Melissa & John’s Real Wedding

*Benjamin Roberts Bride of the Month, July 2011* Melissa and John had their wedding ceremony and reception at Pelham House in Lewes.  Despite the rain they still managed to have a wonderful celebration with 60 members of their friends and family, followed by a bigger reception in the evening.

The Bride with her Bridesmaids

Melissa chose her two closest friends to be bridesmaids with her niece and little daughter Chloe acting as flower girls. The older bridesmaids wore sage Lamore Satin, A-line, floor-length dresses with ivory sashes around the empire line and an ivory band around the top of the bodice.  The Forever Yours designs came from the Bridal Boutique in Burgess Hill and the service received by the shop was great. One of the girls chose to wear straps with her dress, whilst the other didn’t but Melissa liked the contrast of this as she didn’t want them to look identical.

The two little flower girls wore ivory dresses from BHS.  The dresses had a satin bodice and a net skirt which was decorated with fuscia and ivory petals.  Both girls looked lovely and behaved beautifully throughout the day.
