sure that you won’t find anyone better to act as celebrant on your big day!!!

We would totally recommend Ruth for your big day .We had interviewed a few Celebrant for our wedding but nobody compared to Ruth. Right from the beginning Ruth made us both feel so comfortable as this was completely out of our comfort zone. From start to finish she guided us and on the day she came to the venue early making sure every little detail was correct as she knew how i wanted everything perfect. I had the most relaxed, easy ceremony/wedding. My feed back since the wedding has been what a lovely ceremony we had.

Ruth was the celebrant for our wedding in July. From our first conversation with Ruth, we instantly knew we liked her. She has such a lovely, warm and friendly manner that put us at ease straight away. Throughout the whole process she was great to work with and she took the time to really get to know us as a couple.

Ruth made our ceremony feel incredibly personal and meaningful. Every detail in the script reflected who we are, our story and what mattered most to us. She checked in regularly in the lead-up to the big day and made sure we were happy with every part of the script. There was never any pressure to include things we didn’t want. Ruth made sure the ceremony would be exactly what we wanted.

The pre-wedding meet-up at the venue with Ruth was so helpful. She walked us through everything, answered every question and made sure we both entirely happy with the arrangements for our day.

On our wedding day, Ruth arrived in plenty of time and immediately got everything organised. She made sure all the little details were in place, spoke with our suppliers, groomsmen and the bridal party to ensure everyone knew what to do. The ceremony she delivered was heartfelt, seamless and truly unforgettable. So many of our guests commented on how personal and special it felt. It was exactly what we wanted.

Ruth is a wonderful lady and we couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant. She made our vision of our wedding ceremony come true and we will always be grateful for the part she played in making our wedding day so perfect. Thank you Ruth!

Ruth did an amazing job officiating our ceremony. We were blown away by the level of care she took in making sure the entire ceremony was perfect. She got contact details from us and then reached out to all vendors on our behalf to let them know of important moments and queues for the day, ensuring not a special moment was missed by our videographer or photographer and having our dog be part of the ceremony was absolutely seamless as well. I told my now husband a week before the wedding "I already know we wont regret hiring Ruth because the one thing I'm not worried about at all is our ceremony being perfect". Ruth absolutely loves love and wants to celebrate your love with your partner. Book a consultation call with her and you wont regret booking her for your ceremony.

We chose Ruth to be our celebrant after seeing her Instagram page and as soon as we spoke on the phone we knew she was the perfect choice. She was incredibly professional, organised and personable and took all our stress about planning our wedding ceremony away from the very first meeting. On the day Ruth was an absolute joy, she led the ceremony perfectly with a mix of emotion and humour which all our guests loved. She mingled perfectly with our guests and we honestly feel like she made our wedding day even more special. Her touches like printing our vows and sending them to us afterwards, as well as making the ceremony incredible personal to us made us feel like she had known us for years. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Ruth was our celebrant to our wedding in November 2025, she was nothing short of amazing. Her energy made myself, my wife and our daughter feel safe and confident leading up to the day. We knew we were in safe hands after our first zoom meeting. She took the time to know all 3 of us personally and let us trust the process.

On the day of the wedding herself and Ruth’s husband David (The unsung hero of the day) made us both feel at ease and we knew the day was going to be beautiful. David took the time to help all the grooms men get ready and offered last minute of advice to us all, was made us feel ready. He’s also just a great person to be around.

Once the ceremony was ready to start Ruth made sure, we both knew what we were doing, where to be and made sure we were ready before anything happened. Once she started the ceremony, she ensured the guest were engaged, laughing, confutable and that our script was personal to us. Which everyone loved and commented on how great she was!

We’re both pleased that Ruth done our ceremony and helped made our day perfect. We would recommend Ruth to anyone.

Ruth conducted our ceremony a few weeks ago now and we are so glad we chose to have her! We first met Ruth 2 years ago at a wedding fair and booked her straight away! From then onwards we always had lots of contact with her all the way up to minutes before the ceremony. From the second I spotted Ruth to talking to her at Downhall wedding fair last year i was saying to Ian she looks like Jane Fonda! 🥰 and that was it for me I was totally hooked on Ruth being our Celebrant,
but so much more than that Ruth kept in contact with us all the way through the planning with video chats and then the run through at Downhall just before our day.
On the Day of our Wedding Ruth looked stunning as she always does, her smile and friendliness has a way of resonating calm in people and her professionalism was key to a very smooth running Ceremony. We had so many Guests Commenting on how they absolutely loved the fun and yet very touching words that Ruth spoke using the information she gathered from us about missing loved ones and our story bringing tears of remembrance and laughter throughout the ceremony.
Ruth conducted her part so passionately and captivated everyone in the room, some said it was the best wedding they've ever attended.

We still get people talking about the day and Ruth is in my Phone as Ruth ( Jane Fonda) but more than that a friend who made our day something we will never forget.

Ruth was amazing, from the moment we met her at Martells Wedding village we knew she was the person to conduct our ceremony. Such a great character, sense of humour and really took time to learn our story and interpreted it beautifully. Ruth checked every detail with us, met us at our venue to run through things and on the day of our wedding ensured that everyone knew their role in the day and made everyone feel at ease. Ruth really made our day and all of our guests have commented on how Ruth really engaged everyone and reflected our sense of fun into everything. I would certainly recommend Ruth to anyone getting married - or any other event that requires a celebrant - she really is the best.

Ruth is absolutely fantastic at being a celebrant. She worked with us to create the perfect ceremony. We had numerous meeting with her so she got to know us fully and really interpreted our love for each other and was able to vocalise it to our family and friends on the day. She came suggest other elements to our ceremony that we hadn't thought of which really added to our day. Having already spoken to our suppliers, on the day she had full control of our ceremony so we were able to relax and enjoy our day. I would recommend Ruth to anyone! She is the best at her job!

We found Ruth by chance, after googling “celebrants near me” and she was the closest. That 8 minute drive turned out to be serendipitous as, having already had a religious ceremony for our legal wedding, we were looking for something more personal and unique for our wedding reception and celebration and Ruth more than delivered. Ruth well-deserves her award-winning reputation, she conducted our wedding ceremony with humour, warmth and attention to detail, taking time to include everyone. We wanted the ceremony to be more than just something to get out of the way before the party, and Ruth certainly gave us that! In preparation, she took the time to get to know us both and lead us in ways to make the day very personal. She incorporated facts about each of us and our life together, quizzes, quips and fun, finally coming up with a finished product that was unanimously described as “the best wedding I’ve ever been to!” I have never before attended a wedding ceremony that had so much laughter and so many smiles! If you want a personal, fun and memorable wedding ceremony, then Ruth is definitely the celebrant for you. We don’t hesitate to recommend her. Thanks again Ruth, you were fantastic!

Oh wow, what can we say about Ruth… she was honestly the starting point for the whole vibe of our wedding! From the very first meeting, we knew we wanted our day to feel deeply personal – and Ruth showed us that not only was that possible, but that we deserved it too.
Ruth is energetic, endlessly generous with her time and efforts, and her aura is completely infectious. She truly loves love, and it shines through in everything she does. She took every little detail of our story and crafted the most beautiful script, one that felt like it could only have been written for us.
One of the things we loved most was how she included so many members of our family and wedding party in the ceremony. Ruth made everyone feel like they had their part to play, and it was just wonderful to see how involved and connected everyone felt.
I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical at first about having both a registry ceremony and a wedding ceremony – but Ruth explained it so perfectly. She helped me see the registry as simply a legal formality, freeing us up to make our wedding the heartfelt celebration we dreamed of. I was sold immediately (and I think my new husband was quite relieved too!).
We can’t thank or recommend Ruth enough – we’ll truly miss our catch-ups with her. And we have to give a very special mention to her husband, David. He brought so much joy on the day, capturing wonderful behind-the-scenes moments, and instantly putting me at ease while I waited for my entrance. It’s clear why they make such a brilliant team – they’re just super cute together!

We had Ruth as our celebrant for our wedding day in June 2025 and we loved her. From the moment we met at the red lion inn at a wedding event to our wedding day Ruth took us under her wing and we warmed to her straight away. Ruth’s work is amazing and she told our love story perfectly! We wasn’t sure what a celebrants role entailed at a wedding until Ruth explained to us and we’re so pleased we went with a celebrant led wedding; it just felt so personal and unique.
