Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. The trial was a great way to work out what I wanted make up wise for my wedding day. She listened to my ideas and with her expertise and experience we created a gorgeous natural elevated look. Sophie was so relaxed and helpful on the wedding morning. She is great to chat to and made the whole process chilled yet fun. She did not pressure me at all in my timings and completely went with the flow of the morning. She is so adaptable, so friendly and of course talented. I would definitely recommend Sophie!

From our very first virtual meeting, we just knew Kerrie was “the one”! Even over Zoom, her warmth and dedication shone through, she is absolutely wonderful and so happy in her work. The first time we met in person was an hour before our wedding and we instantly felt like she was a family friend or relative, she shared in our excitement and greeted us like an old family friend. Kerrie’s service was like nothing we had ever experienced, it was totally personalised, inclusive of everyone in the room and she has a real talent for making everyone feel part of the ceremony with her little personalised touches. Our son, who doesn’t have the greatest track record with weddings 🙈 said that “the lady made me feel interested”, I can’t express how highly this praise should land!!! Our 83 year old beautiful Flower Granny said that she had never witnessed anything so beautiful in all of her life! Please book Kerrie, she is truly wonderful and you will too have the most special memories of your day! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything ❤️🥹

Caron did the hair and make-up for me, my Mum and two bridesmaids. She did an excellent job and my hair survived a very active wedding including rounders and a Ceilidh without any dropping out of the beautiful up do. She was calm and professional throughout all of the prep and did a great job giving a very natural look as I don't usually wear any make up.

I’m a wedding florist and work frequently with the Foray team. I can’t say enough good things, about their food, which is just phenomenal, or the team. The service they provide to their couples is second to none and working with them is always a pleasure!

As a gay male couple who chose to elope, finding the right photographers to capture such an intimate and important day was incredibly important to us. We were lucky enough to have Maya and Rachel from Infinity Photography, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely comfortable, relaxed and genuinely celebrated as a couple. They were so professional, friendly and fun, and they captured all the little moments and emotions of our day beautifully without anything ever feeling forced. The results are absolutely amazing. Every photo tells a story, and looking through them brought back all the emotions of the day. The quality, creativity and attention to detail were beyond what we could have hoped for. Maya and Rachel were not only incredible photographers but also such a pleasure to have with us on our elopement. We are so grateful they captured our love and memories so perfectly. We had such a great experience with Lorraine. From the first phone call until receiving our pictures. Lorraine answered all my questions and helped every chance she could. We felt so comfortable meeting her for the first time on our wedding day. The pictures have turned out so beautiful and my husband and I are over the moon with the final result. Prices were more than reasonable and the experience was 5 star. I would definitely recommend Bowness wedding photography

We honestly cannot thank Jen, Nicole and the whole team at Southcott enough for everything they did for us in the run up to, and during, our wedding at Eden Barn. From first meeting the team at Eden Barn, through our tasting session, choosing our menu and working through all the little details, we were made to feel incredibly looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and whenever we had a request or an idea, the team did everything they could to accommodate us. That continued right through to the wedding day itself. The food was absolutely fantastic and our guests have not stopped talking about it. The canapés were brilliant, the wedding breakfast was exceptional and the evening pizzas went down an absolute treat. We have had so many lovely comments from our guests about how delicious everything was. But what really stood out to us was the people. So many of our guests commented on how friendly, welcoming and helpful the Southcott team were throughout the day. They were attentive without ever being intrusive, and it genuinely felt like they cared about making our day as special as possible. That is a real testament to Jen and the team. They even went above and beyond to help us with our slightly less conventional idea for the following morning, when we decided to have Bongo Bingo as part of our post wedding breakfast entertainment! They were incredibly helpful in making it all work and were willing to go the extra mile to help us create exactly the sort of weekend we wanted. Looking back, it is the little things like that which made such a difference. We never felt like just another wedding booking. We felt listened to, supported and genuinely cared for throughout the whole experience. Jen, Nicole and the entire Southcott team, thank you. Thank you for the incredible food, the hard work, the flexibility, the laughs and, most importantly, for going above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be. We feel incredibly lucky that our wedding at Eden Barn was catered by such a fantastic team. From the very first meeting right through to the last pizza, you made the whole experience so easy, enjoyable and personal. We wanted to get married and do something a little bit different.. so had a good look around and stumbled on Covered in Style, from the moment I contacted them I knew I was in good hands, they helped me solve all the problems as they cropped up (many of which I really hadn't considered!). And to be honest whilst the weather was amazing, and that does make a day wherever you are the Giant Tipis connected together were decorated beautifully and with some amazingly distinct twists that everyone was wow'ed - it was as beautiful in the tent as outside and that is saying something when in the Lake District :)

If you're looking for a wedding coach, planner, and all around amazing superhuman, stop searching and book Annabel immediately. She is an absolute gem, and I genuinely don't know how we would have survived the wedding planning process without her. When we first met Annabel, my partner and I had absolutely no idea what we wanted. No theme, no clear vision, just a vague idea that we liked the thought of a barn venue. From that blank canvas, Annabel helped us create the most beautiful, magical day that was so perfectly us. Planning a barn wedding meant that every single detail had to be thought through and organised from scratch, and I mean everything. Annabel was incredible at this. Nothing was ever a problem for her. She approached every challenge with creativity, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm. Even on zoom calls that had run 2 hours over because of my indecision! For two years, she was on hand whenever we needed her, guiding us through decisions big and small, always knowing exactly what questions to ask and what we needed to consider, when to push us, how to get to our end goal without feeling overwhelmed. Beyond her exceptional organisational skills, Annabel was our calming voice during the inevitable stressful moments. She has this wonderful way of putting everything into perspective and making you feel like it's all going to be okay, because with her, it always is. She also brilliantly fielded all the awkward family politics that arose (and there were a few!), handling delicate situations with such grace and diplomacy that we barely had to think about them. On the day itself, everything ran like absolute clockwork. Annabel made sure that my partner and I could simply be present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day together. It was perfect. We love Annabel and can't rate her highly enough. She's not just a phenomenal wedding planner, she became someone we truly treasure. If you want someone who will care about your day as much as you do, who will turn your uncertainties into something beautiful, and who will be with you every step of the way, Annabel is an amazing choice. Thank you, Annabel, for everything. We are forever grateful!
