Roots Florist is a highly experienced wedding florist in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria. Providing a romantic, natural and relaxed feel to your dream wedding florals.

Shona created Roots a wedding and events florist in 2025 following my long & successful employment as head florist in a retail and wedding studio.

As well as over a decade of knowledge & experience gained within the Lake District Wedding industry, Im also busy away being self employeed local gardener, which has brought a real love and interest into kickstarting my new small flower growing patch, right in my back garden.

She brings a deep passion for floral design to every creation, blending her knowledge of current , and past styles with a love for artistic expression.

Each wedding is lovingly created with a variety of fresh, seasonal blooms and foliages sustainable and locally grown/ sourced where possible, if not from my own garden!

From bridal party bouquets to statement arches or installs , venue flowers to buttonholes. Roots provides a professional floral design service in and around the Lake District and Cumbria.

Roots is here to build a proffesional relaxed approach to the design and planning of wedding flowers. Im aware that it can seem quite a daunting task, this is where I will guide and advise you in the best way to help you feel at ease with bringing your dreams to real life whilst also working with your designated flower budget.

Each wedding is bespoke to the client, I dont like to offer a general package as my aim is to ensure that every wedding I create is personal just to you. Once you have had your first intial call and discussed your wedding requirements in more depth with Shona you will then recieve an estimated costing. This can be tweeked and changed once your date is booked and confirmed.
