When planning their wedding, Annemarie and Rhys knew they didn’t want an extravagant affair – they were focused on keeping the celebration all about their love and weren’t too fussed about the extra details.
Accents of pretty pastel mint green were present throughout the reception décor. To be budget savvy, they enlisted the help of their families’ creative skills to help with the décor instead of using a wedding planner!
Annemarie’s mother arranged the flowers that were at the church and also made bows for the children. Rhys’s sister made the incredible cake as well as the bunting and other decorative touches. Annemarie’s talented sister Siobhan not only did the wedding photography, she also created the table cards and did the calligraphy as well!
Annemarie and Rhys hired florist Adda Barry from Wedding Flowers by Laura and Adda, who added beautiful floral touches to the reception décor.
The staff at the hotel provided the chic lily centre pieces for the tables, which were all named after mountains that Annemarie and Rhys had conquered – and sometimes got lost on!
