This venue was absolutely perfect for our special day! The staff couldn't do enough for us, everyone from the chef, to the reception staff to the managers went over and above for us and couldn't have made it any more special. We had gorgeous weather (which was unexpected for a September wedding!) and we made the most of the courtyard space which was perfect for our guests to have a drink in the sun and as it got later people congregated there and were in and out of the main room and side room. The Food was amazing too, lots of guests commented that they didn't expect it to be as tasty as it was. All the details were captured by the team, I think there was a problem with the cake the night before and the hotel staff helped make sure that it was salvaged - and no-one mentioned a thing to me! The morning of the day was so special getting ready with my bridesmaids. We stayed there for an extra night which I thoroughly recommend to wind down. Its not a massive hotel but it was special enough to feel luxury and we got to know all the staff in the run up to the day and after - every single member of the team is faultless, they said we were part of their family now and we truly felt that way. We honestly would stay there every month if we could! We are so glad we chose the perfect venue for our wedding.

We’ve had the most amazing weekend at the Hotel Du Vin, Stratford upon Avon, celebrating our Civil Partnership.

Their team (Ewa) made organising our event so easy. From the very start all contact was professional, friendly and accommodating.

Our event was small but they have larger rooms for bigger weddings, parties and gatherings plus a courtyard and champagne terrace for use.

We booked 3 suites (including the “big one” which was lovely) and 3 balcony rooms. All of the rooms weee great, quality, and spacious.

We had our Civil Partnership at the local registry office (Henley Room) but could have had it on site if we wanted.

Afterwards, we returned to the hotel for drinks, canapés and then dinner from their wedding menu. All of the food enjoyed over the weekend was excellent. Starters included langoustine, ham, salad and mains tuna steak or rib eye, plenty of dessert options. The hotel general manager, Paige, made sure everything went to plan.

We were in their MacAllan room which accommodated our party well. The table was lovely and we arranged flowers from Pink Sage over the road.

Breakfast at the hotel was great. The team really looked after us, especially Miranda.

It was nice to have our civil partnership in the town as our guests could enjoy Stratford and all it has to offer. There’s plenty of parking and easy public transport.

All of the hotel staff were welcoming and super friendly.

We highly recommend the hotel for a stay and if you are having an event of any type, would work very well for birthdays, parties, weddings.

We have just celebrated our wedding reception at the Hotel du Vin Stratford upon Avon, in the lovely Charneco room. The events, management and entire team were thoroughly supportive along our journey to plan our day, and we fully recommend this venue. We will return to reminisce on our special day. My husband and I were looking for a hotel walking distance from Stratford upon Avon registry office and Hotel du Vin was perfect. Situated in the heart of Stratford in a beautiful old building, it was perfect for our wedding reception. The Events Manager, Ewa, was fantastic, arranging to meet us on the same day we first rang and continued to organise our reception with care, precision and professionalism. All the staff who work there are incredibly warm and friendly and contributed to the special atmosphere on our wedding day. Some of our relatives met there before going to the registry office and were made very welcome with tea and coffee. There were special touches by staff throughout the day and we were overwhelmed by the stunning suite we stayed in overnight. We were able to sit outside in the courtyard for drinks when we arrived, then went through to a beautiful room off the courtyard for a wonderful meal, which guests highly praised. Photos under the cherry blossom trees were a highlight. There were 44 people at the reception and the room was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel du Vin for a wedding reception. We are so happy that we chose it as the day was just perfect. We’re already planning to go back for our first anniversary.
