Lace Wedding Dress
As the wedding took place outdoors, Meg wanted a wedding dress that would suit the outdoorsy feel. She knew she didn’t want a strapless wedding dress, but she definitely wanted lace. Her dream dress was by D’Zage and featured a flowing chiffon skirt with a lace bodice and delicate cap sleeves.
The bride found her wedding dress in Curves and Couture in Essex. She’d tried on quite a few (she loved trying on wedding dresses!) and visited lots of different retailers, including high street stores as she didn’t want to rule anything out in her hunt for the perfect gown.
As soon as she tried on the D’Zage dress, she knew it was the one. She could see herself walking down the aisle in it, and as she emerged from the dressing room, her bridesmaid had the same reaction as her – it had to be the one!
Meg paired her vintage inspired gown with vintage style accessories and a hairpiece made from jewelled flowers. Vicky Brown did her makeup for her, and she opted for a natural look as she doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup.
Her three bridesmaids also had their makeup professionally done and wore dresses by an Australia designer. Two of Meg’s bridesmaids flew in from Australia, and her two little nieces were flower girls.
