Ruth was the perfect celebrant for our wedding

Stop looking, don’t waste any more time looking for a celebrant because you’ve found her! Choosing Ruth to be the celebrant at our wedding last month was the best decision we could have made. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Ruth thinks of every single detail (99% of which we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves) and ensures that absolutely everything runs smoothly in the build up and on the day.

Ruth loves love and you will feel like you are the only couple she has on her calendar because she is just that devoted to making your ceremony as special as it can be.

And that is exactly what we got. It was just perfect. Everyone at our wedding couldn’t speak highly enough of Ruth’s ceremony and noted how personal it was to our love story.

If you want my advice, book her in now before your date goes!

Amazing from start to finish

We met Ruth during an open day and although we hadn't thought of a celebrant, we couldn't stop thinking about Ruth. We changed our ceremony so that we could incorporate Ruth into our day. Ruth made everything feel real and helped in so many ways to bring everything together. Ruth really spent time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. Ruth eased any nerves and made our wedding fun and personable. Ruth's personality is infectious and was a highlight for our wedding guests.

The best celebrant there is!

Choosing the celebrant to conduct our wedding was probably the biggest planning decision we had to make. We spoke to three different celebrants, but when we spoke to Ruth we knew instantly she was 'our person'. She was incredibly friendly and made us both feel very comfortable. Ruth took the time to schedule meetings, making sure she could understand exactly what we wanted and to get to know us so that our ceremony was personal to us. This even included a venue visit which made us both feel reassured and more confident for the day. She sent through questionnaires to us both separately, which was great fun, and she completely capture the essence of our relationship. So much so that we decided it wasn't necessary to write our own personal vows. We could relax and let Ruth tell our story and she did so with the perfect amount of emotion and laughter throughout. Ruth was reassuring and calming on the day and settled our pre ceremony nerves. I would highly recommend having a celebrant-led wedding and choosing Ruth to conduct it to any couple getting married. She made our day so so perfect. Our guests absolutely loved her too, it was lovely to have so many compliments on our ceremony. Thank you so much Ruth!

Hands down the best wedding decision we made

Wow, where to begin?! I need to start by saying Ruth is incredible at her job and if you don’t want to read a very lengthy review, to summarise: you should absolutely book her for your ceremony.

Myself & Zac chose a venue that required quite a lot of planning. We are also both very disorganised and for lack of a better word, lazy. Hiring Ruth is like a 2-in-1 celebrant and wedding planner. Her wealth of knowledge and experience of countless weddings is extremely helpful with all the small details you’re worrying about, like what ushers actually do (I’d never heard of an usher before I got married)!

Her brilliant organisational skills aside, Ruth is just a wonderful human being. Sometimes you meet people who are like a ray of sunshine, and Ruth is one of those people. As soon as we spoke to her, we instantly felt at ease, like we’d known her for years. The script she wrote for us was the perfect mix of personal, funny, wise, and summed us up to a tee. It’s rare to meet someone who is so passionate about their job, but Ruth really does put everything into her work and clearly loves what she does.

I could go on and on about how amazing she is, but genuinely, booking Ruth was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and she will always hold a place in our hearts. Thank you, Ruth.

I must also add, Ruth was also incredibly kind and patient when we were over an hour late to the venue for our initial meeting as my now husband directed us to a venue the other side of the county!

Perfect celebrant!

Wow, wow, wow. Ruth is one of the most nicest people we have ever met. From our very first contact, we absolutely loved Ruth and everything she stood for. We are so happy we decided to go with a celebrant and even happier that it was Ruth. We just clicked so well and felt so natural and comfortable. She made us both feel so welcome and all the help and support she gave us before the day was outstanding. As for the day, it was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Ruth is magic!

Ruth is magic! A true gem of a person who made our wedding very special indeed. Right from the initial phone call we knew Ruth was our lady, with her energy, enthusiasm, understanding, and wish to meet our needs. She had great ideas, holding our hand every step of the way in thinking what we might like in the ceremony, and wrote a beautiful bespoke wedding ceremony script which was really personal to us, but also was really engaging with all the guests. We had many comments afterwards from people saying it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to, and as a couple in our late 40's, our friends and us have been to many. Thank you Ruth for making it so special!

Fantastic from the very first correspondence

If you are looking for a celebrant, look no further! Ruth is an absolute delight and we felt an instant connection with her and knew she would be absolutely perfect to help us plan our vow renewal ceremony. Nothing was ever too much trouble or a silly question and this lovely lady thinks of every aspect of your big day, things you wouldn't even have thought of. Right down to the font type and font size of your vow card! She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple to help make your ceremony as personal as it can be. Do not plan your wedding ceremony without ruth!

Choosing Ruth to be our celebrant at our wedding 3 weeks ago was the best decision we ever made! She is simply the best! Planning our wedding from the states wasn’t easy but she made the process seamless! After countless FaceTime calls we finally met in person less than a week before the wedding and she immediately felt like family! She personalized our wedding ceremony beautifully with so many special moments that my husband and I will remember forever. Her words and her presence are truly magical! We will be forever grateful to have met such a beautiful person!
