Simonne made all of her wedding stationery by hand. The invites were a Cadbury purple colour, and she devised a cute pink and purple bunting logo that was used on all the wedding stationery, including the save the dates, table numbers and favours.
The couple had visited around 5 different wedding venues before knowing that The Park Inn, North Stifford was the perfect venue for them. The Georgian manor house was decadent, extravagent and just what Simonne and Christopher had been looking for to host their wedding ceremony and reception.
Simonne walked down the aisle to ‘I’ll Be There’ by the Jackson 5, which is special to her as her mum walked down the aisle to it when she married her terminally ill husband. The song became Simonne’s ‘something borrowed’. Simonne’s father had suffered a severe stroke, but was determined to walk his daughter down the aisle. This was a massive achievement as he’d had to learn to walk and talk all over again. It was an emotional moment, filled with pride.
