Each table at Lynda and Alastair’s reception was named after a famous celebrity couple, with the exception of table number one, where the family sat. Lynda gave this table a special name, which surprised and delighted her guests. She named it after her late grandparents, and included a photo of them on their wedding day. This was a lovely, touching way to include them in her wedding day.
As guests took their seats at the tables, they found favours which doubled up as place cards. All the male guests received miniature bottles of whiskey, with a tartan bow tied around them, whilst the female guests got cream boxes of nail varnishes and lip gloss, tied with a dusky pink ribbon. The guests’ names were written on painted wooden hearts that were attached to the gifts, and painted green for the men, or pink for the women.
