One of the perks of marrying at home meant the couple could decorate their marquee however they wanted. They decorated the tent with pompoms and paper globes in orange, ivory and brown, and hung a heart made from book pages from the chandelier.
Each centrepiece consisted of books by the table’s namesake author, as well as floral rings placed around candles. The flowers matched the bride’s bouquet, with orange shades and sheaves of wheat. Claire also used corn wreaths and willow decorations around the marquee.
A band called the Mutz Nutz played an incredible set in the evening, and the couple also hired a photobooth. Richard and Claire also had a mini beer festival at their wedding, which all the guests loved!
