Lauren was simply fantastic, she was everything I needed in a wedding hair and makeup artist, and more! She was friendly, organised, communicative, punctual and incredibly talented. I had so much fun at my trial, she was so easy to chat to about anything and everything. Lauren was so receptive during the trial to any minor adjustments I requested to achieve the perfect look, and she absolutely smashed it out of the park, I adored how I looked on the big day, I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror! Her relaxed easy-going manner was exactly what was needed on our wedding morning. I would recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a hair and/or makeup artist, you won't be disappointed!

I’m so glad I chose Lauren to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She is so lovely, talented and made the wedding morning so special. My bridal party and I thoroughly enjoyed her company on the morning and she made us feel so at ease. We felt so beautiful and glowy! Couldn’t recommend more. I don’t wear heavy makeup, and wanted a really natural look on the day- and Lauren achieved this perfectly!

Lauren put me at ease the moment I met her during my trial. Getting your make up and hair done can feel such a personal thing and also quite nerve wracking if you’ve never had it done professionally before! But Lauren was chatty, polite and asked all the right questions! Not to mention her gorgeous doggy!
On my wedding morning, Lauren was the exact same and made the whole bridal party feel calm yet excited! All the things I was nervous about, she kept reassuring me was totally normal and fine - and this is before we get to the hair and make up!
Lauren followed my brief completely and gave me a glowy, peachy, pink finish I asked for and my hair was absolutely beautiful. It lasted all day and all night, even in 30° heat! I was so pleased with my look and my bridal party loved their make up too.

Lauren was amazing throughout the whole process. The bridal trial was super smooth and easy to arrange which made me feel such peace. She arrived promptly on the day and followed her timings to perfection. She applied any last minute changes we asked for and made me and my bridesmaids feel gorgeous on the day.
The thing I was most worried about was my hair as I wanted to keep my natural curl pattern but give them more shape with the curling iron but since my hair is very fine it usually doesn't last long. As the expert she is Lauren maintained my hair pattern while giving it extra shape and making it last the whole day even after dancing all night long.

I put a huge amount of time and care into selecting a makeup artist for my wedding, and sadly, I could not have been more wrong in choosing Lauren.

Just 38 hours before my wedding, Lauren cancelled—via email at 9:30pm. Thankfully, I happened to see it, but when I tried to follow up with phone calls, I received no response. She later stated she was in hospital, which of course is a difficult situation, and I hope she’s okay. However, that doesn't excuse the way this was handled.

At such a crucial and sensitive time, a responsible and experienced professional would have arranged cover in her absence and then informed me of that plan. That is what any bride reasonably expects, and when I reached out to other makeup artists, they confirmed this is standard practice. Instead, Lauren vaguely mentioned she had "put a post out" to see if someone might be available. I was left in a state of panic, scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute, with no guidance or support from her.

The day before my wedding, instead of soaking in the excitement and tying up final preparations, I spent it in complete stress trying to secure a last-minute hair and makeup artist. It was distressing and took away from a time that should have been joyful.

I expect Lauren may respond saying she followed her terms and conditions and notified me in writing—as agreed. But from a basic human and professional standpoint, sending a late-night email and then ignoring all calls the day before a client’s wedding is simply unacceptable. Out of decency, she should have called directly or had someone contact me, and more importantly, she should have arranged an alternative artist and reassured me.

Luckily, I was able to find someone who could do my hair and make up last minute, and I actually preferred their work. Nonetheless this experience left a significant shadow my wedding I would strongly urge others to think carefully before relying on Lauren for such an important occasion.

I am so glad I chose Lauren for my wedding hair and makeup, not only does she have a lovely calming personality, perfect for a wedding morning but she managed to get my heavy hair and oily skin to perfectly hold all day. I loved my wedding look, the trial was great but I asked for a few small tweaks on the day which Lauren listened to and executed perfectly. My bridesmaids and mum also looked beautiful. Lauren is super helpful, skilled, responsive and on time which made for a very relaxed experience.

Lauren did my hair and make up for my wedding day and I’m so glad I found her! I really wanted a natural look as I don’t usually wear a lot of make up and still want to look like myself and she captured it perfectly! I had really struggled with my skin leading up to the wedding and was anxious about how it would look on the day but Lauren made me feel so relaxed and reassured and did such a great job with coverage without feeling like I was caked in make up.
My hair held all night and I got so many compliments on my make up.
I can’t recommend Lauren enough, she’s so talented, kind, calm and genuine and everything you need the morning of your wedding.

Lauren is absolutely fantastic! From the start, she made me feel completely at ease, really listening when I shared my concerns about my ‘awkward’ hair that usually falls out at the slightest gust of wind.

The makeup she did was beautifully natural and stayed flawless all day, as did the hair! I truly felt like a goddess, and for the first time, I looked at myself and genuinely thought "Wow, I look amazing!" That feeling of confidence was incredible, and it’s all thanks to Lauren’s talent.

I booked Lauren after searching high and low for a stylist. Lauren is one of the loveliest, most genuine people I’ve ever met who takes so much pride in the authenticity of her work and morals. She is honest about if the style you have in mind is achievable and always adds emphasis that no two styles will look the same. She is creative and has skill in abundance.
