Martin and Jules spent almost a year hunting for their perfect wedding venue, before finding it pretty much sitting on their doorstep! They chose the picturesque Pavenham Village Green, which was surrounded by countryside. However, they had to sort almost everything themselves, from the erection of the marquee to the catering. They also organised lots of fun outdoor games too – it created more work but it was so worth it in the end.
The wedding had a village fete/festival type theme and they organised a hog roast to suit the relaxed vibe. The couple put together their own staff for the day, and gave them polo shirts with ‘take two’ displayed across them.
In the evening the newlyweds and the guests enjoyed a barbecue – they’d worked up an appetite after a full on afternoon of activities!
