Beth and Simon met online ten years ago whilst both living in Sydney. Their passion for travel led them to some exotic destinations and when the time was right, Simon proposed whilst the couple were enjoying a Japanese meal in Melbourne, the evening before the Australian Open was due to launch.
Simon proposed with a beautiful pair of earrings, as both of Beth’s middle fingers are joined together on each hand and she is un-able to wear a traditional engagement ring. The bride-to-be was delighted at the prospect of planning a wedding and the couple decided to get married in the UK so that they could be around close family members. Simon’s grandfather Jack unfortunately passed away in the UK shortly before the wedding, but he was with the couple in spirit throughout their celebration.
