Carl’s mother very kindly made the wedding cake which had a chocolate filling covered with white chocolate icing. The cake also had teal coloured ribbon around each tier and a personalised cake topper which Natalie had ordered especially. Her figurine however was wearing the wrong wedding dress seeing as a last minute decision had been made on her Berketex beauty. The cake was cut and put onto the buffet for everyone to taste before the end of the evening.
After the resident DJ at the venue had played a number of classic tunes the wedding party proceeded outside to light some Chinese lanterns to release into the sky, but unfortunately it was too windy and it didn’t work out so well.
On the Tuesday after the wedding Natalie and Carl flew off to a 5 star, all inclusive, adults only beach resort in Mexico to relax and soak up plenty of sunshine.
